Oh, the American Dream will continue to exist. It's just that whether or not it becomes a reality - now that's becoming more and more difficult as the US continues to degenerate and the rest of the world continues to de-Americanize.
nah,@@NauticalTurtle not exactly. i'm not going to say that....but a lot of his work said ((basically)) that, and a lot about the ills of modern capitalist society. he and John Zerzan were ahead of their time....even Derrick Jensen wrote "Welcome to the machine" about what we are now facing. a few of the "radicals on the fringe" were absolutely....not wrong. they were "not wrong" but they really needed to join forces to be "right." Toby Hemenway (or any permaculture practitioner) in the conversation, and we're joining the Belt and Road Initiative....to help save the planet and build Utopia. the Hopi prophecy has begun! I think the biggest issue we have in the U.S is a lack of respect for others beliefs. It almost feels like everyone wants everyone to believe in the same thing, and that anyone who says otherwise is a horrible person. We spend too much time denouncing eachother over what we believe in that it effects how we perceive our country.
I always heard right leaning people falsely accuse people of being commies for not agreeing with them but never to the extent I see left leaning people throwing the word fascist around. It is not only untrue, but deeply disrespectful to the many people who died under fascism (and communism).
America also has a sociopathic government that doesn't give a shit about the people, only profit. America is not even a country at this point, just 5 corporations. Soo many people can barely make connectioms because third places don't even exist at this point, not to mention they're too busy working asinine hours to the point of being too exhausted to even try connecting with people (hence the loneliness issue). Sure, America is not the WORST country. But there are still better countries
@@divamoosic Yeah this is something I'm leaning towards, if your poor you don't have a say in how the country works, if you're middle class good luck getting them to even listen to you, and if you're rich, make money talk, not words.
When the man in the wheelchair said that the amount of information creates the illusion of being informed a was positively stunned. That's a really wise thing to say
I guess that would depend on what they're protesting. Are we talking, 'Police Officers Should Stop Getting Away With Murder', in the country where police officers frequently get away with murder, Or, '[People of a certain religion] Will Not Replace [People of a different religion]', In a country with freedom of religion, and a separation of church and state? I'm going to need you to be more specific.
@@ThatTallBrendan Most protests accomplish nothing and usually cause more of a disturbance in the area. Picking up trash from the sidewalk is serving your community, not holding up cardboard and yelling at passersby.
@@tyresr Neither is unnecessarily kneeling somebody to death. Again, _I'm going to need you to be more specific._ Like you said, _"most".._ protests don't accomplish anything. Therefore, _some_ of them do. I don't think you're dumb enough to suggest that civil rights activists and suffragettes would've been better off *picking up garbage..* So I ask again, which are the protests that _you,_ *specifically,* take an issue with.
@@ThatTallBrendan I'll raise you your point. Clearly the protest against police brutality aren't working. I'm not against protest on face value, but they're only one part of the process, and some people seem to just enjoy saying they're involved as opposed to being involved
The woman in pink perfectly embodies what's wrong with gen z. She's one of the most privileged people in the world and says Gen Z has had it 'extremely hard'. This woman has honestly no idea what extremely hard means. And comes across as completely tone def. But that's what happens when all the information you read feeds into your pre-existing belief that the U.S is the worst place ever. These people have it MUCH better than most. It's just a complete lack of perspective.
Context is important. I presume she is talking about America rather than the entire world. She is also likely comparing her quality of life to her parents (who are likely to be Gen X), when all of the hallmarks of traditionally successful life (house, car, stable relationship, hobbies, vacation etc) were arguably on average easier to get. Especially housing and stable relationships. Wages have not kept up with house prices and using dating apps sucks, whatever gender you are. While it’s not good to let these feelings fester it’s also not good to dismiss them either.
@@pratosaurusrex1128 Yet all those things are only harder to achieve in the cities and surrounding areas. They'll bitch about $2000 RENT for the city and I pay $310 for my mortgage in the country. They want to live that high dollar life style in the high dollar areas but not want to pay for it.
@pratosaurusrex1128 no I get it. Some of her complaints are extremely valid especially when talking about how much harder it is to buy a home etc....but she said 'extremely hard'. Even for American standards she had it much easier than many if not most.
Bunch of spoiled brats. Complain about capitalism while they still buy buy buy all the starbucks Nike and latest iphone. Complain about racism when they view everything through a racist lens. Complain about fascism while they try to shut down and silence others. And then they can't even point out their own state on a map. Gen Z's brains are fried with information overload and they can't decipher simple basic natural facts or reality, like biology or math. Complete braindead NPCs. If America is so horrible, where is the mass exodus fleeing to other countries?? Makes zero sense. Just want to cry and play victim while they leach on the benefits.
@@rash9488 $310 a month mortgage? That’s great going! How long have you been a homeowner? Was the down payment a large % of your home value? Reason I ask all these questions is different circumstances have different outcomes. Some can’t get enough pay to save for the down payment because of rents and other costs, others have the down payment (or sometimes the whole property) gifted to them by their rich family. Also a slight aside as I know nothing of the US mortgage market (I’m U.K. based). Over here interest rates have gone up by 5% in 18 months, so a number of people have seen their repayments go up by $600 a month overnight.

