Are the w58 and w59 shifter housings the same? I know the ratios are shorter in the 59 and slightly smaller case as well thanks.

Hey. Nice video. I have a w58 that has a noisy input shaft bearing. Considering doing it myself. Difficult? Have you ever done a video of that? Any advice?

Thank you. My sons supra has the same issue I'm not sure when we will be tackling that tho but it will be a first. We have opened my 2 w58's and swapped parts just haven't changed any bearings. We will record it for sure tho sorry I don't have a video to help you out. If I find a good one or a write up I'll get you a link 🤙🏼

What shifter did you go with. I'm having difficulty finding one that fits my w58.

I have a cube brand style shifter currently. The shifter is tall but has a nice short throw. The one in the video was a random short shifter I got off of eBay it wasn’t that comfortable shifting a bit of a reach for 5th gear
