So, instead of spending a half-hour washing/cleaning my own house, I just spent a half-hour watching somebody I don’t know cleaning the home of somebody else I don’t know, and I feel perfectly satisfied.
HI Sid. I've just been round to my next door neighbours and cleaned out his porch gutter (late birthday present, he was 92 yesterday). Thanks for the inspiration from you and Ben at Flawless cleaning.
And if the owners couldn't see the cracks, then they wouldn't know that it's damaged and in need of repair/replacement. In the long run, this helps them in multiple ways~
I thought that was a fence with an interesting stain job at first. 😂 It’s good that you did that bit off the lane, even if it shows the cracks. That dirt would have turned into slime in rain. It was a slip hazard.
I also thought it was stain or paint even though that green would not have been my favorite color. My house has a cement walk that was built after an original patio and it has wood in the expansion joints to match the way patios were built in 1964. When a gang pressure washed the walk, the wood disintegrated. My neighbor laughed at the result but it's in the back garden so it's hidden from public view. Thank heavens. I hope your customer arrives at a good solution for the pointing that needs to be redone.
My hands are itching! I would love to trim some branches and bushes around that property 😃 and yes, the crack in the concrete, I believe it was okay to clean it. Maybe the residents didn't even know about it, so... Great results 💛⭐️💛⭐️💛👏👏👏👏👏
Great job, excellent before and after shots. I love how you go over and beyond the customer’s expectations, you didn’t need to do the walls or that fence but you hate leaving anything looking unfinished. This is why you are getting repeat business, clients know they are going to get exceptional service and a superb job. Keep it up Sid, you and your brother seem to be smashing it👍🇬🇧
Oh Sid they are so lucky to have hired you. You have the best business practices and do beautiful responsible work. And that fence OMG!! Thank you that was a pleasure to watch lol You guys are such hard workers. Thank you for glimpse of baby momma and your little one laughing,. They both are so pretty. I just love it. Oh and I like your music 😁
I can't even begin to thank Sid for his work, on those beautiful homes across the pond. The time he puts into editing videos. Exactly one year ago I couldn't stop watching your Chanel. It got me through a very hard time in my life. Many many great blessings your way
Oh yeah, I absolutely remember this house!! I LOVED the pink stones, did you ever find out if the grouting you washed/flaked off was a DIY job or if the homeowner had paid someone else to do it!? The fence was very satisfying, it was so perfectly mossy it looked as if it'd been painted! Not sure I've ever seen a fence quite so uniformly mossed up😆I also loved the way you said 'beep beep' to the window washers instead of actually beeping in a residential neighborhood😝Like they say, it's the thought that counts! Great job as usual, Sid!
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning Nice the owners were kind enough to throw some work at the little guys, too bad their walkway suffered for it I'm glad it came up so easy it's much brighter & more cheerful now!!
@@Lucinda_Jackson Meh, narrow roadway, tight houses could cause a louder beep than normal by trapping the sound.I'd hate to wake someone's toddler up mid naptime to some poor Mom getting a moment to herself...you know to fold laundry😆
. @PartridgeExteriorCleaning it could have been done to make it all flatter so the wheeled bins rolled more easily and quietly in that corner. Obviously the wrong mix was used, though it could've been there for some years, but it surely wasn't the same mix as the original. I've been thinking that you should've cleared it all out so they'd know what they needed to fix as it wasn't going to get any better over time. I do love the Indian sandstone - it is so gorgeous once cleaned up!
Hi Sid, that was excellent. The roof came up so well as did the patios. My fav part has to be the fences, ended up looking brand new. Nice to get a few moments with your daughter, she's super cute and looks so like her mum. Take care. PS. Congratulations on reaching 180k subs.
*The concrete with cracks outside that fence would become a slimey slip hazard if you hadn't waterblasted it. So it is good that you did it. Wow that wooden fence looks amazing now.*
I saw a video from Nick talking about pointing and he was talking about the inferior “new” ingredients used. Same problem! I would be like you and clean everything I saw LOL WOW on the fence! I thought it was paint!
Regarding the 20:11 minute mark where you asked about cleaning or not cleaning that part of the walk: I say yes. I'm glad you cleaned it. If you would have left it alone, there's the potential of slipping when it gets wet. Now that you have cleaned it, you're down to the stone. You may be able to see the cracks, but it will be safer when it rains.
