    I know you specialize in cakes, but you should also start with your make up TH-cam channel. I love your makeup. Beautifully done. Especially in this video!! Love all your cake videos. Thanks for great content and explanations.

    OMG! I can’t thank you enough as for a long time I’ve been struggling for someone to answer the difference between all three and you did the best video with examples and with so much details. Thank u very much for the wonderful ideas you bring up every time 💗

      Hi Samentha, I am so happy to hear this is the type of video you've been looking for and I am so pleased you enjoyed it. I really hope it helped answer all the questions you have and will help you choose which to use in your next cake project x x

      @@CakesbyLynz I’ve enjoyed every single video you’ve uploaded in the past but this particular one was the basics I wanted to have more knowledge on and also always wondered what the brand of fondant and gum paste you used. This video did answer all my questions and is really very helpful. Thank you once again 💖

    This tutorial was so helpful! Thank you so much, it has answered so many of my questions! Going into so much detail and giving examples was really helpful and it was also great to see actual brands as examples too as you never know what to buy to be sure the consistency will be what you need. Looking forward to your next projects!

      Hi Sally, I'm so happy to read you found the video helpful and it answered all your questions.

    Wow! So much great information! I am *so* grateful for this video! The way you were able to explain so clearly what the differences between them are, as well as describe the circumstances under which you would use each was infinitely better than any other similar video I've ever seen! And then, having samples of flowers made from each, and being able to see what each of them finally looks like after drying...simply perfection! ...

      Hi Camille, I'm so happy to read you enjoyed the video and found it useful. I thought it was important to show the differences after 24 hours, so I am so pleased this was helpful.
      To answer your question I don't actually have any experience with modelling chocolate (if anyone else does and is reading this please let us know your thoughts). I think this is definitely something I will have to get and something I need to try working with. I'm so sorry I couldn't be more helpful x

      @@CakesbyLynz Oh, please don't worry about the modeling chocolate question! It'd be interesting to find out at some point, but at least for now, this info is more than enough! Thanks again! 💖💖💖

      @camilletomer ปีที่แล้ว

      (Sorry! I ran out of room! 😉😂) If I might ask a couple of questions...what is the difference between modeling paste and modeling chocolate? And what does modeling chocolate do, look, and feel when it's dried? Have you ever used it? And under which circumstances would it be best used?

    • @CakesbyLynz
      @CakesbyLynz  ปีที่แล้ว

      I know it can get so confusing can't it, that was why I wanted to explain about the names for fondant at the start. Growing up we always called it icing in the UK.

      @@CakesbyLynz I live in the US and use gum paste to make sugar flowers. I guess my question is what is the difference between gum paste and flower paste, if any? Also is modeling paste simply fondant with the addition of CMC or Tylose? I am so sorry to keep asking, but you can explain it much better than anyone else I have asked 😊 thank you
