Del talking about mum while sitting there at Margate. It reminds me of my mother and the times we visited the resort often during the summer holidays during the 70s. I love this show because it's so comical but takes me back to great times.❤
You fail to realise this episode is over 1 hour long(when I watch this episode on my TV through my DVD Player I press the DISPLAY button on the Remote Control which shows the duration of any DVD I put on)
One minute in and I just realised this is the same bloke who did Frost some years later, I've been binging it on Tubi, it's fantastic. 2:20 "Eels on Wheels", that's gold.
It would be great to be a teen again just discovering OFAH. I remember in the late 90s when I was 15 just getting in to it and renting tapes of it from the video shop. Then a mate of mine lent me the last 3 episodes were they become millionaire's which he had taped off the telly.... Lovely jubbly.
I have parts off of the Plaxton paramount 3200 that you can see behind del boy when Rodney is in the phone box, I new the owner of the coach 👌🏻 I got some good parts off of it before it was layer scraped
That's lovely I feel the same but he reminds me of my grandad so much, that's how I got to watch and become obsessed with OFAH, he had them recorded on videos disguised as books haha but my grandad had the cap, cigar, he was a londoner, and used the sayings
DEL: It's good here, innit eh? BOYCIE: Stunning. DEL: Yeah, they got a magician, a singer and a comedian. The singer'll be on in a minute! The singer sings a few more words then reacts to Del's line and continues singing.
Did you notice when he says 'television' in the first scene 2:39 he actually looks, very briefly, at the camera? Just a sly glance... Just a sly way of acknowledging he's on TV...
@@cheetahpanther1306 I agree with you. The best thing about this series is the brilliant balance between big obvious laughs and the quiet moments of pathos.
Always wondered if that first scene with Del and Rodney was green screened or recorded in front of a false background. Something about it looks slightly fake, and notice their hair isn’t blowing at all despite them being on the coast!
Well you can tell it was never filmed to be set on an August bank holiday Monday, even though that’s when it’s supposed to be set at it gets dark far to early
9:12 - We later find out she also has parents. She mentions her brother whom she's had no contact with for years as her only family, yet she also has parents whom she hasn't seen for years.
Have you actually watched the jolly boys outing? You've missed the best bits from Rodney kicking the football at the copper's head& getting nicked&the great Raymondo slap(and the hotel search, amusements, trigger, coach blowing up, driver drunk, uncle Albert and Sids meet in the war)in fact it's the worse greatest compilation of one of the greatest specials.....yes these are funny ish but....🤔
It's a real shame the BBC lost its way, now it's too busy ticking woke boxes and pushing political left wing agenda that this kind of comedy genius remains in the history section.

I agree, love when they are all just enjoying themselves as mates at the seaside when they all run into the sea & back in a race & del cheats 😂 enjoying themselves on the rides etc Reminds me of when me & my guys Iv known since teens just have some days or nights throughout the year where we just get together & enjoy ourselves without girls, like we were that age again, being silly, even though most of us are in our late 20s early 30s.
"one night it was so cold the flame on my lighter froze" 🤣

One of the greatest lines in comedy history!!!!
My favourite line in the whole series. 2nd favourite is Who's there, knock knock. 😂
1989 looked such a happier time. You can tell the cast had a blast filming this one.
Just made same comments lol

The first scene in this video always brings a tear to my dad’s eye. He loved this show because it was so funny but so emotional
This is my comfort show! Anytime I'm sick or feeling low I can always watch this over and over and always smile 🤜❤️🤛
Yeah me to. Particularly Jolly’s boys outing to the 96 Christmas specials. Those episodes are just top notch.

The 90s was the best era for everything,it had the best of both worlds. 😊
Totally agree with you 👍 damn I miss the 90s
Even though this is from the 1980s
Uncle Albert to Micky Pearce 'get out you noisy little git' makes me laugh everytime 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is my favorite Only Fools and Horses episode
While “Miami Twice” is the worst
I always love these clips cos it reminds me of watching the episodes on GOLD with me grandad as a kid. The best sitcom in history

That was a very uplifting trip down memory lane... Almost forgot how brilliant those characters were.... are
Happier times when filmed.
That very last bit with Del Boy eating his toast cracks me up
One of the best shows ever done
I ❤'d the 80's & early 90's the world was such a better place 👍😊
I live in Margate and saw them film quite a bit of this
I was in margate the other day sad to see dreamland how it is now.
wow. Such great times.
It's the definitive episode isn't it? Of all the great eps, this has to be greatest. Nostalgia overload.
My absolute favorite episode.
Rodney gets arrested later kicked out, the coach blew up, they missed the last bus home. To make matter worse Trigger lost his blow up Dolphin.
It was so cold, the flame on me lighter froze😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Strangely the first 4 minutes of this clip is normally the only part of the whole episode that i fast forward.
Yep the dullest part of the episode
Well they have to set the scene somehow
