I’m a Catholic who’s smoked cigars since 2012. Glad so many Catholics are fellow cigar aficionados.
Dude I'm 13 turned catholic as of 4 months ago im very glad to hear I can smoke cigars when I'm 18.
I started smoking cigars shortly before I rejoined the church. Maybe there's something divine in the tobacco leaves.

I'm catholic too but I'm in Ireland and was always used of priests smoking pipes or cigarettes but never cigars I had my first cigar about a half hour ago and as a pipe smokes I'm slightly ashamed to say that it probably beats pipe smoking.

Never thought I’d see a priest teaching us how to smoke cigars. Before I get attacked I’m aware the Catholic Church teaches anything excessive is a sin(food, drinking, and smoking for example) and I whole heartedly believe that but it’s just strange to me seeing a priest showing us how to smoke a cigar😂

I'm a pipe smoker and I had my first cigar about half an hour ago. It's only 4" long it was a grand cru number 5 cigar. I bit the end off which was fine and lit it with my pipe lighter only thing wrong it was slightly uneven but the smoke both tast and smell wow it was beautiful, I don't usually like the smell of cigars which actually put me off trying them before but this was lovely and the flavour was delicious first like caramel then like fruit sweets couldn't believe cigars could have flavour like that and the smoke was lovely and smooth. If I'd started smoking cigars at the time I started smoking the pipe I'd probably have deserted the pipe, but I love my pipes now and am only going to smoke cigars as a special treat, birthday in July and Christmas and easter. As a born Irish man I'll be smoking my pipe on st Patrick's day because that's compulsory for an Irishman.

Hello Matt. Speaking of cigars I can't help but share this. Please indulge me for a moment.
I came to the Lord about 45 years ago. And since that time I have been a member of about seven different Christian congregations. Not because I was always changing churches, but because of changes of residence.
Anyhow, to the point. In all of these churches of which I have been a member, I have never heard a preaching or a teaching against tobacco. Not even one single time in all these years. I suppose the reason is that it was never necessary. This is the thing. I have almost never known of anyone in any of those churches who smoked. I'm talking about 99% of the members. And if they did when they joined they promptly left their habit. I'm dead serious. I've always marveled at that because I know that nicotine is one of the most addictive substances known to man. That's got to be a demonstration of the power and mercy of the Lord God Almighty. It's the only thing I can figure. It's a miracle.

Hey we arent mormons, we can use a little tobacco. I encourage any doubters to ask their priests about occasional tobacco use and be utterly surprised that it ISNT A SIN. I wholeheartedly discourage cigarettes made by big tobacco though

Porn is an abominable thing. It degrades women, perverts men. The women involved are sometimes abused and victims of sex trafficking, nothing but pure evil lies in pornography. Cigars on the other hand contain nothing but 100% tobacco made by God. Wine is made from grapes which were given by God and is even mentioned in the Bible. In moderation not excess they are to be enjoyed and can be, not like pornography. They aren’t even in the same league, your comment is actually quite ridiculous.
