Looks amazing- the quilt & the ruffles. I love ruffles- add them to my home made pillows. However, I’m attempting my first big quilt and would like to add ruffles to it as well so thank you (if you have a suggestion on how to only do ruffles to the top and bottom but leave the sides (with binding) let me know if possible & maybe a video on how to 😅

Thanks for sharing :) do you have to round off the corners?

Thanks for watching and yes round off the corners before adding the frill. I used an 8 inch plate to draw around. 😊😊😊

I am new to sewing/quilting. My question pertains to finishing the backside. I understand the stitching is hidden under the binding on the front but what about the backside?

Thanks for your question. It is hand stitched on the reverse side. Because there is a lot of fabric between the binding due to the gathering of the ruffle it would be quite tricky to machine stitch. I hope this helps. 😊😊

Thank you for answering. I rewarched the video. I missed the end the first time, where you explained exactly what I was asking about. Your video is very clear. Thank you!