When they said systemic racism and rights against trans kids were some of the biggest issues, they lost me. Systemic racism is often confused with individual racism. There are no factors holding me, a black man, from becoming a successful person in this country. There is no laws against what business and how I can start one. A lot of that rhetoric is exasperated through social media and honestly feels like a psyop to keep us divided and dumbed down. Trans kids issues may be a problem but to say they are a pivotal reason is insane. If anything, we should be focused on the “why” trans numbers have risen dramatically with Gen z. Mental health is a big factor of that but since it’s “wrong” to classify trans people as having a mental condition known as gender dysphoria they are becoming more enabled and I feel like a lot of them just really want acceptance from any group and transitioning is one of the easiest ways to acquire that.
As a Europian, I can confirm the gender politics are sneaking in here. Today a few interns had to ASK OUR 11, 12 AND 13 YEAR OLD STUDENTS. If they even felt like they were in the wrong body or that they were attracted to the opposite gender. This was pushed by their college and I refused to let my students fill in the questions. It's up to me as a teacher to make my students feel safe to think about what they want to think about. It's not for me to plant those ideas in their mind. Let kids be kids and discover the world. Let them come to me with questions when they have questions. Don't make them question themselves.... We are pushing too much...
Sneaking? Lol Germany is having full on pride parades, U.K has a vegan problem, politicians over there support abortion, liberalism has already poisoned Europe of a while, whatever the U.S thinks in terms of policies and politics, Europe copies. For anyone reading this, this is why many people from other countries watch our debates in the U.S, the elections in the U.S literally set the stage for what global politics will be.
They're just letting them know that they're valid if they do feel that. How dumb do you think kids are? When I was 11 I was sure that I was a boy, I knew about trans people, that didn't change that.
@@justyourfriendlyneighborho903 i seen a kid on the age of 12 starting eating shit in the store and got confused and started to cry because he had to pay for it, kids are not mentally able to think forthemself before the age of 16, dont try to make it allright, now just imaging if school started gathering all the kids and started asking them if they were gay or shit like that, the fking school would be in outrage,
Yeah sexuality definitely has no business on school grounds. I understand wanting to let them know it’s ok to be gay and such, because parents might be extremely closed about it, but it’s still not their job. Parents have the responsibility to deal with that.
Yeah but your one of them not all Edit: To the idiots that keep arguing with me for some reason: Just because he hasn’t experienced racism doesn’t mean other people haven’t. He’s ONE black male, out of the millions of black males out there. Just because one man hasn’t experienced racism, doesn’t mean the rest haven’t either.
@@miha_sa Yeah that's true, this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. I've seen a lot of black people killing each other. They're racist towards each other.
I am 20-year-old mixed race (Hispanic) male. Grew up in a military family with my dad ( Hispanic) who served for 20 years in the Marines. I love this country. and so does my dad. I have never experienced racism. In fact, my white friends have experienced more racism than me. Yes, we had our issues, yes, we have done terrible things as America. But these people hating on America, really are truly ignorant of how good they have it. They hate the values and rights America has handed them because they are taught that we are an evil nation, and yet they still use these rights every day without knowing it. I would challenge them to go to most other nations, and then tell me how racist the US is, how much it hates women, how cops behave towards civilians, etc... my dad saw these issues firsthand when fighting overeas, and America is nothing close to being a bad nation. Most of these issues that they bring up, only truly have a few examples to back them up, but the media blows the issue up and generalizes it for all of America... for example, the idea that cops are hunting down black men and gunning them down for no reason or locking them up for nothing. This is blatantly false. Do we have a crime and justice issue? Yes. Is the solution to create a race war, attack cops, and abolish the justice system? NO! I do agree with some of the answers though, that America has lost a lot of its good values, and is exporting a culture of ignorance and insanity to the rest of the world. the Trans "rights" issue and other social justice movements being an example. And yes, we do have a problem with massive corporations that are in bed with our big government, mandating things and manipulating things behind the general population's back. We have an issue with our education system, teaching children that mutilating their genitals, having abnormal sex, and taking hormone drugs is affirming. It is telling women that men who think they are women, can come in their bathrooms, harass and assault them, or take their trophies, and get away with it. THESE are the issues we face in America. The people who hate America, are fighting for the wrong causes. They are trying to take rights away, not give them. They are trying to censure and attack people, not include them.
My son sees this and that is why he is enlisting. He is sick of what he sees as disunity and degeneracy and just wants to serve his country in a positive way. Before anyone talks any "killer" garbage, most men and women who serve do so in logistics. It takes a giant system to keep the whole running and there is honor in serving his countrymen in whatever role he undertakes.
@@baz3575still doesn’t change the fact that many women get sexually assaulted in the military by other men in the military. The military is a breeding ground for abusers, rapists and racists. You’re clearly on some copium, when you’re willing to face reality I would advise you to read online about the actual statistics of rape and violence related to people who serve in the military. And rapists in the military never get punished and the cycle continues forever. Hope your son realizes what kind of mess he’s getting himself into, just make sure not to cry PTSD once he come out, because he should know what he’s getting himself into, no excuses.
You really have a talent for spotting the right people to talk to and opening them up. Whatever personal work you've done on yourself to earn this level of trust and respect from such a big diversity of people, it shines through!
They're just way too privileged and spoiled to realize how dog shit other countries are, id like to see them try living in India or Pakistan, as a gen z myself
I could listen to Red hair guy speak for hours. Seems so astute and informed. P.S the woman talking about not having her kids tested so they'd go to school with black kids accidentally exposed her bias, as if black people and Puerto Ricans can't test into better schools.
I was also shocked by the fact she wouldn't try to get her kids to the best school they can get into. Providing your children the best opportunities in life is one of, if not THE most important things a parent can do, and by the sounds of it she closed some doors of opportunity rather than opening them.
I think you misunderstand. It was a different world back then, and at that point in time systemic racism was well and truly in place. The implication isn't that they weren't intelligent enough to make it into these schools, simply that people of these backgrounds weren't 'allowed' in. I do agree that putting your own righteous causes above the education of your kids is not fighting the right fights.
I can sense how radical that woman is from how she talked from the beginning. Many radical left not comfortable to aim for the best options since it makes them guilty, evil or greedy. Also, most parents will shove down their belief to their child.
I’m a gen z first generation and my family is from a third world country. When I traveled to my home country I truly learned how blessed I am to be an American born citizen. It’s very different when you actually physically travel…you really digest how good you have it. Our every need is met here and there’s so many “basic” things I took for granted. Like sidewalks and efficient garbage disposal systems. Grocery stores and access to medicine like Advil. Man it’s just unbelievable how good we have it
This is exactly why people need to have more respect for America. Despite all of its problems, it is still a blessed land with many opportunities for everyone
I have an idea for you. Why don't you ask these American Gen Z if they would tolerate no electricity up to 12 hours a day? I'm a GenZ from South Africa, and power outages occur between 2 hours and 12 hours a day depending on the stage we're in. I'd like to see those Americans handle that. Some people on oxygen and kindney dialisis don't have access to electricity when they're in dire need. Electric fencing doesn't work. (We have a high crime rate) I'm lucky that I live in a safer area compared to most, but it's horrible for most in unsafe areas. Of course Americans their own problems, but it would be good for them to put themselves in others' shoes before hating their country. Thank you for your work. ❤️
Dumb comment. Just because somebody has it harder than you doesn't mean your issues are insignificant. And just because your country is better than most doesn't mean it's good enough or that you shouldn't dislike it. Fresh shit is better than cold shit but it's still shit
- Would Russia have given that Military guy back under any circumstance though? Seemed to me like that was always a no go and they were more just laughing that throwing back someone like a Basketball player, a lady one at that, that would get them their friend back. I get it sucks they can't get that guy back but I don't think it was ever on the table to get him.
I love America. I’ve travelled the world enough to know that: Americans are hyper lucky and even the worst off are better off than half the world, gratitude in abundance is a self-fulfilling prophecy, meaning, if there is gratitude that will extend to grateful people in power who will want to look after American people. But take a bunch of country hating people and put them into power, they will not have Americans best interests generally.
Yes but should we compare ourselves to other countries or look at ourselves and improve. Seeing people being driven to madness and having a job but no way to support themselves isn't something that Americans should tolerate. I demand more from communities but gen Z isn't stepping up to the plate and running for local government. That's their fault for not imposing their views within the law.
Because america enslave other countries by maintain demand for their dollar high so they can get everything from other countries cheap. America's foreign policy is dirty. The rest of the world need to suffer from pollution, war, internal affairs so American can live at 1%.
I think there is no doubt the US is the greatest country in the history of the free world. Im from Europe, where most know about the Marshallplan. Which is the reason we live like kings to this day, that should never be forgotten. This is not really debatable from my view, the United States is the G.O.A.T. Fellow Gen-Z people, there are only 2 steps to love the US again. 1. Understand Communism. From the Boschewieks in 1917, to Xi Jingping tommorow. Just know it killed 150.000.000 to 200.000.000, in around 100 years. 2. Enjoy free America. Try to keep the biggest companies under control, the rest is free for all. But dont think youre being censored to any degree that matters. US Army - protect people of the homeland, allies and interests China PLA - terrorizes and spies on civillians, has north korea as ally, only protect interests of the Chinese Communist Party. If you think America is lacking, think again, because the alternatives are infinitely worse in every aspect 100% of the time.
One thing that I’ve been feeling is that it is becoming less acceptable for people to have “middle ground” beliefs, to have balanced opinions about one topic or another. Everything is so radical nowadays, you’re expected to be “all in” on ideologies. I feel like the healthier, more productive way of thinking is to listen to others, to see the benefits and detriments to all sides.
Same. I usually get bashed by my opinions because I don't pick neither one or the other side and I see pros and cons on both sides. I'm not even american, so you can see how much this new wave of activism has affected the world

