I watched this review when looking into standing desks. Was put off by the woble but bought their 'flagship' E6 as it had 'improved stability'. Have to say, even at full height there's no give in it. Its rock solid. You should get in touch and see if they'll send you one to make amends.
I bought E7, so far my desk works fine 👍
And now theyre releasing a 4 legged one soon. I think that is exactly what I need for my 98" desktop. And being in europe I dont have the typical 4leg choices like Deskhaus in the US.

There are a lot of comments here that are beyond sus. Don't know many people who take the time to seek out reviews only to comment on the specific items the company has supposedly improved. Absolutely feels like the company's social team is making fake accounts to flood review videos with lies. Nice try.

Just received the Flexispot desk and it is good. No damage to anything whatsoever. Agree with you about sideways stability. The only thing I did not like is the holes missing for the controller fiiting on the wood. I had to carefully drill them myself. Nice review

You were so right! I ordered flexispot before seeing this and ending up sending it back. My desktop was damaged and I couldn’t reach anyone via phone and was so passed. I just can’t deal with bad service. Tried Uplift and omg 😱. Love love love. Super sturdy. Well made. Looks good. Better packaged. Overall better experience.

Thanks for this video! You are the only reviewer I could find talking about lateral wobble on the FlexiSpot frames! Apparently they've heard your criticism and updated the E7 (and E8) to being 3 stage poles that become smaller towards the top. Still not sure if I should get one or pay a bit more for the Uplift!

I bought a Flexispot E1B with single motor on Black Friday for 210€ and I can say it's a great product ... It's not even close to description in this video!
This desk is awesome for home use it's very sturdy and .... There was no damages or any flaws... quality is amazing!
The flexispot desk they have right now on amazon for 279$ is really good too, however i do understand the higher the desk is, the wobblier it gets
I just bought a Flexispot EC1 48'' × 30'' for $270 shipped. Maybe I'm just lucky, but the top isn't scuffed at all. Also, the pilot holes were already drilled. They also sent some 3m cable management loops. This seems to address most of the complaints from this video. Maybe they were listening to the reviews and improved over the last year. It is a great desk for the price.
@@billflu I just bought one, those issues aren't a problem - I have my own top -- my main concern is lateral stability - does it wobble back and forth like this?
Limping Ninja There is a little wobble, but no more than any other standing desk I’ve used. It’s not too different than a Knoll which costs much more.
Can I ask how tall you are? I know it gets more wobbly as the table goes higher as with any standing desk. I’m 5’8” and am curious how wobbly it is for my particular standing height.

Looks like they upgraded a lot through-out the years, the newer model I want to get EC5 support up to 220LBS with bamboo top and it's around $400 cheaper than a smaller upliftdesk

What model did you get?
I bought a Flexispot desk the other day and it seems they really improved their quality from when this video was made. It does not wobble at all and there were no factory defects.
Maybe the other brand is higher quality but for the one I got being almost half the price and still very solid I can't complain. Only time will tell how well it lasts, but I'm really happy with it so far.

So, I was about to pull the trigger on a Flexispot desk about a week ago. I'm in the market for a new desk and it needs to be a "standing" desk since I work from home and am an avid gamer. So I spend about 10+ hours a day at my PC.
This review completely changed my choice on what desk I was going to get. I was about to spend $550 on a E5 flexispot desk and after your review, I went with the UPLIFT instead. UPLIFT was more money, but the quality was the deciding factor.

I have a fully custom sit stand I absolutely love it. I lucked out on a lot of stuff I got and had to get creative here and there but in the end I got an amazing product and I promise you won’t find another one like it lol

Great review. Good lord, that out-of-box damage is absolutely barbaric. Even my IKEA Skarsta arrived in better condition than that, and it's only a 240 dollar manually-actuated sit-stand desk x-D
Like the honest feedback. Can you review the newer Kana Bamboo and Kana Bamboo pro? Seems like they addressed some of you complaints whiles still being a bit less expensive than the competition.
i bought one before this video. still works amazing and no real issues. the only problem i have is the desk height. at the lowest setting possible it’s still too tall. even with my chair raised to its max height. i’m 5’10 shmedium sized. i’m gonna chop the legs down and see what happens

@@na_k No issues here and No problem with wobble, my model is little more sturdy, and the one i got is not as wide (48x30)
i DONT have wheels on it which should also make it more stable.

Hey B, nice video, just put this together for my son. and I cannot get this desk level. if I put a glass on it would slid off. none of the pre-drill holes line up. I had to put 1" shims to level it. any ideas what went wrong?

Actiforce makes the best desk to assemble yourself. sturdy and good quality motors. they are not cheap but there solid AF
I am 6'5 and I use one everyday. Better for my health and my neck. Love mine! BTW , I got mine several years ago from Autonomous.
I hear good things about autonomous as well. Probably won't hit them up though, we have 7 desks in here lol

The basic 48x30 is only $300 on Amazon now. Personally I bought it before seeing the review and I'll stick with it just because of the price. The downsides definitely aren't ideal, but I think its a good tradeoff for those of us who want a starter sit stand desk. I'm also putting this right next to a cabinet so the side to side wobble shouldn't be as big an issue for me, especially with two monitors, a speaker, and various other objects helping weight it down.
I might just upgrade the table top a few years from now and upgrade the legs and motor with a better brand down the road. The nice thing about these is how incredibly flexible the systems are. Working from home my current desk is just too bulky without enough leg room and standing here and there would be a nice change of pace.

I bought the same one. The 3 stage is great because I’m 5’4 and it was impossible to find a desk brand that goes as low as I needed, 24”. The dual motor is so quiet and smooth. I don’t have a problem with wobbling at all. I really love this desk.
This might be for this particular model, I'm using the newest model they have and it has dual motors, the telescope legs are on the upper side and even with my heavy oak desk on it it is still very sturdy, even if I put a wider desk on it then for what it is rated for. cost me 350€ by the way

I know this is old BUT what would you say if the dual motor, 2 stage version (just the legs) was on sale for $150 like it is right now. Change your thoughts a bit or nah?
Lol, I’d tell you I bought a set of those legs at that price a couple weeks ago to put under one of my photo tables.
I go the latest revision of the FlexiSpot desk in Japan and it looks like they solved the movement problems and the noises, this thing is solid as a rock, silent, and it can lift up with a person sitting on it.
To be honest it's better than the 1k desks we had in the office (before having to WFH permanently :P).
My recommendation to anyone looking for a good quality desk is to get a Linnmon and Adils legs, and save your money for an Uplift.
I wish I could afford all of this stuff lol.

I literally almost said that exact thing in the review but I have no idea how much it costs to manufacture something like that. HAD that desk been $250, it would have been treated as a budget option and a much more positive review.
