I'm getting one for my rebar as well. I love the rebar so much. I used the Wave in the passed and just recently switched. The rebar is now my favorite leatherman. Wouldn't go to work without it
Man, I've had mine for four years, and my clip is still rocksolid and I wear mine every day at work maybe the newer ones have a different clip I don't know
@@m3rkaba86 I got mine almost 4 yrs ago too. They guy did tell me he figured the temper wasn't right and claimed he would send a new one but he never did. I probably just got a bad batch. I just wasn't impressed that they didn't replace it after saying they would.
I've been e-mailing the guy for the past 2 years to AT LEAST enlarge the damn clip because my belt is 1.75". He just refuses to alter his design. You're as strong as your weakest link, and theirs is that stupid clip. Solid pass.
We have released our new clip design a few weeks ago. We take every recommendation from our customers and filter through and modify design based on those recommendations and have come up with a solid clip design that accommodates all belt sizes and rotates in 0/45/90 degrees in both directions. It does take some time to design, cut tooling and manufacture products e specially when you do them all here in the America but we do appreciate the markets understanding of this. With this new belt clip design, we have solved a lot of the comments regarding the old steel clip.
Sure I have a shop and tools and equipment to do all of this myself. The whole point of buying it was so that I don't have to? Since I have made this video yes they have addressed many of the issues and made some improvements. This is an old video. BUT because their customers service is crap I have moved onto to others things for my collection.

I have a rae gear holster for my Gerber center drive and I ended up welding the clip so you had to feed your belt through it
Rae gear just came out with a magnetic retention holster for mags

Got one for my Leatherman rebar. There’s no pocket clips on the rebar so this should do good.

Ya after I bought mine the guy said he made some changes. Glad to hear they have improved.
@@Dawseyandsons when did you get yours? I have two for the charge one with the bit storage and one without. I got mine well over 4 years ago maybe 5.

The one that leatherman used to sell with the tool. Up until recently you could buy replacements.

Mine was tight but after a day getting hung on something the spring got loose.bent it back and LOVE IT!

Precisely which ones? The belt clip that has no spring in it? What should have been done, not wear it on a belt?