Growing up in Alabama in the 90s, most of my family and many of the people I went to school with were openly racist. They would mostly hide it when other races were around though.
The loneliness epidemic is without a doubt a major contributing factor to a lot of the issues discussed in the video. People that lack proper social interaction don't know how to understand each other, so they don't care to understand each other, and then they never do understand each other which just leads to surface-level conflict
I sat alone in my house on unemployment for 3 years rather recently. I only talked to maybe 2 other people during those 3 years… i became comfortable over time being a complete hermit and I started to hate other people and get sucked into the internet and my own beliefs. This is a bad take. Trauma that happens on a scale the size of 911 does not only affect the people who were alive and able to remember it happening. I was 1 when 911 happened. I was 3 when we declared war on Afghanistan under the guise of them having deadly weapons that could lead to another attack like 911. I’m able to remember the intense rise of American nationalism that happened for years following 911. We also live in a country now that taps into every single piece of our lives. The final redpill is recognizing that Nationalism is the only answer to preserving a nation. This does not necessarily mean that it has to be based on ethnically exclusionary views. It means that our country needs to have a unifying identity with shared values and morals that are not crossed. These shared values and morals are more likely to be conservative in nature since the entire idea of Nationalism is based in conserving one's identity and not continuously pushing the envelope and trying to dismantle everything that we recognize to be true
A nation cannot survive if everyone is taught to hate the nation. Non-ethnic nationalism is the only way to save America. We have Marxists who are erasing the good and the bad of our history. 1776 was one of the top 5 most important years in human history, but far left Marxists want George Washington and Thomas Jefferson's names erased from history. New York just removed a Washington statue.
That's patriotism you described. Patriotism is the love of a country and it's ideals. Nationalism is the belief of superiority and that others are backwards or worse.
@@toadconqueror4293 you are quoting the old, 20th century definition of nationalism. New age nationalism believes that the U.S. Constitution is the superior government charter document without ill-will or negative beliefs about other nations.
The reason why we Gen Z kids don't like being American is like said at beginning, lack of nuance, and social media molding our opinions all over the place leading us to hate more than love.
It’s ironic that these young adults criticize Americans for ignorance yet they demonstrate an astounding unawareness of history and failure to comprehend international dynamics. They are naive. Hopefully experience will remove some of their stupidity
When I was in high school in the 2000's, we had five "genders" to identify as. Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, or Coast Guard. We were fighting two separate wars simultaneously, and society was just concerned with whether you were joining the fight or not. These high schoolers in 2023 have no wars to worry about dying in, and yet they act like their world is ending because they can't use any bathroom they want or a politician used a mean word. I know it makes me sound old, but the kids today would have been MERCILESSLY bullied for this delusional mindset back in the 2000's. The world is not filled with hate. Gen Z just believed the ultimate lie of "I am special." Nobody is special. You're not special. Your friends are not special. Your family is not special. Nobody is special. We are all equally unimportant. That's why there is so much "anxiety" with Gen Z. They genuinely believe life is supposed to be rainbows and unicorns. That is the opposite of reality, so they are constantly beating their head against a wall that doesn't even exist.
I am Gen X and trust me when I say these kids do not know oppression. My family lived through several wars. It was us and the Boomers who did the work to gain rights for LGBT people and guess what happened when they were won? The activists threw everyone - LGB, straight, women and kids and white men under the bus while shitting on boomers while appropriating their accomplishments. Now there is this racialized pecking order that is not "equal" but hierarchal with black trans women at the top. It is so bad they are revising LGBT history. Marsha P. Johnson did not throw a brick, did not start the Stonewall riots, is on record saying he came late, on record saying he was a gay transvestite. Now they claim he started it all, was a trans woman and all of us who lived the times or knew those who did are all like, wtf? They are just making up history. It is seriously disturbing.
Feels like the bit on information overflow is the big factor to me. Gen Z grew up with the internet already in place, so they naturally had access to a ton of info without the actual experience of it, which (in my head) leads to polarization on whatever "side" you're consuming info from

As someone that's not American, hearing gen Z Americans are struggling is like hearing a billionare say they're starving cause they haven't eaten in 2 hours.

