Looking back at this video after 1 year later, i am so grateful how this video got attention and got tons of positive feedback more than negative feedback. @@nessnessness666 I'll sure replay all the trilogy one day. This game legit taught me to be who I am now and I couldn't be more grateful towards Media Molecule and all the amazing developers that put so much love in the game. Its no joke for me to say that LBP is one of (if not) the best exclusive that Sony has till this day. I discovered my passion to draw because of this game, to make great things for people to experience, to be more creative in various situations, heck, my first true friends I met was in LBP2, because I had crazy social anxiety so I couldn't even start a conversation without panicking in real life. I have countless precious memories, and I'm just so sad that kids these days will not be able to experience the LBP community. Yet I'm happy that they can still play the game and have a blast like I did back in the day.
Those photos aren’t cringe, if anything, they perfectly capture how LBP was at the time, how fun and creative and amazing the game was and how no matter what you could always have so so SO much fun and looking at them can remind and bring you back to when you were younger, and i love that. The photos made me cry (positively) for that exact reason, despite them not even being mine. It goes to show how significant LBP was to not just you but thousands of others, even if the photos aren’t theirs, it can feel like it was because we all took similar photos, photos of us just having fun 🫶 and i will miss that when the game (sadly) finally gets deleted this year on the 31st
amazing video, the bonus was very well needed and brought back lots of nostalgia i miss 2014/2016 as it was honestly near the peak of lbp2 right before modding became big, and as i do like modding, i like vanilla lbp2 from 2014/2016 more.
Let's be real, the original had the most creative and memorable OST, but they are all good. I remember playing the original as a kid within the first year it came out and being amazed at how good the graphics were.
2:22 This is accurate to how I feel when I listen to the LBP2 pod music. It's so good that I even felt compelled to remixed it (privately, for myself a very very old friend from this game). Edit: For context, the remix I made, I did actually want to publish to honour this game but licencing... I contacted Kenny Young about the licencing legality, and Sony holds all of them, lock and key. Best I could do is throw it on YT but it'd be nice to have something like that on Spotify so those who do remember this awesome universe can go on a damn journey with me lol. Ugh 😔
I remember playing LBP2 whenever i had time when i was a kid. Those were my favorite memories cause I could play LBP for countless hours and never get tired of it I honestly miss playing it online.
The ending made me cry man, that's beautiful, all of us who clicked on here have had a core memory of our lives (in my case childhood) taken away when the servers were shut down, and seeing someone with such similar experiences and memories brought tears to me.
I won't lie when the pictures you took with your PS3 showed up I started to tear up a little, those were the moments that defined what LBP was all about and what you (and all the people in those pictures that played with you) found worthy of remembering. Thank you for this nostalgic trip :)
for me "volver a comenzar" was my favorite song and also was on my favorite level has a child. It may be my favorite childhood level and song because back then hearing Spanish music on English games was rare, not to mention my parents recognized the song because cafetacvba is an extremely well known group. I would spend so much time partying around and loving this song. Nowadays it's still my favorite lbp song and to me it's really nostalgic, the song lyrics talk about wondering how to begin again ,fix your mistakes and traumas despite that you won't have time to fix them , talking about the appreciation of memories, how scars will heal and all the overwhelming things are in the past now it's not something to worry and you'll accept the discomfort in life eventually. It's beautiful song.
I genuinely cried at the end. Remembering playing LBP1 with my stepbrother and always playing on rubber ducky bomb survival or shark survivals. I remember LBP2 being the first video game trailer i was super excited for, only to he blown out of the water at what people made and the stories told. Little Big Planet 3 was probably my favorite despite its many flaws. Some of my most memorable experiences with random online people is that game. There were so many different spreads of genres in LBP3. I remember seeing some beautiful worlds there, like things pulled from my dreams. Little Big Planet may be over, but always remember that the Imagisphere is born from the creativity in each and every one of us. We just need to share our spark.
I'll never forget goofing around online in this game, most of my PSN friends list came from playing LBP. It's been so many years now and I hope they're all well. This soundtrack introduced me to so many great artists, Cafe Tacvba became one of my fave bands because of it and I finally got to see Volver a Comenzar live last summer!!
I will never not feel the nostalgia of looking through LBP1 levels while The Pod music was in the background. I wish I could do it again even if most of the levels I found were copies.

