WOW! WOW! WOW! What an awe inspiring vlog Mads! The images, the music, the cinematography and your dialogue combine to make one of the best vlogs I have watched this year......seriously! You actually spilled blood for this one mate! This video contains some of the best images you have ever made, quite brilliant! I wait, with baited breath, for whatever comes next but please take care!🍀👌
Number 5 for sheer awesomeness. I have walked these amazing mountains so many times over the last 3 decades but seeing them through fresh eyes was a real pleasure.
I like 2 and 4 the most. number two because the tree is the star of the photo, and the colors adds to the atmosphere. number four because of all the lead in lines, and the different layers of the photo. Nice and dramatic sky.
Number 4 for me. Love the water and mountains. Also good to see more 100% of you to camera. Shows so much more of what you needed to do to get the epic shots.
Number 5 is my favourite. I have climbed Tryfan many times and in all weathers and it is always rewarding. Love the moody sky contrasting with the smooth water of Lyn Ogwen. The foreground stream nicely balances with the dark mountain. All of your photos have a dark foreboding quality which strikes a chord in me. Thank you.
I am one of the lucky people to live in Wales, and you my friend are a photographer and communicator extraordinaire. Thank you for visiting Snowdonia and sharing your adventures. Bravo !!. You are a true lens poet.
A great video for a number of reasons. Not only is this about photography, but also what natural treasures we have in the UK. The nice touch is Made stating how long it will take to hike, the clothes you will need, footway, first aid all of the things that might be forgotten in a pursuit of getting that epic photo ! Well done Mads
Gorgeous, as always, all the photos are beautiful, but for me, one is the best, a stream with a mountain in the background.....I love how you captured the stream, the dramatic sky and the great light passing through the clouds...Just Amazing...
Another great episode from the series Mads, a fantastic area I've visited before but I've not visited some of the locations you did here - you must do loads of planning for your trips! Number 5 for me this time, I love the composition and how the shape of the river reflects the shape of the mountains forming an oval shape in the image. Looking forward to the next episode!
❤ the first shot. Love the lonely tree, goes to show that can definitely get great shots with crappy weather. The boathouse was super nice. You can see why it’s so popular. Love the mood of the mountain scene. Castle of the winds is so cool, crazy venture to get to though.
This episode is next level Mads! So inspiring and honest, a joy to watch, many Thanks. To me the images 5 and 6 touched me the most. Color, mood and composition are top notch. Keep up the great work!
as someone who lives in southern england it is really refreshing seeing this series and an eye opener to all these beautiful locations that are just on my door!
Mads you have convinced me that even with the over photographed areas, you can come away with something totally unique. What beautiful images you were able to capture in spite of the stormy weather. I could not decide which of those images I liked the best, because they were all unique to the location and the mood. Thank you for sharing the details of your journey.
Fascinating adventure and story. A bit more than a hike I would say! I have not seen the Glyders in any photo vlogs, glad you made me aware of it. Sophie must be in very good shape, you too! Hats off to you. I don't know why operators such as those at the abbey get so freaked with photographers, especially tripods. Really enjoying your vlogs and experiencing your photographic journey. Oh, good music too,
Thank you so much Steve and happy I could show you a new location :) I have no clue either... I don't know why they think photographers are so problematic :P
Stunning video Mads ! I like picture nr 2 for the isolation of the tree and the dramatic clouds, nr 5 the foreground leading into the lake with the wonderful ambient and of course nr 6 is epic (in your words) and your companion let us experience the scale of it all. Keep up the great work !!!! You're literally a big influence for my photography and travel !!!
Absolutely brilliant!!!! All the pictures are stunning but my vote would go to number 5 as Tryfan is a special place for me, having made many visits and climbed it many times many years ago. I have visited Snowdonia earlier this year and now I realise I need another trip and to wander a little farther from the car park, thank you.
Thank you so much for this treat Mads. Great tips, drama, well-chosen music and really inspiring and beautiful photography. The best vlog on TH-cam. Number 5 is outstanding. I would hang it on my wall.
This trip to the UK should be a tv series. Superb work in every aspect and I love the simple and clear narration and facts you give about each location. You are showing me places in my own country I have never seen before. Thank you
Another brilliant one, Mads!! If I had to choose it would be that lonely tree one. It is so calm and deep I just can't get past to it!!! Congrats man!!!!