Just because someone else in the world is drowning in an ocean doesn’t mean that you can’t be drowning in a lake. Struggle is struggle. We all go through it. Right now Americans are struggling to make money because our cost of living is surpassing the amount of money we are paid. There is a huge homelessness epidemic in our country right now. We have millions of people losing their rights to healthcare, and almost no one can afford to buy a house in this market. Just because there are people in countries that have it worse than us does not mean that we are not allowed to discuss the issues we are facing.
Personally, I think the issue with the lack of unity in the US and lack of patriotism in Gen Z is from a lack of common values, as pointed out in the video when people have a common national tragedy to focus on they tend to unify behind the country more. Both sides of the political spectrum nowadays put an emphasis on how we are 'different' from the other side rather than finding common ground. Now add that onto the barely formed identities of teenagers and their usually easily impressed minds and it's easy to see why you would end up with such radical minds from younger populations on both sides...
Hi , We also face this in France nowadays , this problem exported from USA in the first place. You are probably right but with everything that is tough in your schools / College and University are from now far more focused on making differencies a trait : Like everything is special and need to be treated as something great , pushed by political and social agendas ( even if it means throwing everything established by parental education , science , and past societies off ). I'm not saying that it is bad , but where we were told to be tolerent and live in acceptance , today we also need to fight to for these things to be relevent in the future : Like a war between (Wokism) and (Science/Religion) Wokism has some aspect to be considered taking into society today as a whole , but what we see (in france for instances) are all the stupidity , and the bullshit bias that US throw to Western Europe. USA has that much of a softpower that if it fails , others will follow and that's a fact that we know all too well. I hope everything will clear for US in few years for this country to rebuilt itself and grow stronger.
@@kevinlegrand431 Woke has no aspects to be considered. They're just ideas that the world has already been doing but just more EXTREME, RUSHED AND UNREALISTIC. Instead of taking the hit and changing the world in THEIR lifetime for the future generations, they TOO want to live in that changed world. They want INSTANT change, which is SUPER UNREALISTIC. Instead of having a positive impact they're doing the opposite. Undoing the progress that the world has been building slowly.
I get you, and I agree. Common ground is probably what people should seek. But that is impossible to achieve if on the left you have highly ideologically driven agenda, damaging all of society, masking it as compassion and silencing everyone who has a differing opinion, no matter how fact based their view is. Centrist conservatives are not the ones antagonizing the rest. That is coming from leftists. and that's not deniable, sadly.
It’s always funny seeing the wealthiest looking people advocating against capitalism, the girl in the pink clearly is from a very privileged background just judging from the way she talks, dresses, like the hypocrisy. The only reason she has these views is because she is so wealthy and hasn’t had to truly struggle. Also it seems like she’s a Uni student which adds even more to my claim just judging from her basic talking points, man I hate society
My parents had to endure communism and I will tell you this, no one is a bigger capitalist than communists, lol. They denounce what they envy and will snatch what you got in a heartbeat if they can. And they did, as we all know and saw.
The girl in the pink is the problem with America. She doesn't realize how good we have it compared to most nations. Yes we do have problems with political and big corporate corruption, but we live in a country that doesn't struggle with famine, protection, money, and resources. She talks about the 911 tragedy and the housing market collapsing is a Gen Z problem, yet she didn't have to worry and have that stress on her back because her parents took care of her. A real struggle for gen Z is how wages barley increase and yet homes increase outrageously. Personally I do believe the American Dream is still very real and prevalent today while at the same time being a lot harder due to more competition of new immigrants and Americans in general.
Are you ignoring the homeless in our streets? NY is going through a humanitarian crisis as we type, the US is aiding a genocide against the middle east, yet you think immigrants are a hinder to the American Dream? We don't get contracts to profit from wars, we don't get cheap labor, we ARE cheap labor. How about you read a book.
The biggest issue we face in the US, is the breakdown of the Nuclear Family unit. With that strong families that teach, responsibility, ethics, and morality has all but been broken. This break has lead to the decomposition of our society.
@@danceswith7wolvesdegenerative content found in media, disagreements with parents or other authority figures, lack of general morals and standards, etcetera.
Look a part of freedom is people have the choice to seek out that lifestyle or to go a different path. You’d be best served finding ways to export those values to other platforms. For me growing up it was Taekwondo that molded most of my values and taught me discipline, integrity, and work ethic. My dad was abusive to me when I was an infant, allegedly, I don’t remember and there was no legal action but my mom divorced him so I grew up with 2 different step dads in total. I thinks it’s wise to remember families break down for reasons that are not usually due to “societal trends” or perceived pressures. It’s usually something much more real.
I think that an oversaturation of content/information leads to less critical thinking. It used to be that peoples' beliefs largely came from their local communities, but with local connections being replaced with online ones, the larger marketplace of ideas has exposed people to more extreme ideas. No matter how extreme an idea is, you will always find people willing to affirm and echo it, which can feel incredibly validating if you don't have a healthy local community to keep you grounded.
Id say biggest problem is that many people are lacking in social skills. Theres a weird disconnect due to being mainly socializing online, since theres no consequences for the most part online and it functions a lot like an echo chamber. Socializing irl requires people to be a bit more civil because of the possible threat of physical retaliation
The biggest problem right now is probably self obsession since people are so worried about getting stuff to validate their own existence instead of focusing what people need to better others in the future that we might not even be alive to see.
My eyes just roll all the way to the back when she said systemic racism and this is coming from a person of color. Of all the tangible issues that exist thats never been on my mind
The problem with most people in America is the lack of logical thinking. And yes it has gotten worse with each generation. If everyone was logically thinking, they would listen to the other side of their view with respect, and open-mindedness and put an effort into understanding. Why should the general public act civilized if al our politicians only blame one side or the other? They always say the ones we elect are a representation of the people, don't be surprised when we act like they do.
This is true to an extent, in the reverse way. Already you see a return to traditional relationships, community service, career aspirations - much better than how milennials were. Gen Z has the highest IQ out of any generation in the past 100 years, higher than Gen A which succeeds them. It just so happens to be that the ones who seek the most publicity and attention online and in the real world happen to be stupid. This should not surprise anyone. Once the bulk of Gen Z's silent majority awaken politically, it's over for extremist think tanks.
@@insabon In my experience, they don't have the highest IQ. Gen Z and millennials lack communication skills, life skills, coping skills, problem solving skills. @@insabon Also, just curious as to what you think is an extremist think tank? Most people are very closedminded, very ignorant, don't want to know facts, and just follow the propaganda that is fed to them daily. And they consider themselves "informed".
One of the biggest issues is a lack of unity. How did people have unity in the past? Organized religion. I’m agnostic and have my qualms with organized religion. However, I will admit that it creates a strong sense of community, encourages a framework of morals, and encourages people to be better.
@@user-cf6fo6bj1u how can we achieve that? There is such a divide between the political alignments, between economic classes, and so on. Religion was the one thing that people could agree on (if they were part of the same religion, of course).
@@HabitualJoker I think if we could collectively agree that America philosophy like liberty, equality, and democracy is far superior than an other country let’s say China, Russia, and the Middle East. Then whatever political alignment someone might have at least they can both find common ground in a philosophy this country was founded on despite having opposing beliefs. I mean Americans either Republicans or Democrats in my opinion both already believe in the philosophy of America it’s just that both sides have been taught to dehumanize their fellow people instead of just having a communication with them. I think we have a lot more in common.
@@user-cf6fo6bj1u this is a good approach. To me, it all started to go downhill with social media. We are able to argue with people over a screen, rather than in person. We can demean people we have never met before with no repercussions. We can find our little niche groups and join theses groups that align with our way of thinking and you will be kicked out if you have an opposing view or if you “violate the community guidelines”. People like to advocate now that the US is not a good place to live and I think that is just a terrible mindset and is counterproductive. Morals also need to be instilled at home and in the classroom. If parents aren’t doing a good job to instill sound morals in their children, who will? I was a Boy Scout and do feel that I have gotten sound morals from being in the Boy Scouts that have lasted me 12+ years since leaving. Community programs or other groups like Scouts is a good avenue for encouraging sound morals in my eyes.