Wake up sleepyhead, it’s 9 am! What do you mean the little big planet 3 servers shut down? Little big planet’s sequel just released! Let’s download it before mom wakes up!
4:01 In the background, you can hear a faint “3, 2, 1”. And I’m very, very sure it’s the same one used in the music for both acts of Pinball Carnival in Sonic Superstars.
hearing the wake up part at the end of the video actually made me tear up a bit, i just miss exploring the endless community levels from horror to fun adventure levels (even watch the movies people done like ninja cat)
Ah man the amount of nostalgia you just brought me at the end with all the photos 2011 - 2017 were the days for this game omg lbp1 tho always the best imo and karting
LittleBigPlanet 2 brings back so many memories from my childhood, and I'll always be thankful I got to experience that game. I have a nice story about Vision One! I remember first hearing that song while traveling through Higginbotham's body. At the time, I figured every track from the game was just LBP2's OST, and didn't also consist of a bunch of songs from other artists that were licensed for the game. Years later during the pandemic, I started a music discovery journey, and later became obsessed with Röyksopp thanks to their Profound Mysteries trilogy (Volume 3 is phenomenal btw!) After finishing the trilogy, I checked out their 2nd album Junior, and guess what was on there!? VISION ONE! Now with lyrics! It was quite a full circle moment for me, and it took me right back to those fun times playing LittleBigPlanet 2.
The Pod(lbp2),sleepyhead,desperate romantics(love this one), victoria lab, and I LOVE SLEEPYHEAD. Party Ghouls was good too. So was my patch. Get it together was a bop.
Really good video. I've only played up to 2 in my childhood so anything beyond 2 or spinoffs I dont understand. Still, good times until I switched over to my jrpg phase and I'm still in it to this day lmao. If anyone remembers Ninja Cat, you the goat.
hearing lbp2 pod theme send electricity through my veins dude. even though I started with lbp 1 and then later got lbp2 a couple weeks after it released as a gift because I was still just a little kid, I definitely put in like 5x the amount of hours into lbp2

This soundtrack introduced me to so many great artists, Cafe Tacvba became one of my fave bands because of it and I finally got to see Volver a Comenzar live last summer!!
Rip lbp and the ps3, they will forever have a special place dear in my heart. It’s sad that they went, I grew up on that stuff. 😢
Rest in peace my childhood. ❤
TY FOR INCLUDING PARTY GHOULS THAT ONE IS LITTERALLY SO GOOD AND NOSTALGIC
These aren’t cringe. These are memories. Keep those photos as long as possible.
Also my man for not giving Sackboys Adventure right of being LBP :Ꭰ
I will never not feel the nostalgia of looking through LBP1 levels while The Pod music was in the background. I wish I could do it again even if most of the levels I found were copies.
anyone else nowadays feel like.. i dont know, the older i get the more these songs make you wanna cry?? especially sleepyhead. its like the realisation i cant go back to those times hits more every single year
damn this shit hits different after the server shutdown
This video is perfect😭😭
all the videos match so well it's amazing
AND I had to stop myself from crying in the end ❤
Did you know that the creator of the spiderverse soundtrack also made music for LBP? makes sense.
@@bowreed Holy shit! I never knew that!
Daniel Pemberton is huge in the industry lol. Worked on tons of huge videogames and movies
Theese kinds of videos help me find music from a game that i love.... thank you for making this
Wake up sleepyhead, it’s 9 am!
What do you mean the little big planet 3 servers shut down? Little big planet’s sequel just released! Let’s download it before mom wakes up!
:(
Glockenpop gives me 2010 & 2013 phone vibes.
4:01 In the background, you can hear a faint “3, 2, 1”. And I’m very, very sure it’s the same one used in the music for both acts of Pinball Carnival in Sonic Superstars.
left bank two is playing at my funeral and NOBODY CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE
hearing the wake up part at the end of the video actually made me tear up a bit, i just miss exploring the endless community levels from horror to fun adventure levels (even watch the movies people done like ninja cat)
Ce mec merite mille fois son abbonement merci pour cette video incroyable ❤💫🌌
Awesome, Inmovil by Kinky is also great, and Luv Deluxe by Cinnamon Chasers is GOATed imo since it got me into Synthwave.
Ah man the amount of nostalgia you just brought me at the end with all the photos
2011 - 2017 were the days for this game omg
lbp1 tho always the best imo and karting

The Battle on Ice hit me like a truck when I first heard it while playing the game.
Planetarium = Breackcore
This video should be team picked
The Space Bass if forever my favorite interactive theme in the game, mainly for it's character
remember, keep dreaming. and eventually we'll make a world
Little big planet music just hits differently!
I remember when i was in kindergarten, the teachers let us listen to music we wanted and i always wanted to listen to lbp bangers
that montage of photos reminded me so heavily of my own experiences and memories in this amazing trilogy
hearing lbp2 pod theme send electricity through my veins dude. even though I started with lbp 1 and then later got lbp2 a couple weeks after it released as a gift because I was still just a little kid, I definitely put in like 5x the amount of hours into lbp2
watching this after LBP just died. Im grieving
