Thanks for the video! Very much enjoy playing *Pixies* on BoardGameArena that it could be as great as, or maybe better than, Sea Salt & Paper. Same designer as Faraway to boot. Here's hoping for availability in the states soon! *Cities* caught my eye late last year with very little detail other than being a collaboration between Phil Walker-Harding, Steve Finn and Devir Games-three hot and well-respected names in the tabletop industry. Looking forward to giving it a play fairly soon. :)
I believe Pixies is debuting at Gen Con! We’ve enjoyed it so much. Us too in regard to Cities, we saw the names and we’re so thrilled. So happy the game lived up to the hype!
@@kovray It's deck building and some dice chucking (without much mitigation), so if you don't mind the swingyness of the dice part of the combat, it is a pretty fun game. I especially like the IP, so I may be a little more forgiving of some of its flaws.
I haven’t heard of monsDRAWsidy but know of am so excited to get to play with my niece!! Also, I wish it were September, even though I don’t want to wish away my time, but my house should be built by September and I am hoping to get to move in the !! 😊
That’s so fair, especially with a huge milestone like that. Hope your summer still goes by quickly and filled with great memories. MonsDRAWsity is the BEST!
My favorite game of June was probably Next Station: Paris, I've been playing it on BGA and it is just such a fun and interesting puzzle to jump into! I also just tried a different city in the Next Station set and loved even the slight differences to mix it up a little, highly recommend!
Love both of your lists. I prefer Ilya's list a little though. Just bc I love Monsdrawsity. 😂 i really want to try Cities and Luthier. I hope to be able to do so this year. The game I enjoyed playing most in June was Dog Park. It's just a relaxing experience for me. AND I get to look at tons of cute dogs. Even though I will never not take the wire haired dachshund on a walk. Hound might be the least "valuable" breed... He's still mine.
@@boardgamequeens sure thing! I believe it’s mainly to keep the small pieces in place, duo layered board would probably do the same but it’s pretty fun to slide pieces and have them not lose their spot.
Thanks guys! We're very excited for the release of Cities.
We are too! I think it’ll be a big game for this year, there’s so much to love about it!
Whatever Bombyx is calling the small box, photo art lineup, I love it so far. Sea Salt & Paper and Pixies are both really fun.
10/10! I hope the series continues with many more mega hits!
Thanks for the video!

I've been playing Heat: Pedal to the Metal and G.I. Joe Deck-building game.
Ooo how’s the deck building game? We haven’t tried that yet, but we LOVE Heat!

Yay! We love MonsDRAWsity! We always make a point to play it once or twice a year!
It’s so much joy and laughs in a game!
YOU ARE BOTH AWESOME! ❤❤❤
You're the best!

Those games are simply stellar! Cant wait to try Paris, loved the other two!

Dog Park has such a great aesthetic! It truly feels like a walk in the park. Thanks so much for watching! 🥰
Did you get preview copies of Luthier and Gnome Hollow?
We did yes!
If you guys like the art of pixies you should look up artist David M Bird and his Becorn creations. Very similar.
Thanks for the recommendation! Will do for sure.
Can you tell me what’s the point of Gnome Hollow having magnetic boards? I’m not understanding it.
