It makes even less sense because they’re claiming server issues due to hackers. The servers had already been shut down indefinitely 10 months ago in January 2024, and they’ve been still selling it ever since no problem. It still has a single player campaign. At least they should put it on deep sale leading up to delist to give more people access to it if they want it. Or just give it away and then delist it. Not like they’ll be making any money once it’s gone anyway. They couldn’t even give that to people and need to squeeze every dollar they can up until the end. Lol. Good thing they spent 400 million on Concord instead of fixing LBP. From a game preservation standpoint this is also terrible and this game will be lost to history.
What makes this even more insulting is that they're apparently bringing back that pointless dumpster fire (Concord) instead of using that money to fix LittleBigPlanet servers. You know, a game people actually care about...No one asked for Concord. And yet they're obsessed with this stupid game for whatever reason. LittleBigPlanet 3 was still decently active with new levels and community activities up until the shutdown. Sony should've alerted this delistment months in advance instead of announcing at the last minute. Its impossible to get hundreds of dollars worth of DLC's on such a short time frame.
Actually insane. I mean, iit's freaking LittleBigPlanet. A 1st party exclusive that's still very iconic for PlayStation. And it's not like we can play any of the other LBP games on PS4/PS5 either. Truly a massive loss. I was thinking maybe it's licensing related but if so why couldn't they just delist the DLCs instead? Really weird for them to just give up on it like that and delist it completely... wow
Ngl if I cant play a game where online is a major feature to the game, crashes all the time and looses save data, I wouldn't keep it in the store either but they literally butchered that game
@@Greggacha12 well actually you can still play LBP 3 completely offline on PS4 and PS5 via hardware disc based backwards compatibility via automatic remastered.
@@alexraj9436well actually dude the real breaking point of this game is that you can still play it completely offline if you still got it physically and play it on the PS5 physically via disc hardware based backwards compatibility with automatic remaster feature.

this is the worst year ever now way im gonna cry. anthor thing: hey sony idk why are you doing this but this is the best game ever to play and you will take it away please atleast let it be for 7 years beacuse i want to play it so bad.
@@Chino-Kafu Sony gives up on a tone of their IPs so we will sadly probably never get a LBP4 Heres some examples Bloodborne, Jak and Daxter, Infamous, Killzone, MediEvil, Ape Escape, Patapon, LocoRoco, etc

this series is way better than the overrated minecraft
I wouldn't say Minecraft is overrated, it just wants to do something different than little big planet.
ARE YOU SERIOUS!? i never really read the post, i just read what people said about it! And they only pointed out the DLC removal 😭
RIP to both little big planet and my wallet, gonna have to spend about $100+ on dlc I missed out on just to have it
You might still be able to buy the lbp1 dlc on ps3 once lbp3 gets delisted maybe

Wait delisting puts the price up? Time to go to my local game store to buy all the copies 😂
