Picked up an 85 D150, a few dings but no rust. $1700, slant six and 4spd OD. The block is cracked, he had straight water in it when it got to single digits last year. I’m swapping in a 318 magnum with a carb soon. Next year it’ll get a 5.7/8spd. It’ll get the van LCA swap and some drop hangers. The 8.25 will have to get swapped for a 9.25 when the Hemi goes in. Cool truck, My dad has one like this, but it's a 77 2 wheel drive short box 440 all original. Thanks! Appreciate ya!
It looks so great! What an awesome truck!
We bought my 16yo daughter a 82' D150 with slant six. I put a rebuild on the Holly 1945 but the throttle shaft needs bushing. I am now thinking about a Holly Sniper 1100. I would love to see you guys EFI swap this thing so I can learn a little. SWEET Truck!