I can feel with you. I made the same tour but was suprised by heavy clouds 50 metres before the top. But at the same day I was on Crib Goch for sunrise. It was the most epic scene I ever witnessed. And it's only a 2 mile hike one direction (but quite difficult the last half mile).
Amazing video, speechless. Stunning area, and the pics you got are incredible. I’m not able to choose, which one I like most, because I like them all. The drama in the sky and the strong contrasts makes them all annoying. Thank you for sharing this with us. And thanks also to Sofie!
I've only recently in the last 6 months started my photography journey, a bit ago subscribed to your channel going through a lot of videos and I find this Gem. only half way through the video and loving it so far. I live about 20 minutes from Snowdonia and watching something so personal and picking up tips along the way has been very enjoyable! Love the vid and also good pronunciations of the places a lot of people find Welsh very difficult! Thank you for doing what you do.
In awe we are exalted. Well done Mads for sticking with it. There were some tough conditions there, which enabled a few excellent compositions. I think you're going to have to return. I am enjoying your journey and your thoughts very much. Take care and all the best. Mark
You've done it again Mads. Stunning vlog, Stunning images. I choose image 5. I too love the imagery of Lord of the rings and you nailed it with this image. The best compliment a photographer can receive is the phrase " I wish I had taken this shot "....I do. I can't wait for the Lake District vlog. It's an area I'm more familiar with. Thanks again Mads. :)
What a great vlog, I love your positivity and challenging yourself to take some epic shots in the stormy weather. If you're in a location that you may never get the chance to return to you have to make the best of what your given!
Inspirational !!! This is the kind of photography you don't usually see, the hikes, the locations, how to get there etc. You're actually out in the field showing us what you're doing - Thanks so much for videos like these!!
Absolutely agree with your point about bad weather! We just did a vlog in the French Alps in 'awful' weather and it really forced us to look harder for good compositions. Bad weather can really help you to find more unique images, especially in areas that have already been well photographed. Great video, thank you!
I did this trip 2 years ago and visited some of these places but you have shed new light on what to shoot and I love the "bad" weather. Don't do the long hikes though to old for that.
This video is just superb! Thanks so much for it, I visited Snowdonia last week and had to visit most of these locations! We had a disappointing day at the top of the Glyders though as we couldn’t see the Castle of the Winds through the clouds. I’ll be back for that shot another time! 😊
I am completely fan of your videos where we discover fantastic sites and where we learn a lot. 5.6 and 2.3 provides superb images of this region that I do not know yet. There is in the video a passage with your wife in silhouette between the rock formations in the clouds which is superb and who deserved to be in the 6 finals. I do not know how you do not have drops on your filters in such conditions. A thing?. Welcome from Paris.Thank you
Great video Mads. This is my favorite. It's so unique and a great price of art. Very amazing to see how great pictures can come out of bad weather. Thank you.
Very hard decision as ever. 5 though. Sheer epicness and a real sense as a viewer of being able to walk into that landscape. Incredible mountains and the way you’ve captured the foreground. Amazing!
Superb video! You're selflessly very generous with your knowledge, slkills & advice. Photo No. 5 is my favourite. It has the mood of natural elements tormented and tortured by some evil force, it has the wide sweeping vista giving a sense of scale, a very engaging layering of foreground, middle & backgrounds... brutal movement at the bottom only mirrored by that of the ominous clouds above. It's just a fantastic image in my view. Congrats!
My pick would be # 2. Great composition, strong subject . I like # 5 too. Reminds me when I was Kirkjufell but then the fall of the water towards the right. Funny about the bad weather. Everytime I go on a trip I hope for bad weather when it comes to photography. Of course when I'm done shooting I want beautiful weather LOL
Haha Clemens yeah that's how think too! Good weather at sunrise, bad weather during day, good weather at sunset and clear weather during night - and then no sleep ;)
So glad you enjoyed Snowdonia. It's my favourite place to go and the place that got me hooked into landscape photography two years ago. I'm lucky to live a reasonably close distance to the park ☺ I'm just waiting for the snow to arrive to go back this year. One of my favourite videos you've produced so far mads.
One of the best vlogs photographing landscapes I have seen. Informative, captivating and so very well presented, 30 minutes of pure magic. Off to catch up with your other presentations. Thank you and good luck with your endeavours.