Great job Sid, everything came up looking great. You know, I thought that the fence was painted yellow; I am glad that you were able to "blast" the moss off of it.
This channel always gives me the incentive, To do jobs, I’ve been putting off all winter, so I’ve paused the video, fixed my fence and clean the gutters😂👍
Love it!!! the customer needs to know what condition his walkways are in and when there covered in dirt it can't be seen. good job revealing this to them. daughter is so precious and cute. thanks for another calming video. so much stone surrounding the house. i live in western US and i have hardly any stone surrounding my house. so lucky you have much water, we are in a water crisis.
Hi Sid just watching your video. The pointing that came loose is called joint it. Its really good if done properly. I have it on my patio and never had a problem.
Legitimately, no exaggeration, if I had the excess money to do it, I would pay you to fly to the United States and come clean my house and roof. It's just a normal smallish house. It wouldn't even be worth being on your show. But I would still want to do it if I could afford it, because THAT is how much respect I have for you and your business.
20:44 hey dot beat yourself up about it. You really can’t control what it looks like under the dirt. Also clean with cracks is still better than nasty with slippery grime! Loved the video man!
I like all the cleaning but my favorite is anything wooden. Fences, decks, furniture. Seeing that green or gray blasted off and the true wood coming through, that's the best.
Thanks for caring for your customers. Hope they get the pointing done correctly. Beautiful job, and wow on the fence transform. Usually there's some indication that there is a different color under the green, never seen the green so uniform. Awesome transformation
Yes you should have cleaned that cracked bit. Now it's safer, and should they want to patch it the dirt is out of the way and a patch will stick better.
I this you did right by cleaning and showing the cracks. Cracks are better than dirt. I kept waiting for you to blasts the weeds in the cracks as well. I hate weeds in cracks. Blasting away the moss and the weeds are my favorite part of these videos😂
I think that cleaning stuff like the concrete with the crack. The old pointing is so much prettier! I vote for clean over dirty anytime! The walls are in a state also! I am in Utah USA and we try to get som moss to grow in gardens or paths and it just struggles, funny that!
I much preferred it when we got to see the whole cleaning in the time lapse. The cleaning is why we’re here. Seeing it from start to finish is much more satisfying.
As usual Sid great work. That fence, well I’ve never seen anything like it either. Looked so different. Thank you for letting us see one of you little beauties as she is a gem. Thank you. May you all please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩🤩
Looks fantastic. You always go the extra mile for your customers. At least the homeowner knows now that that slam of concrete is cracked. You have probably saved someone injuring them selfs. Did you find out who did the dodgy pointing? ❤
If you turn the hose reel through 90 degrees to face the door and pill the hose straight out and reel it back on, it won't kink, Same idea as a fire hose reel. Even put it on a swivel so as not to block the door. Just a thought.
I remember this house from a previous video. The walkway is such beautiful stone. Why would they put that type of compound over the pink? It ruined the aesthetic look of it. What did the owner say?. Watching you do the fence was so satisfying. Why is it that green?😂❤ Thanks for the upload. You do such amazing work. I love to see the transformations each time. Stay safe up and out there.
Sid the wild man how's it going? I have a little heads up for you. When you are cleaning gutters off of a ladder this is something you should consider doing. Go down to a steel fabricator in your area have them cut a piece of 1/2-in plate that is roughly 2 in by 3 in. Have them make sure that all of the corners are perfectly smooth so that there is no sharp spots anywhere drill a hole in it and add a piece of 3/8 round stock rod and then have them weld it the two pieces together. I have one of those I made myself so now when I get up and do my gutters the actual piece of metal is generic or universal it does not fit any specific gutter but it will fit into most gutters. So now while you're standing on your ladder you could reach out six or more feet on either side of you and pull the material in the gutter towards you. Much faster and much safer than leaning off of a ladder especially at the height you're doing it. If you wanted to you can even buy a can of that rubber coat stuff that you dip your tools in so you have soft plastic wrapped around it I don't know if they call it but it's available and you can dip that entire head in that plastic or rubber to guarantee not to scratch the gutters. It sounds long winded the way that I'm saying it but actually doing it it's super quick I love mine and you'll love yours you can make a couple of them there cheap. Peace
Doing the extras is what sets you apart from others- it is why you have a waiting list, people will wait for the best! PS- I would do anything to have all that Moss Goop for my garden!
