Great job! A little suggestion. Always position the wheelbarrow in the direction you are going before filling it up. Saves you some energy when you don't have to turn with it full.
It is a typical Dutch model of snow scraper, it is called a “sneeuwschuiver”. I will have look for that particular model on the websites of our typical garden center, farm supply and DIY shops.
It seems much more reinforced than snow shovels I’ve seen here in New England nowadays. I’d also pay the extra to get a snow shovel that will last 10+ years.
Looks like an aluminium front edge with a formed plywood with a big steel or tin(?) plate with some big U-bolts and the handle is shaped to fit the scoop 😍

haha i was literally so overwhelmed - took about 10 minutes to scrape the first little section in the top corner and I did the maths in my head and thought oh no what have I done!! 3 days later we did it :D

With a new fence it could look stunning, but they’d need to get their AmEx out . . . You should get an air compressor kit for your car, if you don't already have one (replying to your comment about a flat wheelbarrow tyre). My dad's got one and it's incredibly easy to use. Just plug it into the tobacco lighter (if you have one) thing on the dash board and that's it. Costs like 25€ so maybe like 20 pounds? The price is the part which blew my mind the most, so cheap yet so useful.
The wooden snow scrapers are ideal. Used then here in Germany for years. Tip: remove the front metal edge and with use they'll curve slightly to become more plough like. Plus they are a lot quieter
22:14 shout out from Germany here. They are quite common over here, we have one, they’re called holz-schneeschieber (wooden-snow slider, direct translation). You can pick on up from from the B&Q equivalent for 30-50€. Loved your videos this year, have a good Christmas 🎄🎅🏻

This is an incredible video! As someone who works on the ground itself, in every way shape and form - I think you did this the most manual and physically demanding way possible. What an incredible work ethic, and you are clearly in excellent physical health, with strong lung capacity and high testosterone to maintain the endurance to do this; and have each motion be a productive one. Wow. I thought you were working at a garden. With growth like that. I honest to god thought you were pulling my leg. Then I watched the video. At times in various stages of disbelief and shock. Your worth ethic and willingness to getit done is truly next level. Most guys I know would want a full crew or wouldn't do it period.
Well, you are proving it could be done/improved. I would agree with people noting that you would reduce a lot of wear-and-tear by pointing the wheelbarrow where you intend to go...before loading. Liked that you thought of moving a lot of leaves off with a leaf blower. Really enjoying you trying different techniques to work your way through the process. 12:29 is just about a Grime Line, after working through layers of material. That was a huge improvement with the court area. The organic material/dirt result may work in planting beds. A worthwhile experiment, considering moss seems to be a regular "crop" where you are, and leaves an available source of mulch. As the design of the place is re-appearing, now I'm interested in what the stone wall would look like power washed (or biocided). Wishing you all a good Christmas Season and New Year.
Hi Sid, get some Redex from halfords - the full system cleaner and stick it in before you fill up next. its likely your injectors are full of carbon. If you have a DPF on the van, get the DPF cleaner. Will sort it out.

Well done. Moss can be a devil of a job to remove and thrives in the British wet climate. It is also very heavy as it soaks in the water. I have a very big block paved area. Last year I let the moss get the better of it. The vast amount of moss waste with which I was left was amazing. This year I have kept the moss away with pressure hosing, leaf blower and weed killer.

The sheer quantity of moss and leaf litter removed and shifted for planters is mind boggling. At least it ought to compost well. Pick a version of _Sixteen Tons_ to play and please take a day to relax after all that madness, Sid!
Looks great Sid. The problem with the van could be to do with a blocked DPF filter. Take the van for a drive for about 30 mins on the motorway keeping revs between 2000-2500 RPM. Make sure the van has more than 1/4 of a tank of fuel.
Lol I love it! It reminds me of the time I was like 15 and my dad paid me $1 for each wheelbarrow of cow manure I dug out of one of our sheds. And the wheelbarrow was a big one! But in a week I made enough money to buy a new game I wanted and I was beyond thrilled for the oppurtunity of work!
Jobs like this you'd benefit from a little lawn tractor that can tow a trailer, or a mini dumper. Would be a really good bit of kit for more heavy duty cleans like this. Awesome work.

It is very painstakingly slow to finish shovelling a 100 foot long by 12 feet wide driveway. I feel your pain. But, you did it! Well, you are proving it could be done/improved. I would agree with people noting that you would reduce a lot of wear-and-tear by pointing the wheelbarrow where you intend to go...before loading. Liked that you thought of moving a lot of leaves off with a leaf blower. Really enjoying you trying different techniques to work your way through the process. 12:29 is just about a Grime Line, after working through layers of material. That was a huge improvement with the court area. The organic material/dirt result may work in planting beds. A worthwhile experiment, considering moss seems to be a regular "crop" where you are, and leaves an available source of mulch. As the design of the place is re-appearing, now I'm interested in what the stone wall would look like power washed (or biocided). Wishing you all a good Christmas Season and New Year.

Hi Sid, get some Redex from halfords - the full system cleaner and stick it in before you fill up next. its likely your injectors are full of carbon. If you have a DPF on the van, get the DPF cleaner. Will sort it out.
I've had lights come on and it's just that the petrol cap was loose. it's an easy fix if that's it. :-)

Well done. Moss can be a devil of a job to remove and thrives in the British wet climate. It is also very heavy as it soaks in the water. I have a very big block paved area. Last year I let the moss get the better of it. The vast amount of moss waste with which I was left was amazing. This year I have kept the moss away with pressure hosing, leaf blower and weed killer.

Looks great Sid. The problem with the van could be to do with a blocked DPF filter. Take the van for a drive for about 30 mins on the motorway keeping revs between 2000-2500 RPM. Make sure the van has more than 1/4 of a tank of fuel.

Lol I love it! It reminds me of the time I was like 15 and my dad paid me $1 for each wheelbarrow of cow manure I dug out of one of our sheds. And the wheelbarrow was a big one! But in a week I made enough money to buy a new game I wanted and I was beyond thrilled for the oppurtunity of work!

Jobs like this you'd benefit from a little lawn tractor that can tow a trailer, or a mini dumper. Would be a really good bit of kit for more heavy duty cleans like this. Awesome work.

It is very painstakingly slow to finish shovelling a 100 foot long by 12 feet wide driveway. I feel your pain. But, you did it!