It’s great to see you enjoying Snowdonia, which is my stomping ground. I think you did exceptionally well those conditions which looked more challenging than usual! You would love Snowdonia in mid winter after a snowfall! The Glyders are always unpredictable - I’ve had a blinding blue sky after a snowfall with visibility around five miles and also I’ve been up there in June with visibility around 50 metres…
sometimes the best things you bring home are the experiences of being there. However, still stunning photos!! and omg what a video. Image 6 for me: the shear guile you had to expend to even get there.
Welcome to my back yard Mads, been looking forward for this one and it certainly didn't disappoint. Great effort getting up to Castell y Gwynt, there is a slightly different route which you may have found a little less strenuous. My favorite image has to be number 5, I love the composition. Like I said previously if you end up this neck of the woods in the future keep me posted as there plenty more locations worth checking out both in Snowdonia and Anglesey.
Thank you so much Elgan! I will! I really felt that I could easily spent way more time in Snowdonia than I did... It's a fantastic rough and epic landscape!
After so many episodes, I'm still surprised how you managed to create such an intense 30 minute video, I haven't checked the time not even once while watching, phew! Great work again :) Number 5 works best for me, all the elements beautifully composed together :)
I have been waiting for the Snowdonia video as it is a location that I visit as often as I can and wanted to see your perspective of it. I was not disappointed,Great video and amazing images.I very much look forward to the next in the series.
Wow, what a stunning experience. Wonderful images, just great. When I have to choose I prefere 4and 5, which reflect for me very much the mood and atmosphere of the region. Thank you for this wonderful video.
Great vlog Mads and cracking images, I've been to the Ogwen valley many many times though it's hardly in my backyard either. A three hour drive from home and I'm there. A little less than your travel time I guess 🤣. I planned to spend a night on top of the Gilders last year and catch both sunrise and sunset from the castle of the winds in one visit but it never materialized due to low cloud and rain forecast each time so I'll certainly make an effort to do it this year. With a bit of luck (and careful planning) might possibly get a cloud inversion too which would be epic. Keep up the good work Mads and look forward to seeing your future vlogs, more importantly stay safe.
What a great movie, Mads! Informative, entertaining and most of all with personality. Love it! Thank you so much for your passion and dedication in doing this to share with us. Cannot say how much it is appreciated, my friend.
Terrific episode in your Britain series, really enjoyed the longer video. Snowdonia is just so hard to photograph, spent a week there last May and didn't get a single good shot. Have to vote for #5 this week, such a superb landscape photograph.
Thank you so much Joe! I thought it would be harder, but I was lucky with the weather I guess - obviously I would have made other choices if I had clear weather and nice sunrises/sunsets :)
Another incredible vlog Mads!! I've never actually been to Tintern Abbey, but now I know I must. I have climbed around the Carneddau, Glyderau ranges, Cwm Idwal and Tryfan. Northern Snowdonia is possibly one of my favourite places in the world, but none of my images do the justice to it that yours do. Just awesome Mads, please keep up the great work. You've made an avid subscriber out of me!
Hi Mads, this was with out doubt one of the best vlogs i`ve seen, if not the best.number 5 for me, composition, mood,i think it had every thing including sheer persevereance, well done
An absolutely stunning video. My favourite image was of Tinton Abbey (#1). Very atmospheric and telling a wonderful story. Thank you for sharing your thought processes when trying to shoot long exposures in windy conditions. Learnt a lot, thank you.
Awesome video, Mads. I am planning a trip to Snowdonia in January and have been searching for videos from the area. Your video is definitely the best and has given me some great inspiration.
Mads, I enjoyed this video enormously. I live in Capel Curig in Snowdonia which is very close to all the locations in this film. Your images here are wonderful and I am thrilled you enjoyed your visit and rose to the challenge of our capricious weather. Bravo :)
Mads, Loved this video, one of the things I love about photography, is the challenge of the shot in some cases. I see you doing this all the time to get that shot. I love the locations you have been to, love watching your videos and seeing the compositions you are able to walk away with. Love the music you put with your videos! Extremely creative. Not sure if you even realized that you created a quotable moment here. I will be using this and attributing it to you from now on. "When the conditions are as they are, the art is the work with it, or around it, and adjust to the scene." I love that. Can't wait for Covide to get under control to get out there. I have a trip to Japan in April! here is Hoping!!! Thank you for this video Mads, great as usual.!