I think American people who hate this country have no concept of history. We’ve accomplished so much, far more than basically anyone before us. We’ve had a constant move towards expanding both political and cultural acceptance of people without regard to innate traits we cannot control. We’ve created the most prosperous society in history, a period of relative peace and global development and raised standards of living. We do have issues. Our education is crumbling, our politics are getting divided and ineffective at tackling anything that matters. We’re seeing huge centralization of wealth and power on the backs of the common people. These aren’t insurmountable problems, but we have to come together in good faith to fix it, and we cannot rely on our current government to do it for us.
People have really forgotten about WW1, global conflict that 60 million people fought in, people don't know what they fought for and that's pretty sad. School system should be reformed with topics such as WW1, the Civil War, the Korean War (the forgotten war) etc getting the importance and respect they deserve, not giving more classes on LGBTQ topics.
People who dislike America are usually more educated and just overall more intelligent than people who love it. Patriotism is correlated with having a low iq, many studies have shown this.
You forgot the fact that you guys accomplished so much in a fraction of time as most nations! You only existed for a quarter of a millenium where most nations have a history of at least two to five!
Hmmm, it would seem as if competent and strong white males made America into the empire that it was during its golden days, and so as all these weirdos and diversity rejects are coming onto the stage it's beginning to crumble.
I think the biggest issue with Gen Z is that they are too soft, I myself come from Gen Z and it is clear as day, that most of my generation struggle to have some political or social conversation without getting offended. Moreover it seems that cost of living overall increased too much (maybe I'm wrong though, comes from my observations).
They are too materialistic and think they deserve everything. Yeah our parents bought a home at 25 but they also were working since 16 and they didn’t buy the 500k home, they bought a small home to raise a family in. Gen z want everything NOW like spoiled children. America has been TOO good to them but thanks to their behavior it is now going to get much worse
You do have to be willing to have a conversation with someone in order to understand an alternate perspective, and be humble enough to consider if you might be wrong in your opinions. If people listened to each other better, I think we’d have fewer problems for sure :’) gets frustrating sometimes
Gen Z is too afraid to be offended and will end being bullied by older generations or upcoming generation. To seek knowledge you must not be afraid to be offended.
i mean, maybe the reason why we're closed off and "soft" is because many of us are just psychologically in a fragile state. maybe the problem is that the world is such a mindgame, and i mean it is a serious mindfuck nowadays. you have to firstly learn about adulting extremely quick after high school, balance that with your expectations and the expectations of others, everybody gets pushed into pursuing a university education because... to be fair, university-educated people do actually earn the most money, assuming everything goes well. the operative clause being, "assuming everything goes well", because graduate unemployment is a huge issue plaguing a lot of new graduates from uni. so, the fact that things like trade school, alternative post-secondary options, and the option of no post-secondary are now being promoted is really cool, but still, whether you go into uni or not, the market nowadays is just way more cutthroat than it used to be anyway, so you have to desperately find something to stand out against hundreds or thousands of others to get a job and an income to survive on and also, not to mention, i didn't even get into how loneliness is one of the biggest issues out now. this is surely to do with the internet and how it is making people tend away from actual social interactions and having to deal with people out there who have different views. not that i am claiming to have any mental health issues; i personally don't, but lots of young people, girls and boys both, have lots of them. even for us that don't we have things like huge loads of stress and burnout to contend with also. so, i personally think the reason people are nasty to each other over a difference in opinion where they didn't used to be is because most people are less mentally healthy, or literally more insane, than they used to be.
Regarding the case of racism, I think it is blown way out of proportion. Imma be honest, In my high school , I am constantly bullied because of my race, my country, etc. They call me names, state random pieces of info they dig out of the sewers, and yell racial slurs. But the fact is that people, no matter your race or identity or whatever, have to deal with bad people. People tend to forget that for every racist idiotic moron, there are more than a dozen people who are awesome people.
At that age, kids will just dig for anything unique to you to make fun of. Usually the way you look, or the way you talk, or the way you walk, ect. Making fun of you for being too black or too white or too short or too tall is not racism. Racism is when there is hate for an entire race. Not when you make fun of a single individual for belonging to a race. So making fun of you for being from a specific country, doesn't mean they hate that country or people from that country. They just use that as an excuse to single you out. Hope that makes sense.
@@gyn6131 Thanks for the info. I think I need to clarfify something. They make fun of me because I'm part of a race in which they hate, not to mention the racial slurs.
I'm not American but I am an observer from a much smaller Western country: Australia. One thing that scares me is the amount of influence the divide in America has on my country. A lot of sociopolitical "problems" that didn't exist in my country suddenly existed because of our ties as a Western country, but the reality is we made those problems ourselves. There's almost a narrative in liberal politics in America that being opressed is a good thing, having hardships you can't overcome is a good thing such as being a minority but especially being a struggling minority instead of acknowledging how good you have it. Whenever I see someone from a minority say they've had a good life and are grateful for what they have, others will tell them they're an outlier, they're blind to the truth of their existance, they should be ashamed. It seems there's this culture over there among my generation, Gen Z, that if you're grateful for what you have you're uninformed and you should always be bitter about what you don't have instead. And there are moments where this anger is justified- not being able to afford rent, having no friends, being born to a low socioeconomic position, having a failing educations system. But sometimes people don't seem to understand that they have so many more opportunities in America with their own position that even I as an Aussie don't have. My country is also geographically the bottom of a pillar beneath South East Asian Countries as well as East Asian countries like Japan, SK and China. To be honest because of our sparce military but also vast geographical position, anybody could run through our country and take over very quickly and one of the main reasons they don't is because of our alliance with the American military. Seeing their rates go down is extremely nerve wracking because if may eventually hit a point where countries who are "protected" by America suddenly won't be and war and takeover may break out, completely flipping America's strength on its back. Sometimes I get jealous of the USA. No, a lot of the time I'm jealous of the USA and how good they have it over there, but I'm also angered by how much they convince themselves the things they have that are lucky are considered bad. I think that Americans need to be world educated. They're world leaders but they don't know anything about the world around them. They compare their problems to their own problems so of course it will always be the worst. But I think opening their eyes to the nuance and ways other countries are will help them to view their country more objectively than reactively too.
We have been overrun from the inside by communists pushing ideology in order to weaken us domestically and abroad. The American people are resilient but we’ve been brainwashed with social media and have become complacent and lazy.
Question: If I'm afforded all the freedom, rights, and opportunities of being an American, but I look up and assume those more powerful and wealthy are spoiled while evading personal acountability. Does that make me spoiled? Is it possible the clueless, egocentric person is more clueless than the self actualized person?
“If I’m afforded all the freedoms, rights, and opportunities” of course we all are. But we aren’t all afforded being born to a rich family that guarantees me a minimum income of 80,000 a year through paternalism. Or relatively exclusive networks that are only truly available to the already wealthy, like many fraternities. Why would you call a broke person who can’t manage to not be broke spoiled, but a rich person who stays rich because in essence it’s as easy as just continuing on with the trajectory of your predestined life not spoiled? That’s weird.
Also it’s interesting that you create the dichotomy of a person who is struggling in this country as egocentric and clueless, obviously not all poor and frustrated people are ego centric and clueless. Just as much how not all rich people are self actualized. The personal attacks aren’t necessary in a conversation which is ultimately about economic philosophies. I think it’s just a bit silly that you’re debate tactic when it comes to talking about economic and government systems is by making up caricatures of two different kinds of people as opposed to idk, talking about the economy and government? Silly billy moment man let’s just have the talk instead of name calling
Im american 17 and around 1 year ago i truly started understanding how much opportunities Americans have. I mean if you live in a 3rd world country its hard to even have access to the Internet, and for some reason that inspired me to start improving my situation, wo far it has been alot easier using that mentality.
Well said kid in the late 80s mid 90s my parents and sisters immigrated from Guatemala to American during a 30 year long civil war last time I visited I was 8 and I saw how por my cousin uncle aunt grand parents are really makes you appreciate what you got and in the country your in.
I think the root of the issues today is pride. People think they deserve more more and more, and aren't happy with the gifts they have. In our pursuit of pleasure and comfort we've pushed to the point where the best is what we don't have, and there's a sense of entitlement. People don't recognize what a gift it is to be free, to express one's self and to live in a country that allows people to flourish. If instead we could focus on gratitude, generosity and what it means to really love people and foster real community (outside the world of our phones), we can solve a lot of the issues we face, and even when pushing through the issues, we will have hope and a deeper happiness than if we only look towards what we don't have.
No, we are right to be upset that our system is failing us. Our education system is terrible, and teachers are quitting in mass because 10-16-year-olds finally figured out that school is used by parents to act as a free daycare center. The housing market is fucked out the wazoo, and there is little chance of owning a home until your late twenties. Interest rates have exploded from 3.5% in 2015 to 7.8%, too. The job market is stagnating and there are zero decently paying jobs anywhere. No one is hiring inexperienced applicants, meaning there is no way to get higher paying jobs unless they're government-sponsored, which are also in short supply. I challenge you to buy a home in my neighborhood. The average price is $368,000 at 8% interest rates. I hope you enjoy the $2,700 monthly payment on top of property taxes, utilities(which just quadrupled in the last two years), and maintenance. Let alone food, savings, or investing. Oh, right. Zero jobs pay $25.00/hr or above without a master's degree or equivalent unless you want to drive 75 minutes to the nearest city.
My son is Gen Z and he is super patriotic and is about to enlist in the military. He grew up with a parent who is eclectic and has known all types of people however, all the sheltered kids he went to school with who rarely knew anyone across demographics want to scream about being victims while knowing nothing about the people they "champion" for. We find it funny that we have always had black, brown, asian, LGBT friends but these folks are "advocating" for these groups but barely know any if any, lol. A lot of his male peers from Gen Z see through all the crap their teachers pushed on them - mainly millennials - and how it has created division. His school has a lot of autistic females claiming to be trans and they are crazed, violent and always imposing politics on the other kids. I say females and males because they are biological realities you cannot excuse away under the "gender is different from sex" propaganda. He looks forward to being part of something bigger than just himself and though I for one am not necessarily military minded, I respect his choice and stand by him. I would rather a son be an officer or work in logistics as a cook in the military than a pretentious SJW who is in love with their social media presence and vanity who actually does not care about they people and causes they claim to.
Yeah because I’m guessing you’re white? Ask any brown person how they feel about the military, flooded with rapists, even to their own female soldiers in the military. The military is a joke. The military is a breeding ground for abusers, rapists and racists
I recommend your son to do four years and bounce. The military is nothing but a shell of its former self and is quite frankly embarrassing. He should get his benefits and leave before he has to fight a rich man's war. Nowadays you don't serve your country, you serve the political elite. Just some advise from someone who served for 8 years.
The military will shove young men like your son into a meat grinder on the other side of the globe so Raytheon can make a buck and the US can mantain its empire level influence in unstable regions. Did you learn nothing from Afghanistan?
We need to remember that just because things are great in America compared to other countries, that doesn’t mean there are not still problems that can be improved on. For example: Healthcare costs. Homelessness. Housing crisis. Inflation. Etc. These affect real people. Yes it is still better than living in a country where you have no rights, but that doesn’t mean no one is still struggling with basic needs.

