- This is day 17 of how to get Onyx in Halo Infinite without jumping, sprinting, and sliding. Basically, I'm a sloth with zero mechanics.

I almost always have a positive KDA after watching these videos, it's been incredibly helpful to have both your live commentary and post to really analyze your gameplay
After editing the same videos over and over i usually play really well because I’m hearing “play your life” over and over in my head.
I like how you break down and explain your decisions and why your doing what your doing.

Yeah this was back in season 2 when it was easy to get onyx
@@thrvfty We're still in season 2. Season 1 it might have been easier but this is legit gameplay.
@@carlintaylor8176 For clarification, I was using the same system as HaloTracker, where the Winter Update reset is counted as another season. The thing is that, every time the ranked system resets, the ranks seem to get harder to climb. For example, season 1 Onyx 1500 is now around Platinum 6 or Diamond 1, and season 2 (pre-Winter Update) is around Diamond 3 or 4. As such, this person was only reaching effectively Diamond 4 or so this reset. This slightly degrades the premise of the series as most people, myself included, will expect that this person is reaching Onyx this reset, which is truly a difficult task. Sorry for the lack of clarity of language regarding resets/seasons, though.

Hey how do you stream/record this game without the game turning into a powerpoint presentation? Every time I try linking it with OBS it goes fine for a while and then eventually just goes into 1-2fps and won't unlock. If you had this problem, did you ever find a solution?
Hmmm weird. I know the game is pretty CPU intensive. Maybe try lowering your fps and finding some recommend OBS settings.
@@DoddsMcFodds did that, still having massive issues that make the game unplayable. I don't even have to be streaming, OBS just needs to be open and eventually it turns into a powerpoint slideshow.

I know you're too far in to change it up, but it's a real shame you don't mantle either. There's plenty of points designed for this that you simply have to ignore, which severely limits your assists/damage. This seems like more of a brutal challenge than an experiment to prove ppl are moving too much.
Btw, you don't seem to zoom enough. You tend to leave a lot of shots on the table because you aren't able to hit those long range critical shots.

That’s a good idea. I think if i was going to do it again i would at least include the ability to do step jumps. But yeah i think I’ll end up adjusting my fov so i can engage in more long range gun fights. Thanks for the tips!

I can't unbind more than one button. Soooo we're stuck with this. I hope thats alright!
@@DoddsMcFodds It's a great series. However I was able to unbind both jump and sprint buttons, which eliminates sliding by default.