My playground 🙃 You’ve shown our mountains in all it’s bad weather in such a great way. I agree with windy castle (it’s what my family call it) there are no real ways to show it’s glory in an image, I’ve tried. I have been up there countless times in all weather including snow / ice and it’s tough - well done for trying again. Great shots anyway, all good 👍🏼
This was an amazing video!! I love how you are continuing the "Pick your favorite shot" theme. Not only does it make us feel involved, its actually a good exercise for us to study the images, and really think about why we like them. With that said, my favorite is number 4, followed by number 2. In number 4, I like the use of the water as a leading line, to the mountain,. While it is a leading line, it is not obvious, and there is some definite interest along the path to the mountain, if that makes sense. I also like the moodiness of the clouds. In shot number 2, This image invokes a sense of isolation. It resonates with me very much, because often times, I feel alone and isolated, with the storms of life brewing above me. It may not have the same meaning for others, but it does create an emotion. I am now agreeing with you about the weather. Before my trip to Iceland, i hated the rain!! I live in the PNW, so you can imagine how much rain we get. But after I went to Iceland, and learned that rain or stormy conditions, while not pleasant to shoot in, can create some amazing atmospheric images, I have learned to embrace the rain. Now I look forward to that type of weather, and almost am starting to prefer it. All the images here are amazing. Looking forward to your next vlog.
Thank you again for your thoughts Candice! I'm really happy when someone can take a picture of mine and interpret it in their own way. It means quite a lot I think for a lot of artists that thy can wake an emotion in people :) I'm happy you like the rain now - you should actually watch the interview Nick Page has with Ryan Dyar (on Nicks TH-cam channel) here he also talks about a very moody trip to Iceland :)
Fantastic! I live in Wales, but disability precludes me from getting to some of the places you visited, so I was mightily impressed with your efforts and truly appreciate seeing them from a photographer's point of view. Perhaps the next time you are over here, you might consider visiting Pembrokeshire, my home, which is also a spectacular National Park. I'd love to see what works you could produce from our stunning coastal scenery. Good luck with your endeavours.
Brilliant video I spend a lot if time in Ogwen Valley and really enjoyed you vid. The Glyders is like a scene from Game of Thrones and a mystical part if Snowdonia. I am staying out on Sunday in Ogwen to get some night shots may be stay opposite Tryfan after watching this . Thanks for sharing mate
Fantastic video, Mads...with some amazing pictures. Especially those with Tryfan in the background. Snowdonia is my favourite location to go in Britain. Been there recently and had a terrible weather with pouring rain and strong wind...but some photos turned out well so bad weather really is sometimes a good weather :)
Another brilliant blog Mads! Love all of the images but for me 5 was just a little more WOW! For me, you are the blogger to watch. Others are good but you just have that little extra that resonates with me. Keep the good work going!
Superb video yet again Peter. The atmosphere coming through in the video is only equalled by your narration but surpassed by the images that follow. I love North Wales but don't get up there enough from my location in South Wales. Your analogy of this LOTR Landscape comes through perfectly in your images but none more so that in image 5 for me. With your cut you left a bit of yourself on the mountain so will have to return to claim it back - perhaps then Castell y Gwynt will present itself in a more favourable light. .
Welcome to Britain and some classic Brittish weather! lol I totally get what you are saying about the bad weather. I just spent a few days in the Lake District and I had pretty well nothing but grey, overcast weather. I haven't processed the images yet, but I'm sure I'll be able get something from my time. I thought your images were stunning though. They really captured the mood and grandure of the area. I also thought your tips on mountain safety were important to highlight. I follow many of them myself and I was glad I had a head torch on Sat when it was almost pitch black when I descended from a hill in the Lake District. Anyway so many good images to pick from, but I'm going with number 5 this time. I love a big mountain view, but additional points for making it work so well in bad weather!
