As somebody who lives 20 minutes from the peak district, i was honestly beginning to feel quite uninspired by it, always comparing it to locations with huge mountains and lakes. This video has proved me completely wrong and inspired me to take my camera out locally. i love your outside perspective on all the places youve shot in the UK so far. You are managing to capture things most British photographers miss. great video! can't wait for the next.
Oh thank you SO much Joe! That means a lot. If I'm able to even inspire the locals :) I guess I suffer from the same uninspiredness when it comes to Denmark - which I honestly shouldn't since we do have some amazing locations :)
joe heywood so true. You could live in a place all your life and never truly experience it all or at its best. I feel like I constantly take for granted where I live here in the Pacific Northwest, but I’m trying to change that one big step outside at a time!
I think the best complement I can give you is to describe the excitement in anticipation I feel when you post a new Vlog and the slight disappointment when it comes to an end. Like your favourite TV program as a child. Your infectious enthusiasm comes across and we feel your excitement. It's also a great inspiration to get out and shoot more. I need to work less and shoot more. Thanks you, Mads. I can't wait to see The Lakes!! :-)
I learned of you and your videos yesterday on Nick Page’s podcast and I decided to check them out. I have watched two of your videos so far and they are wonderful. The information, presentation, music, etc., are great but I especially like your passion.
I'm so glad that I found you Mads, your videos are simply wonderful and your enthusiasm is very infectious. I am slowly working through all of your videos and honestly they are truly stunning. As a proud Englishman is makes me happy to hear the lovely things you say about my country. Please keep the excellent videos coming my friend. Thank you for sharing.
I am so happy to hear that you like my work! My tour through Britain was one of the best things I ever did in my life. You have a truly stunning country and I can't wait to return one day :)
Magnificent! I cannot imagine a better advertisement for the Peak District. Thank you for sharing and demonstrating that Great Britain has wonderful landscapes.
Hi Mads. Found you via Nigel Danson. Love your stuff. The picture of the line of photographers and the mist in this video is one of the finest photos I've ever seen. I don't normally like the idea of "telling a story" in landscape photos and people often distract from the scene, but this pic shows in one photo what landscape photography is all about. Love it!
Wow! What an amazing and moving video Mads. As a Englishman from the NW of the country, living overseas (USA), it brought back some incredible memories of times in Wales, Yorkshire and the Peak district. You not only have a talent for capturing the most amazing pictures, your story telling is unique and your passion for the art and scenery is truly inspiring. I've watched all of your video series and am always excited to see new content from you. Keep up the amazing work !!
Thank you so, so much Paul! I'm always so happy to hear when I wake some emotions in my viewers. Especially those nostalgic emotions :) Really happy you're following along!
The quality level of your videos is unbelievable! There is not a single one which I could not recommend. ...and in here, once again, there is amazing photography art!
I have to say the drone footage this time actually explains the whole mood perfectly, it brings the whole overpowering fog much better into perspective than a picture really can, as always you have done a fantastic Vlog and I already looking forward to next week installment
Ingo Schroeder thank you! I completely agree. It was really hard to capture it all from the ground. Only wish I had a better drone with a pro camera attached ;)
Great great video Mads. The photo with the photographers in the foreground is as stirring image as I’ve seen from you and also the reason why you have so many fan(atatic)s. Congrats!
Absolutely breathtaking drone footage and your photos on Chrome Hill are simply stunning. Really looking forward to the Lake District. My parents belonged to a hiking club many years ago and spent hours and hours walking through the area.
Nice to see familiar places. I visited this waterfall in spring. You are right, this waterfall is hard to photograph, but you managed to capture really beautiful images from there. And the fog, oh man, it was just gorgeous. This fog is the reason why I have visited UK second year now, and I haven't seen it. Maybe next year :) Keep up the good work. Love your videos, especially the moody stuff.
Hi Mads, 2nd -3rd shot of the waterfall my fav. Great drone footage. The shots are great from the top Chrome hill, but the tog shot and the shot of you 2 on the edge are EPIC. Keep these vids coming.