It's hard to hear people say, "Rich people bad," because that means that even if you take advantage of opportunities and are successful, you are then"bad." So, the alternative is to just keep sitting on the couch and criticize successful people. That's the moral high ground🤨
It's really not that black and white. You're boiling down a multitude of issues to use it as a strawman. It really depends on HOW you're getting your money. If we're talking about oil barons, then yes, fuck them. You're all too focused on just chasing bags - no matter the means - rather than actually bettering the world or community around you.
As a Gen Z I think to a certain extent we do have it harder than other generations not bc we are over dramatic or can’t distinguish news from propaganda, but more so bc of the changes happening in the world that are making our generation struggle to live the same “level of life” and same level of “quality” that others before us had or were able to experience. I mean issues like a broken education system, money being worth less than many imagined it would get, a lack of resources to move up the ladder, and too much negativity on the news mixed w/ a pandemic no one was prepared for. It seems like every time u pull up the paper to read the weekly news there doesn’t seem to be anything positive to mention so that takes away “hope” for a better future or give any confidence to those who are already on the fence, that America still has the American dream and that anything is possible in this country. I’m not saying being able to read the paper and see what’s going on is a bad thing bc some countries don’t have that opportunity, but it’s difficult to sometimes be positive when there is so much negativity in general that goes back many years and in recent years has gotten worse.
Yeah and your generation votes to keep it worse, your the only generation to ever except gayness and communism, your generation is the biggest disgrace this country has ever seen and it’s facts
These issues you listed actually started with Millennials. You all are just now old enough to experience the same thing we have been. This has started for us since college!
@@planetChristieI was homeless during the 2008 housing crisis and recession. The business I worked at shut down. The house me and my friends were renting got for closed from the landlord. So we had to leave. I wanted to work but I had experience but nobody was hireing. And the longer I couldn't work the larger my work gap was and the less people wanted to hire. I went to job placement companies and they had nothing I handed out resumes everday with the money I panhandled. Took a long time until I found something. Then took years to bounce back. By the time I had a good enough job to actually look at buying a house the market started skyrocketing.
The problem with out country is our government never wants us to be happy. Systemic racism and sexism is no longer a thing in the US and the media has given them both new meanings to divide the American public down the middle so we focus less on the government and their new fascist policies, and focus more and tearing each other down

