V8 Vauxhall VIva at Manfeild Park Raceway

A friend of mine, AK, commented on my last video, asking if it was possible to go off the circuit and crash in this game. So, let's have a race to answer his question.
I deliberately chose a car/track combo which doesn't work well for my driving style. I am very hard on the brakes, so a powerful car on a small, tight track meant that I was very likely to cook the brakes - which is indeed what ended up happening.

So you have to take care of your machine during the race as well as drive fast and carefully. If you abuse your car, it will break, and then you can't finish your race. Is that correct?
Also, I was curious if you only have first-person view when driving, or if you can steer from outside of the vehicle in 3rd person.

That is correct. The game allows for 3rd person view, but I've never been able to race that way.