Another stunning episode of your Britain series Mads. The landscape gods blessed you at Chrome Hill, the video footage is simply amazing, and for me, inspirational as I had been wondering what to use my drone for and will now attempt some hill peaking out of fog shots. Yep, definitely the foremost landscape photography channel on TH-cam.
So, so good. High quality content indeed. Always a pleasure to get the notification that you have posted up a video. I hope your channel continues to grow, so that you can photograph more wonderful locations! I don't really do TH-cam (never posted a video, but somehow I have one (!) subscriber), but I will post your video up on my little blog to do my little bit!
Better and better, your vlogs just keeping getting better and better. A joy to watch and already waiting for the next. This series has shown some places in the UK I would never have known about and will strive to visit the next time I get over there. Thanks for sharing yet again. Oh, and some great images as well of course 😁
WOW! love your work, especially the waterfall images.. If you ever have the time I would be interested in watching a tutorial on your PP procedure. Thank you again for inspiring.
Simply stunning drone work in this episode. It all looked amazing.Next time you are in the UK, you need to visit Avebury Stone Circle especially if you are lucky enough to be there for a misty sunrise.
Great series of videos from England, Mads. Very inspiring and enjoyable to watch. I look forward to each new release while catching up on older ones. Thank you!
Since last month I’m watching your videos. I’m excited and I’m looking forward to the next Episode. For my taste your Videos are of high quality. The drone flights, the images, the story telling and the way you cut your videos. All this inspires me to work every day to reach my goal to have the opportunity to visit some gorgeous locations and take photographs.
Mads, the drone work.....epic, superb, displayed the grandeur perfectly! I especially LOVED the last photo with you two in the frame: a huge amount of interest, scale, tension because of the perceived precarious perches and elevation. Well done!
Amazing video ...... they all inspire me to take landscape photo's and visit this places. You are in my top list of favorite photographers because you're pictures are spectacular and you share your knowledge .... Thank you !!!!! Please keep on the fantastic work !!!
The images with the fog are out of this world! I watched the vlog twice. I understand that in Britain the earliest risers are the sheep and the photographers.
A brilliant video. Mads. Incredible drone footage and loved the still images, my two favourite ones being the second waterfall image and the picture of the six photographers in silhouette near the end. You are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm.
I'm totally with you that this was absolutely glorious. I had goosebumps too. With the fog it was just perfect. I like the image with the other photographers and the one with Sophie. Thanks for all the informations because it will be my next journey.
Stunning video once again Mads. Well done. I seriously can't wait for you to work your way up through the Lakes and into my neck of the woods in Scotland. In the meantime I shall just wait patiently 😁
I live in Lancashire and I realise I’m lucky to have the Dales, Peak District and the Lake District within 1 1/2 hours drive. Although a lot of the video is inaccessible to me you’ve made my appreciation grows. A glorious video and thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it. I’m glad to see your subscribed numbers beginning to snowball, partially for you but I’m also pleased that others are seeing your amazing work and hearing your wonderful narration.
EPIC! The only word I can think to describe what I have just watched! I was speechless as I watched that amazing drone footage Mads, what an experience mate! The image with the photographers in the foreground and the final image with two people are simply stunning. This series, unbelievably, is even better than your Iceland series and that is saying something! Brilliant, inspirational work by one of TH-cams top artists, keep it up mate and take care!🍀👌
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. I had goosebumps watching it, Mads. I am visiting the UK in January and you've certainly given me plenty of food for thought (and inspiration) with your UK series.
Hi reallly enjoy your videos I’ve watched all of the Iceland vlogs now I’ve watched a few channels on here but no one comes close to your style and the amount of details about the locations you visit can’t thank you enough for your hard work looking forward to many more vlogs cheers
An incredible vlog Mads, the Peak District is a real beautiful place. I live roughly 2 hours away from there, but I do make the ffort to try and get there at least once a month. Most recently I was in Dovedale in the southern Peak District. The conditions you found on Chrome Hill were just staggering, that vista with so much low lying cloud really gave it an other worldly feel. Awesome work, please keep it up. As a recent follower of yours, and amateur photographer, I look forward to seeing more of your vlogs and photography.
