    Why have a hot tub if your not using it for 10 then 4 years at a time? Seems like pointless money to waste

      Something tells me they bought the house with the hot tub already there. As nice as the pad around it is, doesn't look like the kind of people paid for it that would only have it cleaned twice in 14 years. The house itself is also dirty and in need of a scrubbing.

      I know. Utterly filthy and left like that. Mould and crap everywhere. I could expect it if it was switched off and abandoned. But it was running on tick over! I bet in a few weeks it will look just as messy, some people are utter filthy trolls and just plain lazy. They could have got a pressure washer out, drained it and cleaned it easily enough, some pool cleaner and a bit of scrubbing and it would be done. If they cant manage that they should not have one of these things....

    • @QueenMotherTroll
      @QueenMotherTroll 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I mean I'm assuming they just bought the house.... And I'm also assuming you don't know how much it cost to run and maintain a hot tub either.

    • @Simon-xc5oy
      @Simon-xc5oy 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @@QueenMotherTroll Well it will cost to keep it heated. And if you are not going to use it over winter or whatever, the sensible thing to do would be to drain it out totally, cover it and keep it switched off. Thus saving energy and not letting it fill up with leaves, crap and nasties! If you buy the house and its out there and you dont want to use it or dont use it much, then sell it on! Its common sense, which seems to have gone out of the window altogether these days in the Uk.

    • @Simon-xc5oy
      @Simon-xc5oy 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@SpyricaDragoste Yes I totally agree with you. And that then also shows exactly what sort of a person you are. It reflects on you. So if you pay a lot for a big house, and lots of nice things, and then leave it to get messy, dirty and run down, it shows you are a lazy, slovenly person. And that you have no respect for those things, and so probably little for people as well. And that you are arrogant and have more money than you need, in order to allow stuff to get in such a state as you dont care enough and dont need to. In other words, you are more than likely an arrogant A hole. I have met plenty of people like that, and they all fit that exact description of their traits. And this hot tub is just another example. Any one who is remotely practical or has more than one brain cell would have had the common sense to empty it out and switch it off. If only to save on electric and money. So I stand by what I said above. And paying someone to do a simple job like draining it, hosing it out and a bit of cleaning is just so lazy it sickens me....I am older than the two lads in this video, and I could and would have done that job with ease, if only to ensure I did not have a vat of bacteria sitting in my garden! Truly incredibly stupid....

    Easy I used to work for a hot tub company and to start of with just blast it with a pressure washer as it gets drained and then flush it all through then fill it up and check everything is working from electronic parts and water flow, bin them filters they are knackered, the head cushions and tub cover eventually perish due to chemical damage, heater is probably a 2kw or 3kw two to three pump system maybe even a blower, then if all is good start treatment with chemical's adjusting the pH plus and pH minus and chlorine if of course it's chlorine being used. You can definitely tell if a customer looks after and uses their tub 😁😁😁😁