As I thought, awesome video my friend, it was lovely to see where I have rock climbed so much 10 odd years ago, now I’m into Photography, looking at Snowdon through photographers eyes, you have given me a yearning to go back there and photograph the area, maybe even dig out my climbing shoes! I hope you went to the ‘Alpine cafe’ in Beth’s-y-coed, and visited Swallow falls just up the road! I look forward to your next video!
well done, I really enjoyed watching the whole video. my fav is #5 which has all in it what the scene offers you in a great composition and which is a world class image :)
Great work Mads, some very nice locations and your images definitely capture the mood and beauty of a great location regardless of the weather. My image choice for this Vlog, is number 5. Despite the visual turmoil of the stream as it bubbles by you and the menacing dark clouds overhead, I find it a very relaxing and pleasing composition. Well done mate and keep them coming.
Excellent video, love your attitude...I'm from Donegal and have very similar terrain in my backyard, but I don't photograph it that often because of weather like this, but hopefully this video has changed my mind! Thanks for posting!
WOW! WOW!
HAha thank you so much Andy! I did spill a bit of blood yeah, but I'll be fine for now as I'm back home in safe little Denmark ;)
yes and leaving plates in the toilet is bad news!!
Thank you so much for your thoughts Jacob! :)
Number 4 for me. Love the water and mountains. Also good to see more 100% of you to camera. Shows so much more of what you needed to do to get the epic shots.
Very happy you enjoy the vlog parts :)
Taking a handicap and turning it into your style. Love your desire to go beyond the golden hours of perfect sunshine.
Thank you very much, Jordan! Yes I think it's very important. I most often prefer this style over the classic golden hour shots :)
#2 is very good because the tree being retained from falling by the left mountain, great work Mads!
Thanks a lot Michel! :)
Thank you.
Fantastic film again Mads - 5 all the way for me, just stunning.
Thank you so much Andrew!
the image 5 you showed of the waterfall, lake and Tryfan was spectacular. as you said bad weather makes great photos.
Thanks Jason! :)
What a journey. Sofie is truly a trooper. Beautiful landscape and images.
I am one of the lucky people to live in Wales, and you my friend are a photographer and communicator extraordinaire. Thank you for visiting Snowdonia and sharing your adventures. Bravo !!. You are a true lens poet.
Thank you very much, Ron! That means a lot, such a sweet comment! :)
Wonderful video, love the dramatic, moody skies. Hard to pick a favorite photo, they were all so nice and each one had a story to tell.
Thanks a bunch Nina! :)
Superb Mads, strenuous but well worth it and your Tavel companion Sophie is one in a million well done to you both.
Thanks a lot Phil! And yes she is! :)
Gorgeous, as always, all the photos are beautiful, but for me, one is the best, a stream with a mountain in the background.....I love how you captured the stream, the dramatic sky and the great light passing through the clouds...Just Amazing...
Thank you so much Jiri! :)

Number 5 for me this time, I love the composition and how the shape of the river reflects the shape of the mountains forming an oval shape in the image.
Looking forward to the next episode!
Thanks a bunch for your thoughts Dan :)
I do quite a lot of planning yes :)
Wow. Easily the absolute best travel/landscape vlog I've watched on TH-cam. Stunning.
Thank you so much! That means a lot! There're some really nice vlogs out there :)
❤ the first shot. Love the lonely tree, goes to show that can definitely get great shots with crappy weather. The boathouse was super nice. You can see why it’s so popular. Love the mood of the mountain scene. Castle of the winds is so cool, crazy venture to get to though.

It's always good to wander further away from the carpark! :)
Thank you so much for this treat Mads. Great tips, drama, well-chosen music and really inspiring and beautiful photography. The best vlog on TH-cam. Number 5 is outstanding. I would hang it on my wall.
Thank you so much Peter! Yeah I've really put a lot of energy into finding the right music :)
What an amazing video, Snowdonia will be on my list. I do like picture No5 the best, Iove the stream in the foreground!!!
Thanks a lot, Sander and thanks for your thoughts :)
This trip to the UK should be a tv series. Superb work in every aspect and I love the simple and clear narration and facts you give about each location. You are showing me places in my own country I have never seen before. Thank you
Thanks Peter..... another nice vlog from you..... looking forward to the next one :)
You're very welcome :)
You outdid yourself on this one. And I was glad to hear you mention Sophie. She's a trooper, God love her. Oh -- No. 3.
Thanks a lot Richard :) Yeah she is indeed!
Brilliant thank you. I had been holding off going to Snowdonia when the weather is bad. No excuses now!
