@SkyNet General the rock is really good. Bad boys 1/2 are fun. Pain and gain is good as well as the first transformers. I feel like Michael bay is the type of the director that if you have him an r rating and lower the budget, he can pull out a solid movie.

Man I love hearing little tidbits about how certain popular movie scenes or lines came about. Especially when it comes to Bad Boys because that’s one of my favorite franchises. Crazy how Martin took offense to that line and Bay made Will keep poking the bear haha. Great moment in that movie. “Two bitches in the sea” lmao

@Frank Lopez The Rock, Bad Boys 1, Transformers 1(the only good Transformers film and good popcorn flick), Armageddon (Fun Popcorn Flick), Ambulance (Another fun Popcorn Flick) and 13 Hours which is actually a great, great film! So no... He has some gems and not all of his films are trash! Most of them are long tho and don't have to be that long.

Michael Bay is one of several people I'd disliked for no legit reason than because the internet told me to. He got his start early, getting grounded for a stunt he pulled when he was young. It's well known that he specializes in action movies. If I were an actor, I'd be typecast in a lot of action roles (as well as dramas/soaps). He admits that he makes movies not for critical appraisal, but for fun, and I gotta respect him for that. There is one thing we have in common: we're both unmarried and without kids. I'll undoubtedly stay that way if I were to reach his age. Yeah, I give up. I'm not some pretentious movie critic; just a consumer who finds watching Bay movies as a good way to kill time (The Rock and The Island have been on my watchlist as of late). I still wouldn't call myself a fan of his; I just don't hate him as much as I used to
Hey. You should read Armond White's reviews of Bay. I think he's a visual genius. Ridley Scott has talked about how great Bay's digital kinetic abilities are.
