Met John Challis a few years back and he was one of the most kindest and down to earth person you could ever meet and was very witty. As i walked over to where he was i said i thought i could smell onions and typical boycie style he said oh dear we got a comedian in the building and after that we both laughed and shook hands. Had a lovely chat with him and asked him about the poker episode and was real money used, he said it was and at the end of the recording some of it had gone missing but was found above on one of the studio lights, asked who he thinks put it there and he believe John Sullivan did.

    Some other Boycie highlights:
    'Hello your minicab's arrived Albert'
'Good god you smell like a vegetarian's fart!'
'For gawd's sake Marlene! I might be able to con people into buying my cars, I might be able to convince them that you conceived and gave birth in seven days' flat, but how the hell am I gonna persuade em my granddad was Louis Armstrong!'

Trigger's broom story, and Rodney's question about it, is a reworking of The Ship of Theseus Paradox:
"In its original formulation, the 'Ship of Theseus' paradox concerns a debate over whether or not a ship that had all of its components replaced one by one would remain the same ship."