Another brilliant one, Mads!! If I had to choose it would be that lonely tree one. It is so calm and deep I just can't get past to it!!!
Congrats man!!!!
Thanks a bunch Hugo! Happy you enjoyed :)

Jens Sieckmann I need to check that out next time I'm there :)
For an appetizer you may take a look at that: www.jens-sieckmann.de/_MG_4415.jpg
fantastic video with wow effect, and the pictures
Great. More of it please
I take my hat off to both of you
Thank you very much Frank! :)
Photos are awesome and Sophie is awesome to for accompanying you on these difficult journeys
Amazing video, speechless. Stunning area, and the pics you got are incredible. I’m not able to choose, which one I like most, because I like them all. The drama in the sky and the strong contrasts makes them all annoying. Thank you for sharing this with us. And thanks also to Sofie!
Thank you so much Anja and you're very welcome :)
As Andy Keeble said. I love your work but your view of the UK is something else. Brilliant buddy
Thank you so much Paul! I so much appreciate when locals like my work!
Like is an understatement ;)
I've only recently in the last 6 months started my photography journey, a bit ago subscribed to your channel going through a lot of videos and I find this Gem. only half way through the video and loving it so far. A pleasure!
Amazing! That photo at15:30 is spectacular. Now subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more and catching up on the ones you have already posted.
Thank you so much! Yeah I really love that shot too :)
You've done it again Mads. Stunning vlog, Stunning images. I choose image 5. I too love the imagery of Lord of the rings and you nailed it with this image. Thank you so much Kevin! I'm happy you like that image, it's also my favorite ;)
Inspirational film with some of the best images of Tryfan i have seen... thank you!
Another splendid vlog, amazing back drop!
Thank you very much Bob! :)
What a great vlog, I love your positivity and challenging yourself to take some epic shots in the stormy weather. If you're in a location that you may never get the chance to return to you have to make the best of what your given!

I do not know how you do not have drops on your filters in such conditions. A thing?. Welcome from Paris.Thank you
Haha thank you :)
I have some tips for that in my blogpost:

Thanks for coming to visit us in Wales!
Whàt a fantastic vlog on Snowdonia some awe inspiring photography Mads
Great video Mads. This is my favorite. It's so unique and a great price of art. Very amazing to see how great pictures can come out of bad weather. Thank you.
Thank you very much Mehrab :)
Very hard decision as ever. 5 though. Sheer epicness and a real sense as a viewer of being able to walk into that landscape. Incredible mountains and the way you’ve captured the foreground. Amazing!
Thank you so much Laurence! :)
Congrats!
Thank you so much for your thoughts! Very happy about how you describe it :)
Amazing vlog Mads. Some of the most moody and stunning images of Snowdonia I have ever seen! Simply incredible
Thank you SO much Philip :)
Fabulous !!!! A very inspiring video and such stunning photography. I dont think I have seen better. Thank you for sharing.
You are very welcome John! I'm happy you liked it :)
Thanks a lot Richard! I'm very happy to hear that :)
Thank you so much Nina! But really happy the 30min didn't feel boring :) It's also four days of footage put into one ;)
I have been waiting for the Snowdonia video as it is a location that I visit as often as I can and wanted to see your perspective of it. I was not disappointed,Great video and amazing images.I very much look forward to the next in the series.
Thank you very much Richard! :) I envy you for being able to visit it that often :)
Great no.5 for me great composition
Thanks for your thoughts Mike :)
Loved the Snowdonia trip, it's just down the road from me, thank you for sharing, now i've gotta go watch the rest of your video's, thank you
You're welcome Adrian, good luck :)
I sign under every word of Andy Keeble! I loved everything in this vlog and particularly the colours and the mood - they are my favourite!
Thank you so much Loreta! :)
the 4 and the 5 are breathtaking !
Thank you Mark :)
Wow, what a stunning experience. Wonderful images, just great. When I have to choose I prefere 4and 5, which reflect for me very much the mood and atmosphere of the region. Thank you for this wonderful video.
You're very welcome Wilfried and thank you for your thoughts :)
Thank you so much Kai! It means the world :)
You inspire me greatly, your insight, perspective, commentary, and overall philosophical wisdom.. priceless M8! Thank you , very much.
