Speaking to someone at the Steam Packet yesterday, the aim is to start using the terminal "in the next 2 to 3 weeks". I noticed they haven't corrected the spellings on the walkway fenceposts, Herculaneum missing the second "e" and Harrington wrongly called Warrington
Tuesday 30th April and Wednesday 1st May, Manannan arrives Pier Head 0835 and berthing at new terminal 1020. Not in passenger service. Manannan then returns empty to Douglas for usual afternoon/evening Liverpool round trip.
The Manannan has been in at keast once in the last week or so - was on a midweek morning - empty - purpose was for training as each master has to have at least one (maybe) more berthing without passengers before that master can use the new teryin passenger service.
Still looks very compact considering that Artics will be Roll on Roll off, Can't see all the Bikers fitting in the Terminal at TT time, but there's plenty on room for back up parking on the approach to the ferry. nice one Nick.
Hello Mr Drone, So nice that you came back for an update of the terminal. What a shame you were unable to capture the 33ft high tide the other week. It would be very interesting to see how the pontoon copes on a very high tide. I saw video with the water overlapping the sea wall at the Pier Head on this high tide. With very high tides, you get extremly low water tides (when the Mersey Ferry can not dock at the Liverpool Landing stage). I wonder if that will be the same at this new terminal for the I-O-M ferry. Thank you very much for all your videos. All the best. Spoolbox..
Great Video. I was on the Mersey Ferry yesterday looking at the Cruise Liner, and I noticed how the sea wall looks very dirty. Hopefully this will be cleaned before the terminal fully opens.
@@misterdroneuk ok cheers nick, ill have a look..would it be possible to do a day time one sometime in the future or is there restrictions with it been an international port?
Brilliant video nick 👍🏼😊
Smart work all round. Thanks, Nick.
It would be good to see the "before & after", if you have time to set it up, please.
Well, externally, that looks finished.

Hi Nick. Great vids as always. It must only be the snag list to do. It looks finished.

The larger vehicles, trucks etc, generally sail from Heysham.
Arctics not planned for here except if there are serious problems at Heysham .
This will be public use only

Why? It will just get dirty when the tide comes in.
Mr Drone, can you do an in focus slow run down of all the names on the black posts on the walkway please on a future visit.
hi there nick, just a quick question-did you ever do a video on the seaforth docks area??
Hi Richard, I’ve done a night time video there

Looking good Nick👍
Are you planning to do a final time lapse on it & also attempt to get on the first ferry on day one of operation ⛴️
Cheers Dave C

A lot of the tarmac leaves a bit to be desired
