So, the number plate tank automatically flows into your main fuel tank from the vacuum?

Taking it off makes the bike look way cleaner too

Why not just buy a desert tank? I have one on my 2001 CR250 and I want to say it's three gallons

They don't exist for the new Maicos. My 83 does have the desert tank and it is 3 or 3.5 gallons and then I add the number plate and get up to 5 gallons. That bike can go 50 miles then. I have researched into having a tank made but haven't found a place to make an oversize tank yet for the newer Maicos.

Yeah I'm redoing my 2001 CR and it's coming along pretty good got all white Plastics on it got the red white and blue CR sticker kit slowly putting all the red anodized aluminum back on it. I got a 450 coil on it. And a 2007 Mikuni carb on it. With the taper needle in it that's the key. If you have the TMX carb you need to change the dump tube from a number 9 to a number 7 with that 2007 tapered needle for that carb and that makes it way better