Terrific episode in your Britain series, really enjoyed the longer video. Snowdonia is just so hard to photograph, spent a week there last May and didn't get a single good shot. Have to vote for #5 this week, such a superb landscape photograph.
Thank you so much Joe! I thought it would be harder, but I was lucky with the weather I guess - obviously I would have made other choices if I had clear weather and nice sunrises/sunsets :)
really enjoyed your visit to Snowdon, great images Mads,
Thanks a lot, happy you liked it :)
Thank you so much Gareth! Means a lot you like my work! :)
Hi Mads, this was with out doubt one of the best vlogs i`ve seen, if not the best.number 5 for me, composition, mood,i think it had every thing including sheer persevereance, well done
Thank you so much Peter! Much appreciated :)
An absolutely stunning video. My favourite image was of Tinton Abbey (#1). Very atmospheric and telling a wonderful story. Thank you for sharing your thought processes when trying to shoot long exposures in windy conditions. Learnt a lot, thank you.
You are very welcome Tony, happy you learned something :)
This is easily one of the best photography videos I've ever seen
Thank you very much Lewis! Means a lot :)
number 4. your videos are gettig better and better, really enjoyed this one.
Thank you very much Tibor! :)
Awesome video, Mads. I am planning a trip to Snowdonia in January and have been searching for videos from the area. Your video is definitely the best and has given me some great inspiration.
Thanks a lot Richard! Really happy the video works :)
Mads, I enjoyed this video enormously. I live in Capel Curig in Snowdonia which is very close to all the locations in this film. Your images here are wonderful and I am thrilled you enjoyed your visit and rose to the challenge of our capricious weather. Bravo :)
Thank you so much Nick! Very happy to hear that from a local! I envy you for living there :)
My playground 🙃
You’ve shown our mountains in all it’s bad weather in such a great way.
I agree with windy castle (it’s what my family call it) there are no real ways to show it’s glory in an image, I’ve tried.
I have been up there countless times in all weather including snow / ice and it’s tough - well done for trying again.
Great shots anyway, all good 👍🏼
Loved you first videos! But these last two longer ones is just a fantastic new World. Keep it up !
Thanks a bunch Michael! :) Happy you like the format.
It means quite a lot I think for a lot of artists that thy can wake an emotion in people :)
I'm happy you like the rain now - you should actually watch the interview Nick Page has with Ryan Dyar (on Nicks TH-cam channel) here he also talks about a very moody trip to Iceland :)
Thank you very much, Pete! I'd love to return to Wales for sure. Thanks for the location tip and I'm happy you enjoyed the video :)
Very happy you enjoyed the video! Good luck shooting :)
Stunning story, thank you for great inspiration. I will definitely go there In the future.
You are very welcome Lasse! :)
Bad weather is indeed good weather and I agree about Snowdonia! Such a magical place :)
No#5 is awesome. Shows the scale and epicness of Castell Y Gwynt. 👌🏾
Thanks a lot Tasha, happy you liked that one :)
With your cut you left a bit of yourself on the mountain so will have to return to claim it back - perhaps then Castell y Gwynt will present itself in a more favourable light. .
Thank you so much! Such a nice compliment! I'd love to go back one day during other conditions :)
Good info and nice video scenes and photography! You make really nice videos Mads!😀👊
Great job with the Lonely Tree! Well done!
Another excellent video with some stunning photos, can’t make up my mind which one I like the best
Thank you very much Julian! Yes it's important to stay safe! Looking forward to see what you've brought back from LD :)
Thank you so much Haydn! Sadly I didn't get to that location - lots of compromises :/
well done, I really enjoyed watching the whole video. my fav is #5 which has all in it what the scene offers you in a great composition and which is a world class image :)
Thank you very much Karl! :)
Thank you Darren! Yeah trying to find some nice compositions in dramatic conditions can offer some relaxing results :)
👍 for Sophie, image number 5, moody, atmospheric scene that epitomises Snowdonia and North Wales.
Thank you very much again Mark! Yeah Sophies a sweetheart! Amazing girl :)
Excellent video, love your attitude...I'm from Donegal and have very similar terrain in my backyard, but I don't photograph it that often because of weather like this, but hopefully this video has changed my mind! Thanks for posting!
I hope it has Adrian! Thank you so very much :)
