    I support your tutorials all the way. Do not pay attention to the people that get upset that you show us how to make DIYs. There are those that prefer to purchase them done and there are other (like myself) that rather do mine at home for myself. I'm a art enthusiast and enjoy making things for my family not for selling purposes. Please continue making videos you're not hurting anyone by doing so. People sell what they make for income and you make videos for income.

      Who gets mad at diy tutorials?!?!
      What a weird thing to get stressed out about... 🤣🤷‍♀️
      There’s nothing wrong with buying molds and I would never imagine getting upset at someone doing that…
      So it’s bizarre to hear that some people get upset that others like to make molds!
      I don’t want to sell the same looking/shaped items that the person next to me sells…which is why I make my own molds.
      Because you’re only limited by your imagination when you make them yourself. ❤️

      I'm with Dixie. I like making my own moulds and clay. If someone is sharing their recipe so freely with others, no one should get upset at them! but they should say, as I do, Thank you!!!

      Lol, I don't see a point in even having an opinion on DIYs if you prefer premade. That's like having an opinion on baking tutorials when you only eat out anyway.

    Thank you so much. Buying molds can be so expensive, especially when you need several. You’ve saved us from wasting our hard earned money, especially if as a crafter who sells their creations at craft shows. Some of the entry fees can be high. Your idea, saves me money, that I can afford to pay my shows entry fee.
    You’re a genius!

    Hi there, I’m just responding to your silicone molds. I can’t imagine why anyone would complain about you doing your videos for free when someone else is charging for those same tutorials. You can do whatever you like to. Who are they to tell you that you can’t. So crazy!
    Keep doing what you’re doing we thoroughly enjoy it and thank you for making a free tutorial. ❤️

I also really REALLY like that you give us just the instructions, some great pointers and, some examples....and you do all of this in a clear, concise and non-condescending way. You are really great at giving instructions....thank you for your video!!!💜

    I cannot say thank you enough!!! I have the most beautiful bedroom bed, chest of drawers, and bed side tables. I live them so much but the drawer handles started breaking in half after living in storage for a couple of years. I tried so hard to figure out how to get/ order/ make or replace them. Closest I got was one place that offered to make a mold and and cast them for me. But they wanted $250 PER handle. I need 3 at this point. For that much I can buy a new chest of drawers and have a few left over when another broke. Obviously I couldn't, wouldn't, didn't do that! At least now I can make a mold of the handle! One step closer!!! Thank you!

    Great video. 👍🏻I've made both of these and the glycerin drops in the silicone as well. The glycerin one smells sooo bad and it takes a month of it sitting outside to tone that stink and fumes down. I like the cornstarch blend better too.

    • @PetroicaRodinogaster264
      @PetroicaRodinogaster264 ปีที่แล้ว

      So are you saying it is the glycerine that takes a month to clear the smell or the silicone? The way you have structured your sentence I cannot tell, but it appears you are meaning the glycerine.
      But, Silicone does smell nasty but that should go by the time it dries. I am suspecting that the glycerine is actually preventing the drying and therefore the smell lingers longer.
      Glycerine is a moisture retaining chemical…they put it in things like hand and face cream and lipstick. It will be slowing down your process of drying. However, I use it for something different and there is no smell.

    You are by far THE MOST creative person I've ever seen ❤. Honestly, you're ability to make decor, molds, clay etc out out basic items found at home is just incredible. Both methods are super cool but it seems like while a bit more work the corn starch recipe is better. I'll definitely try this! Thank you so much for sharing

    The cornstarch mix is safe and reassuring to use for moulds for icing fondants .

      Is there a difference? Does the soap and silicone method not work as well with clay?

    • @19cosmo91
      @19cosmo91 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@allisonchavez9113 I find it hard to remove the clay from a less sturdy mold without warping it's shape. You can also freeze the clay inside the mold and remove it once the clay is firm.

    • @allisonchavez9113
      @allisonchavez9113 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If these molds are made with silicone and it's polymer clay, can't it be baked in the mold making removal easy. I can see if the clay is uncured an u sturdy mold won't do, so then, based on this conversation I take it that molds made with corn starch are sturdier

    • @19cosmo91
      @19cosmo91 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@allisonchavez9113As long as your molds are heat resistant they should be fine in the oven. I only remove the clay to poke holes for attachments and clasps before it bakes.

    There are hundreds of free lessons all over the internet. If people want to learn a specific skill,it is often easier to pay and get the information quicker and easier. For someone to rage on you for free information is ridiculous!!! Anyone who knows what to do will ALWAYS be able to find the info, so go for it! The artists who do good / great classes will always have followers who will pay for their classes, because they are good at what they do, and people value that. Do what your good at, and don't let anyone get to you!

    I never leave comments and rarely even "like" videos, but I had to this time to say thank you! Honestly, I wasn't expecting this to work but decided to watch anyway before breaking out a vacuform machine I bought at a craft store. I am so amazed at how great these look, though! This method is way easier, cheaper, and more foolproof than the vacuform machine. Needless to say, I'm returning the vacuforming supplies and using this method instead! Thank you for sharing!!! Great video!! =)

    You are such a genius!!! I have watched MANY of your videos (subscribed of course!❤️)
    I swear you could make a livable dwelling out of your many types of DIY materials!
    Your mind must be a beautiful space of imagination to call your own, I would be
    Sooooo proud to be YOU! I think you are incredibly amazing. You are quite thorough
    with your information in tutorial, a good teacher and a brilliant artist.
    THANK YOU for being so gracious as to offer your viewers the gift of “how to” it is so exciting
    for me to dive into another form of art. I learned to paint pour in all its forms and styles, geode resin art, resin top coat,
    faux stained glass, and other mixed media type arts.
    I get bored with creating the same types of art after awhile (3 yrs of the above). Im ready to move into another art form. Clay is next for me and
    You are just the teacher I was looking for! ❤️ I also have a deep interest in foil metal embossing.
    God Bless all you wonderful TH-cam artists who are willing to TEACH the able but ignorant viewers.
    Note : ignorance is not stupidity, ignorance is lacking knowledge, information, or awareness of a particular thing.
    Stupid is as stupid does … lol read it again.
    Stupid is usually revealed in the form of a verb which quickly turns into an adjective! 😂
    I am no longer totally ignorant to clay art, I am now much more ‘informed’ thanks to you!
    I’ve much more to learn, art is trial and error in the beginning! But seeking information from
    someone tried and true is a great place to start! Peace and happiness to you ~ “happiness comes in waves 🌊 “
    Hmmm who might I have heard that from?!…. Yes you, beautiful Koi Art you created 😉❤️