Love the transformation. Whenever I see shrubbery or trees that need cutting, I always wonder why the owners didn't have that taken care of before the pressure washing? Looking good.
I find reeling the hose with it full of pressure keeps it from kinking and rolls up so much easier. Especially once you've got the whole thing rolled out, and it'll give you a chance to get it straightened out.
Good job, big job. So glad you decided to do the wall, that makes it look finished! I read all the comments, still confused, was the fence painted green? 😀😁💙
I this you did right by cleaning and showing the cracks. Cracks are better than dirt. I kept waiting for you to blasts the weeds in the cracks as well. I hate weeds in cracks. Blasting away the moss and the weeds are my favorite part of these videos😂
Great video. In my experience, wooden fence likw that would still be green a bit when it dries. You have to kill it off with some chemicals first and then repeat it once again after few days and complete drying.
the professional outrage you express is always so fun to me, especially when half of it is directed at aesthetics. Because you are absolutely right, slathering beige sand on such lovely pointing IS a crime, even ignoring the fact that those weren't even the bits that needed repair. I hope the owners got their money back, either from the company that did it for them or the supplier who sold them such shitty product.
I have a bit of wooden fencing that grew algae or something, or mildew, or both; it had an organic stench that was pretty off-putting. Instead of just power washing I murdered it with chems first and got all the green off, and then I cleaned off that stuff after some days. Then I hit the wood with the same chems, and it's acting as a prevention for more growth. Not sure just power washing it off is the way.
You’ve a great channel, I’m TH-camr in Ireland myself and I understand the amount of work that goes into filming and editing. Good video, very similar to the last roof clean i did, even though cleaning a roof by myself is hard I enjoy the process. I love seeing the contrast of dirt to clean and then showing the customer the end result. But im enjoying running my business even though its month 6 but it feels like im picking up traction know but in expecting a slow down. Keep up the vids I don’t get much opportunity to watch these days but when i do it’s always a pleasure.
This video left cliff hangers? Did you speak to the owner about the pointing - were they ripped off? We didn't get the satisfaction of the finished amazing fluorescent green fence - nature is awesome. Great job 👏
Im early for once, i love watching your videos

This was so kind of you.
It doesn't matter about the cracks. By cleaning off the dirt, you made it less slick and therefore safer. 👌
And if the owners couldn't see the cracks, then they wouldn't know that it's damaged and in need of repair/replacement. In the long run, this helps them in multiple ways~
It was definitely worth doing. 😊
Absolutely agreed with both your points. Better for it to be clean and for them to be aware.
I thought that was a fence with an interesting stain job at first. 😂 It’s good that you did that bit off the lane, even if it shows the cracks. That dirt would have turned into slime in rain. It was a slip hazard.

The cracks on the concrete are going to be there regardless whether you clean it or not, I say just clean it... Amazing job as usual Sid
Agree. Clean is likely to be less slippery in the wet and being able to see any uneven or cracked surface is also safer.
I can't even begin to thank Sid for his work, on those beautiful homes across the pond. The time he puts into editing videos. Exactly one year ago I couldn't stop watching your Chanel. It got me through a very hard time in my life. Many many great blessings your way
Sid & Brad you both Smashed It! You made the roofs and paving clean and safe for the owners. Amazing as Always!

Peace
Best state for a fence to be-in if you're in the business of making slow motion video ;)
I thought the fence was painted. Wow! That was a huge transformation. The roof came out beautifully.
Doing the extras is what sets you apart from others- it is why you have a waiting list, people will wait for the best!
PS- I would do anything to have all that Moss Goop for my garden!
Another great Sid vid! Great work, you guys. Would be interested to hear the outcome of the dodgy pointing situation.
Love the transformation. Whenever I see shrubbery or trees that need cutting, I always wonder why the owners didn't have that taken care of before the pressure washing?
I always try to have everything picked up and tidied before anyone comes to do a job, even if I can do only a little bit everyday, its easier to do a job when some prep and tidy has been done.
Looking good.
the perspective at 13:21 made me think the house was super tiny all of a sudden it was super confusing hahaha
I thought that was paint on the fence! amazing!
I find reeling the hose with it full of pressure keeps it from kinking and rolls up so much easier. Especially once you've got the whole thing rolled out, and it'll give you a chance to get it straightened out.
It looks better even though its cracked! Great job!
Another good job. Shame the neighbour next door doesnt cut his trees down to stop them covering your clients roof.