1st I'm American / Cherokee & I am Native American, the American Dream is Still Alive, I am a Business Owner & started it from being completely broke & bouncing around, it was started by living out of my truck, using Craigslist & my Phone. We have a lot more advantageous nowadays that we didn't have 20 years ago, you could either whine & complain about things, Or you look at the Glass Half Full & Take Action to make things better, people can waste their time on social media, or they could use it to build a Business, you can waste your time on your phone doing stupid things, or you can use it to build a Business, you have a Choice in this Country to be an Employee or to Start a Business or be involved in a Startup if you want, it could be done on the side, you don't have to do it overnight, its definitely not going to be Easy but you're going to Value it & appreciate it a lot more! This whole thing where people believe the American Dream is dead, that's Absolutely Not True, they're full of something! Their Negative / Pessimistic & they believe a certain way, they most likely won't change, you can harp about something & make that your point of focus, or you could be the change that you want to see! The American Dream Is Alive & Thriving!
I’ve lived in the “third world” for most of my life, but always had access to the internet so I’m pretty up to date with global issues. Where I live currently, there’s a powercut at least once a month(pretty good for Africa tbh). Yesterday all day the water was off. The roads have no sidewalks, there isn’t much greenery like parks and lawns so there’s a lot of dust. Services like ehailing and food delivery haven’t reached here yet. Public transport is still very basic, and not as organised. Don’t get it twisted, I don’t live in trees and shit. And if you have money, you can have a very comfortable life here. Penn Station in New York is bigger and better than all the bus stations in this country put together. Basically what I’m trying to say is, America is so advanced in many ways that Americans wouldn’t know because they don’t know what it’s like outside of the western world. Not saying it’s perfect but that is why people from the third world try to move to America everyday. Because life is easier there than where we come from. Because of the many opportunities that are possible in America. In the third world, we don’t have all the social/political issues that gen z Americans are so passionate about. Maybe at most ethnic problems, but feminism, LGBT+, capitalism are not talked about much. Those are first world problems. I think if young Americans lived abroad (not Europe or Aus) for some time or read extensively about abroad they would have a more rounded balanced opinion.
The problem is the abundant mixture of people. When everyone looks alike and thinks the same way, we all get along. But when different groups with different views clash, that's when things go wrong. Just live your life and stop worrying about what others do with theirs.
Not necessarily. The Balkans are a great example. Similar religions, all conservative, all "white", similar genetic backgrounds, mutual intelligible languages. However, the greatest tensions and conflict exist/have existed in that region. America is not longer a nation, it's an empire. And it's doing very well for an empire, almost 300 years strong.
@@Ceelguula Not all similar religions Turkey is a muslim county, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina are majority muslims. Scandinavian countries are the best example in similar religion and everything, they are the top happiest countries in the world and are homogenous problems started in Sweden when they let third world muslims invade them.

When I hear people in street interviews describe what they see as fundamental issues with our country, it fuels me more than any demoralization campaign ever could. I've just completely given up on this country. It's over. People are far too easily distracted by hot topics instead of staying laser focused on fundamental flaws that have corrupted our country over 60+ years. I have no faith in the general populous anymore.
@@RazorRamonMachismo fiat currency/Federal Reserve, the MIC, the PIC, shipping our industries overseas, the erosion of our constitutional rights, class issues, illegal immigration instead of economic revitalization, food/soil health, the way the government has pacified its civilians, wasted/corrupt tax expenditure, & the list goes on. Instead we focus on racial issues, sex/gender issues, the presidency, what someone said on Twitter, or really anything that adds fuel to the fire to keep people in a dichotic frame of mind. It's incredibly defeating and it's not even propaganda. It's just reality. I'm entirely hopeless at this point. I'm ready to check out of politics/social issues entirely, leave the country, and never look back.
I agree... there are so many problems in this country, and yet we have a whole group of people screaming about transgenders as if it's the the biggest and most problematic issue in the world!
I’m gen z, moved down south from new england where I grew up. Was always told “the south is racist be careful”. Yeah, I did have a handful of racist encounters the few years I’ve been living in the south. The thing is, those racist encounters were done by fellow minorities. The whole “we look alike we should stick together” and “its us against them” schtick. “Oppression” has now become a weapon, used by “victims” now. Cry-bullies are the worse people you could ever run into. “I’m so oppressed. You’re either with me, or you’re scum”
I wouldn't say oppressed. More like neglected. Our country caters to corporations before anyone or anything else and that reflacts on society as a whole.
As a GenZ myself, it's not that we're being taught to hate America. We've seen firsthand the ridiculous actions prior leaders of our country has done. We're not being taught to hate, we're being shown the reality of our country and how many problems are left undone due to Americans treating their country as the best and therefore not needing fixes.
For me, I’m Gen Z, and though I do have many issues with this country, I still would consider myself somewhat patriotic. The greatest patriot doesn’t downplay the country’s issues, but helps to conquer them.
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure. " - Jefferson If you're a true patriot its obvious what needs to be done.
Here's a question to ask the younger generation, have they ever heard or been taught about the "Peace Corps". If their answer is no, then 'Google it' for them, and let them see us in our youth at what could be said was our 'finest hour'. And all of it was started from famous quotes of John F. Kennedy... " Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country." and Martin Luther King Jr. "I have a dream, that people will not be judged on the color of their skin, but on the strength of their character."
I'm 19, and I hate my Generation. I'm Christian, very Traditional and Patriotic. I love Grilling of the 4th of July, Spending time with my family on Christmas, helping my Mother during Thanksgiving, etc. I thank my parents for the way they raised me, and intend to raise any children I may have the same way.
As a Gen Z, I hate this. I love America, and I love being American. And there is nothing that will make me change my thoughts on that. However, I feel like people are being brainwashed into thinking that America is bad. Im proud to be an American 🇺🇲
I will never understand these people who think it is so terrible here in the US. If they don’t like it move! It’s that simple. No one is holding them here against there will. If they think freedom is better somewhere else then go find it! Let me know how other countries respond to them when they make comments like by not using the pronouns they think they are is an act of violence
When I was living in Germany for the last four years, just about everyone I spoke with believed the US exports our degeneracy and social issues straight to Europe.

