I’m sitting on my porch smoking a cigar and feeling stressed about the craziness in our country right now, and I stumble across this channel. I finish the first video, immediately subscribe, and look at a second video. I give it a thumbs up and then, after another puff on my cigar, realize that I have completely forgotten that I was stressed 20 minutes ago. This country needs a lot more people with this laid back view of life. Thank you sir for saving part of my afternoon, and more in the future. Now, I will slowly finish my cigar

I'll never forget when I first started in cigars I had a $25 cigar (which was the most exspensive one I had bought at the time). I thought was going to be the best in the world and when I finally had it it was gross......some of the best cigars I've had have been $5. Price isn't everything and I've applied that to life

I worked in Iraq for 6 years during the war as a contractor and continued my work in Afghanistan for another 12 years till it ended. Everywhere I traveled, I brought some cigars with me. After a long stressful day, I and my fellow contractors would sit around a picnic table and smoke cigars and talk about our day, talk about home, talk about anything.. it gave us a chance to wind down. I am still living and working in the Middle East and once a week I and my buddies get together and have a nice Dominican or Cuban cigar and catch up. Smoking cigars is more than just smoking.. it's a "moment" that only those who have experienced it can understand.

We would smoke a good cigar after been out in the field when we can. I took a bunch with me, naturally they didnt last very long. I like this guy alot, i am retired now and i just like to ride horses and smoke good cigars. anyway i thought i would say hello, i dont hear from contractors alot on here.

I am Canadian, I don’t smoke cigars and I don’t have horses but I got snagged and can’t stop listening to this amazing soul of a cowboy. I don’t even really know how I found him and his channel. I think TH-cam put him in my feed because I was researching anything I could fond about border collies and stick dogs. I thought o was going to hear something new about border collies and I get an amazing talk about the world at large and how you can’t change a donkey because it’s in his nature. Now I’m hooked! I even share a few talks on my fb page. I don’t usually get any response and my followers probably think I’ve finally gone mad, lol! I lost my wife last Aug to cancer and with her health decline I lost just a about everything I owned. I now am living in a trailer on a little piece of land trying to prepare for the harsh winters that we get here in Ontario just below Algonquin park. I find that listening to one of these talks each morning to start my day while I roast and drink my coffee is so very grounding and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for being you in the world and thank you for sharing your wisdom. It has helped me quite a lot!🙏😊

@@akuthelazy7342 oh yeah I’ve had that happen before, tar buildup is no fun! Well said. Long time cigar smoker here. Being truthful all cigars regardless of quality really tap out at 20 dollars. Meaning if you are smoking a cigar that isn’t vintage( meaning aged in a humidor for years) that costs more than 20 dollars you honestly are just paying for the name. My personal preference of price is anywhere from 3 dollars to 8 dollars a cigar (online prices by the box prices) and in brick and mortar? 5 to 12 dollars a cigar. There are some of my absolute favorites that are 15 to 20 but I save those for special occasions as I can’t afford cigars at that price as a daily smoke.
Price point vs Quality? My personal favorite brand is Perdomo cigars. Fantastic cigars that are affordable to me.

Hello Dwayne, let me start off by saying I really enjoy your channel there is a lot of wisdom to be found in your videos. I have an uncle who owns a couple of plow horses that can be ridden also so my wife and I enjoy taking them out on the property but we are both definitely novice and the horses seem to know that so they treat us with kid gloves they are that gentle. I too enjoy a good Maduro cigar and a pipe. I watched the video you made in your Suburban about your favorite books and you mentioned mixing Lane 1-Q with Kentucky Dark Fired. I enjoy both those blends so I thought I'd give them a mix and it turned out to be a very good smoke so thank you for that tip even if it wasn't meant to be one. I've rambled long enough so God Bless you and yours and keep up the great content. Thanks much.

I had a friend who had a relative from Cuba coming for a visit and he brought me a box of Partagus cigars from Havana. They were incredible. I got them for $100 for the box. They were so soft and moist. Wish I could get another box.

Good cigar advice. JR Tobacco carries Rosa Cuba in various sizes that I really like as a everyday working cigar. With shipping, bundles of 20 were in low $40 range last time I purchased some which has been a while.

I feel like I’m every video you put up there is always a lesson I can take outside of the exact topic you are speaking on. Here I see that quality isn’t just about a price it’s about quality itself and it can be any price. Price is not guarantee of quality and enjoying what you find to be the best regardless of price is important. It applies to a lot. Thanks for help today Dewayne!

Sitting on my patio smoking a Gurkha which I find a bit spicy for my usual taste, but very enjoyable. While I have my own supply, my brother in law gave me this one as a gift. A true gift because it gives me a nice little break from a diy project of mine. What I’m trying to say is that your video is so very timely! Thank you Duane!

I get Factory Smoke for when I'm doing yard work. When I want to sit on my porch and just chill, I like to try different sticks but my go to is usually La Gloria Cubana Medio Tiempo. Only been smoking for two years. So I have a lot to learn and a lot of sticks to try out.

I've only ever smoked a cigar twice. The first one was at a wedding. Took me 6 hours to smoke it but I really enjoyed it.
The second time was at an evening with some University friends. IT was our last evening together, so we decided to have a fancy diner all dressed up, then go to the pub and have ourselves a brandy and a cigar. Great night. Both experiences really made me appreciate cigars.
It's not something I do with any kind of regularity but I discovered some E-cigars (from XVXvape) and bought one, it really brought back some memories of those times.

Great episode. Most of my favorite cigars range between $7 - $12 per stick. I tried a $25 cigar or two and they taste like dog turd to me, but to each their own. It’s the same thing with beer, wine or liquor, more expensive doesn’t always mean better.

Great stuff, started smoking in my late 30's and on average, I smoke a lot of Oliva cant be beat for $4-10 a stick. Enjoyment is key and more importantly the people around you. Friendship, Bonds, Laughs, and New Friends is what drew me in. Great substitute when I stopped drinking. God Bless my friend and keep up the great content. You find yourself in CA, would love to smoke with you.

Fresh cigars that are stored at the correct temperature and humidity are key regardless of price. Shops that have fast turnover and a good humidor makes a huge difference. A cute, dark skin check-out girl makes the experience even better
