Replaced the lines for my aux tank during the off season. Had hell with the bike randomly dying. A few things I have figured out so far. Double slash cut the end of the line that goes into the aux tank. I've had mine stick to the bottom and sides with a flat cut and a single slash cut. Aux tank should be as high as possible, and the line as low as possible to aid flow (i.e. overcoming gravity.) I'm considering putting a check valve near the end of the line that goes into the aux tank, in an effort to always keep fuel in the auxmain line.

Thanks for video. The Joseph Merrick "elephant man" style slurping didn't bother me. Just picked up one them tanks at garage sale for a fiver. Nice maicos.

I could have used those on the 84 rm250 I had. it drank gas like it was free. I pushed that bike Everytime I rode it. either broke a chain, swing arm bolt or ran out of gas .😂 I broke the entire expansion chamber off on a flat landing once . don't think my hearing ever recoverd . it was like standing over a full auto 378 weatherby mag with no ear protection all the way home.😂

They are pretty good especially when there's no oversize tank available. Haha ya you had some fun on that bike

On the blue bike to make the gas line stay in you should cut a peace of rubber that fits good into the gas cap and then put the hose threw it so it takes up the entire open area on the gas cap. Or drill a hole in a wine cork and put the line threw it and shove it in the gas cap.

Also need a clip that can sink into the top of the cap, the clip that's on there won't. I wish the nipple on the cap stuck out of the top and not in, would have made this a lot easier.

Kilty007 That is the reason why he is breathing so hard and I'll never say something about that but slurping is a thing you do because you are used to it!