What to say? ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! As said before, each more I'm completely addicted in your vlogs, your are always surprising with your vlogs / travel videos, photos, WOW!!! And the end of the video is absolutely incredible!!! Thank you so much for sharing your photography / video, traveling knowledge!!!
Another great video Mads. Sophie is a brave girl to be stood on that outcrop for your shot. I loved the drone footage and I especially liked the '6 photographers' image. Keep it up matey.
Thank you Mads letting us participate again in a spectacular video. Could you please tell me what was your exposure time at the waterfalls. I am very much interested in your next video.
As always, spectacular! Your videos are always emotional......a rare and special treat. I only miss one little thing and that is your individual camera settings used for your displayed photos.
Thanks for your thoughts Peter, I've removed them for aesthetical reasons. If you've followed my videos you know my settings for long exposures and you don't really need other settings than that ;)
The one word to describe this episode must be EPIC! That morning fog made some of the most epic and moody conditions I have ever seen. That must have been a fantastic experience! I guess it come as no surprise to you that I really enjoyed the waterfall section as well. Superb stuff Mads! Keep it up :)
The VLOG is superb, your pictures very nice and the landscape with this weather was as stunning as unique. Your channel is an absolute pleasure to follow, please keep publishing! Cheers as well to your friend Sophie: I feel vertigo just looking at some of your pictures. How can she handle that?
Amazing foggy conditions you found on Chrome Hill! You certainly made the most of it, and having the drone really paid off. Amazing work, Mads! Sophie is a real trooper to patiently wait on those ridge lines & perilous outcrops for the light/conditions to be right for you to take the picture. Obviously she believes in what you're doing. :)
Would have been so nice to have known you would be venturing to the Peak District just to come along and say hi. Will save this to tomorrow when I am back home.
Fantastic vlog Mads. I absolutely loved the image of the photographers in the fog, a truly epic vista, and it shows what us landscape photographers do for art. But by far, for me anyway, my favourite image was the one with the single tree and the lone sheep as it wanders through the mist, fantastic!
Another epic video Mads! Really enjoyed this and can see that you’ve really upped your game with your productions. I like the mix of vlogging and voiceover, it just works. Incredible drone footage yet again and superb photographs. Well done, you’re knocking it out of the park!!
Outstanding & truly professional vlog, it was like a documentary on TV, I enjoyed everything but what had me spellbound was the photos of the photographers from behind & your companion on the pinnacle with you(I think) further away. Jaw dropping, I watched it on a Large format 4K TV. It was beyond excellent, superb production values. MPI, I thank you for sharing the experience.
That image with the photographers in the foreground - that is something else. An award winner for sure.
Thanks a lot! Yeah I really love that shot - the internet didn't pay much attention though ;)
This young man is endearing and inspiring, epic videos, fantastic photographs underpinned by humility and a joy for life.
Bloody marvellous.
Awww thank you, Andrew! :)

Steve Bott yeah, I normally don't know where I go. It often depends a lot on the weather, so can't really predict the precise location ;)
Thank you very much Darren! Yes we indure so much, but it almost always pays off ;)
A day in a million.. a day to remember!
Wow!
It may have been foggy but it made for one outstanding video. Your drone footage was awesome and your stills amazing Mads.
Thank you very much Gary! :)
Outstanding video blog you have here.:-)
Thank you very much Lit! :)
Another interesting vlog. Nice work 👍🏻
Thank you Medwyn :)
Another epic video Mads! Really enjoyed this and can see that you’ve really upped your game with your productions. I like the mix of vlogging and voiceover, it just works. Incredible drone footage yet again and superb photographs. Well done, you’re knocking it out of the park!!
So happy to hear you like the format Ciara and the extra work I've done to up the production :)
Robert hudson thank you so much! Must have looked stunning! Wish I could film everything in 4k!
Really enjoying your videos, thanks.
Thanks a lot! Happy to hear that :)