Hey @GEN can you do this same video in a rural area? I would love to see the difference.
Oh, the American Dream will continue to exist. It's just that whether or not it becomes a reality - now that's becoming more and more difficult as the US continues to degenerate and the rest of the world continues to de-Americanize.
As a member of Gen Z, I would say that my generation's biggest problem is turning small problems into big ones.
Agreed - Gen Z myself.

Editing comments on the TH-cam mobile app sucks, but I should clarify and state that I think it's one of, not the biggest issue.
very good point, can’t even disagree with someone’s beliefs or ideologies without them verbally assaulting you.

Amen. You have a very uncommon condition called "common sense."
You hit the nail right on the head!
We got plastic in our blood

Oh brother…
They're just letting them know that they're valid if they do feel that. How dumb do you think kids are? When I was 11 I was sure that I was a boy, I knew about trans people, that didn't change that.
@@justyourfriendlyneighborho903 i seen a kid on the age of 12 starting eating shit in the store and got confused and started to cry because he had to pay for it, kids are not mentally able to think forthemself before the age of 16, dont try to make it allright, now just imaging if school started gathering all the kids and started asking them if they were gay or shit like that, the fking school would be in outrage,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he doesn't seem to have applied his experience to anyone's. He simply stated what his experience was like.
I would like this printed on a T-shirt

I was also shocked by the fact she wouldn't try to get her kids to the best school they can get into. Yeah it's ridiculous there are almost no white kids at these selective schools funnily enough
I think you misunderstand. It was a different world back then, and at that point in time systemic racism was well and truly in place. The implication isn't that they weren't intelligent enough to make it into these schools, simply that people of these backgrounds weren't 'allowed' in.

2. Enjoy free America. Try to keep the biggest companies under control, the rest is free for all.

The loneliness epidemic is without a doubt a major contributing factor to a lot of the issues discussed in the video. People that lack proper social interaction don't know how to understand each other, so they don't care to understand each other, and then they never do understand each other which just leads to surface-level conflict

The final redpill is recognizing that Nationalism is the only answer to preserving a nation. This does not necessarily mean that it has to be based on ethnically exclusionary views. It means that our country needs to have a unifying identity with shared values and morals that are not crossed. A nation cannot survive if everyone is taught to hate the nation. Non-ethnic nationalism is the only way to save America. I'm not saying that it is bad , but where we were told to be tolerent and live in acceptance , today we also need to fight to for these things to be relevent in the future : Like a war between (Wokism) and (Science/Religion)
Wokism has some aspect to be considered taking into society today as a whole , but what we see (in france for instances) are all the stupidity , and the bullshit bias that US throw to Western Europe.

It's so bad, my company started hiring only older programmers, and now that we've run out and can't hire more, we outsource to other countries.
The only way for some type of unity in America in my opinion is shared philosophy.
World wars also brings unity. Let's hope it doesn't come to that though as our military feels like a limp dic* atm.
If they hate it so much then leave. Sad to see how many people are brainwashed by the media.
Bro we want to leave. But leaving is expensive. Plus you still have to pay taxes to America even if you denounce your citizenship. And the tax never goes away unless you go through years worth of legal channels to get rid of it. America is effectively trapping its citizens.

Maybe those people hate America because they haven't been extended the opportunity to take part in any of that?
What’s the problem with being offended, it’s natural especially when someone says something you deem out of pocket
47yo Gen X here, this is still the best country to live in the world, sure it's not perfect, so if you don't like it then GTFO.

Same, we may need to look for a new protector, it seems the americans are giving up.
We have been overrun from the inside by communists pushing ideology in order to weaken us domestically and abroad. The American people are resilient but we’ve been brainwashed with social media and have become complacent and lazy.

Speak for yourself. There are no liberals in America. Just right-wing moderates or full-blown Marxists.
Question: If I'm afforded all the freedom, rights, and opportunities of being an American, but I look up and assume those more powerful and wealthy are spoiled while evading personal acountability. Does that make me spoiled? Is it possible the clueless, egocentric person is more clueless than the self actualized person?
This!! That lady was ridiculous!
This is a really good point actually. I agree with this.
America is really low on the global freedom scale actually compared to other western counties

Thats bigotry according to the left. Diversity is good and a single race is bad.

“Oppression” has now become a weapon, used by “victims” now. Cry-bullies are the worse people you could ever run into. “I’m so oppressed. You’re either with me, or you’re scum”
I wouldn't say oppressed. More like neglected. Our country caters to corporations before anyone or anything else and that reflacts on society as a whole.
neglected*
whoa I didn't even notice, thanks@@Enlightened_SpursFan
" - Jefferson
If you're a true patriot its obvious what needs to be done.
You're going to be extinct by 2045 anywhy lol
Is that a reference to climate change or are you threatening me?@@Gurzil-

Here's a question to ask the younger generation, have they ever heard or been taught about the "Peace Corps".
If their answer is no, then 'Google it' for them, and let them see us in our youth at what could be said was our 'finest hour'. And all of it was started from famous quotes of John F. Kennedy...
" Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country."
and Martin Luther King Jr.
"I have a dream, that people will not be judged on the color of their skin, but on the strength of their character."
The problems with America is people with a microphones, cameras and a media account. Get a real job and we’ll talk.
"why are there more people entering America then leaving" that great fucking question
Gen Z does not care US values and patriotism.
Saying you're Christian, but saying you hate an entire generation of people is wrong and shows you still have a lot to learn about life and Jesus.
My boy in the wheel chair is smoking some good stuff. He was on it!
America does export it's problems
Yeah I immigrated to the social heaven of the dark continent and I'm omw to fuck their shit up one step at a time.
When I was living in Germany for the last four years, just about everyone I spoke with believed the US exports our degeneracy and social issues straight to Europe.
You’re right. We deploy them an terrorize developing nations.
That’s true. Basically every single social topic that goes viral in the US is echoed worldwide.
But it’s the people of the other countries running with it….so they’re to blame. Maybe they shouldn’t have such easily influenced populations 😂
“How have you helped your community?” “I protest everything!” That is not the help your community needs.
