  • This is a good test on Uscooters GT Sport's (powered by E-TWOW) performance, with several steep climbs. And on a level ground I even got it to 29.5 MPH. All this at the cost of range. I didn't do the full range. I did 6.8 miles and ended up with 36% left on the battery.

    Nice test. Do you have any idea of what is the incline (in %) of those hills?

      At the tail end of this video I used an inclinometer app and it showed it to be around 26 percent or 7% grade, on the steepest portion.

    I have it. Pretty good for the size. No regrets

      Congrats! It's manner and appearance belie it's performance.

      *update*
      The battery blew out within a matter of a few months. I have just a little over 500 miles so it's still under warranty. The battery blew out during my ride.

      That's sucks man, sorry to hear that. I wonder if this a 1st or 2nd generation. 1st generation I heard had controller issues. Only thing that broke on mine was the power port rubber cover, they stupidly put it right next to the folding lever for the stem, so I must have stepped on it and ripped it off.

    How’s the stability of the scooter? And good job riding!

    • @WanderingIntroverse

      It's pretty solid. On gravel or dirt it can be a bit of a problem. A few times I did have the wheels slide from under me, but even I was able to get control of it. The wheels are really small, that could be a problem on uneven surfaces, curbs, cracks, grates, wet surfaces etc. But I'm having a blast on this thing.

      @@WanderingIntroverse M8 i ride my gt se version on rain and snowing period without any problem. I rode it on everything. It can handle the tough bit :)

    What do you think about the narrow handle bars? I’m very close to buying this scooter but that is my only concern

    • @WanderingIntroverse
      @WanderingIntroverse  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think it maybe a problem if you're taller than 6 ft, because you'd be hunched over and your posture might look like a T-Rex. I am 5'9" and I'm okay with it. The handlebars being narrow seems concerning, but it handles really well, and I have major injuries to my right arm and shoulder and I have no issues with handlebars. The bigger concerns you should consider are the tires and what kind of roads/streets you'll be riding on. These tires are not good on lose gravel, or dirt, or roads with severe potholes and/or cracks. I do not recommend this to anyone that have to ride on wet roads. Sorry this is lengthy, but I do think this important to consider.

      @@WanderingIntroverse another question. Do you think this scooter would be powerful enough for a place like Asheville NC? Pretty hilly here.

    • @davidelliotwakefield
      @davidelliotwakefield ปีที่แล้ว

      @@junkman226 I briefly looked at topography of Ashville, it does look hilly. I think a dual motor with larger wheels would be more suited for those hills, it probably rains quite a bit there too. This scooter woulf be terrible on wet roads. Of course if you like drafting or doing stunts this may actually be to your benefit.

      @@davidelliotwakefield thanks for your reply. Yes it rains a lot here too. I’m probably just going to save up for something like the Apollo City Pro

    Can the tires be changed on this scooter? Bought it and has me concerned on eating it

    • @WanderingIntroverse
      @WanderingIntroverse  ปีที่แล้ว

      It looks like it can be changed, but it doesn't look easy. Check out this video, it more like still images put together, but nonetheless it appears to be a good guide th-cam.com/video/vKvOtJ638Rg/w-d-xo.html. I think the back tire may be even easier.
