    INGREDIENTS:
    All purpose silicone or Food grade silicone
    Silicone gun
    Cornflour
    Vegetable oil
    gloves
    food colour
    paddle pop stick
    Vegetable paper
    In a plastic container with cornflour squirt +/- 50g of silicone,
    add a dot of food colour and mix all together
    Add 1/2 spoon of vegetable oil, mix it.
    Add 2 spoon of cornflour and mix it again.
    With gloves knead until becomes a putty. If still stick add more cornflour.
    Spray item with vegetable oil and press item against putty.

    There are people that try to be funny while doing videos but OMG I laughed and learned how to make my own mold. Your accent grew on me and love your video. You were so realistically funny, not forced. I loved your video. OMG and when you said another little bit of corn flower and dumped a huge spoonfull I was like are you kidding me??? Lol. I hate to see what a lot is. I will subscribe

    Thank you. I have been looking for and affordable way to make moulds and have often looked at my husbands silicone and thought about using it, but was unsure about the food safe thing. Now I will be able to make so many moulds.

    Awesome tutorial. Can't wait to start making molds for fondant projects. I just purchased a small poodle mold on Etsy for $9.00! I'll use the food grade silicone, and I'll try to use gel food color instead of paint.

    Awesome! I have used the product by Amazing Molds and it's great, however, you get very little product for the money. This method will be more cost effective. Of course I would feel more comfortable using food grade silicon. Thanks for the video.

    Brilliant video as usual Verusca, this will save me a fortune on those small tubs of moulding compound. I'm going to colour my 'food grade' moulds in pink, and my non food grade for clays/soaps etc in blue. Thanks for the tutorial 😊👏🏻

    hey miss verusca, its my very first comment to any sort of video...you really made me appreciate your work... thank you so much for your great help and for such simple and easiest way for making homemade molds... i am a baker and its really difficult sometimes to go to the market and search for the desired molds for the cakes specially when its a unique design that costumer demands for because i feel buying molds from market costs me much more than i can make and many times its useless because customers always wants new designs for his/her cake to make it unique... but i am now eager to make my choice molds for my valuable customers, soon please give me more details about silicon so i can buy and try it. thank you

    Ive enjoyed watching your video,, i tried the soap and silicone and the smell is bAD after it has set,, does it still have the smell with the corn starch ? if yes how long before the smell is gone ?

    Hi Verusca! i have watched this video 100 times over the year. thank you so much for this! i was wondering, could you PLEASE please do a video of a two piece mold using this technique? is it possible to do a two piece mold? i need to make a 3d object. ive looked up other videos, but.. i dont know. please let me know if this is possible and how to go about doing it. thank you!

    I love your enthusiasm -- opening with dd so funny! Can I use this product for making molds? Sil Bond 4500 NSF FDA Clear 100% RTV Silicone Adhesive/Sealant (10.3 oz Tube) . The product in the link below does not come in a tube for use in a caulk gun. Maybe you could post a photo of the label from the silicone tube? Thanks!

    To use fondant on the molds which silicon would you recommend? Besides the food one. That one is expensive.

    Do the molds done with corn flower stink of vinegar while they're curing? I've done the molds with dish soap and, OMG, they reek for a couple of weeks. Thanks!

I am planning to make a mold for pawpsicles from Zootopia and I was curious if the mold will be damaged in any way if I used the mold in the freezer. Will it?     Thanks for the video. I love how simple this seems and fast but how quick does this molding set so that the shape stays. I wanted to check before I make it.

      It sets very quick. (1 to 2 hour) but it is better to wait 24 hour so you can wash it very well

    i made a mold and my chocolate forms with tons on tiny air bubbles on the surface....the chocolate is sticking to the mold and it makes the surface of my chocolate look like its been eaten my worms...any idea why?

      It will set in 2 hours but if you let it cure for at least 4 days the smell will completely disappear

    Hello Verusca... i bought a General Purpose Acetoxy Cure silicone, something that is also used for fish tanks /aquariums... will that be also okay to use instead of using 100% silicone?

    Can the FOOD-GRADE silicone be used to make molds for melted chocolate? Is there a brand you’d recommend? Would it withstand 350 F if I decided to bake in it? Thanks!
