About the compression... I've watched a few videos saying that pop artists utilize compression to make it sound louder. Pop music is generally played in public areas: the louder the sound, the more attention it draws, and the more revenue it brings in, but it sacrifices rich tones and good quality sounds. Michelle Dai I know how compression works. But I really appreciate the research you did. I was just mentioning how Forever Young is so much more compressed compared to the other songs on the album. You would think there would be consistency in the mastering and as a top music company, they wouldn't squash the track so much as they did 😂😂😂

It's great but the vocal lead is *very* flat. I understand that it's really hard to make it sound good though scince you don't have the source for the vocal chop Teddy and YG used as you said. Overall this is awesome.

It was supposed to be released in their debut album in 2016 but jennie said in an interveiw that they took it out and edited the song some more, so maybe it did take 3 years idk
