Very pretty place...I liked the little pools stair stepped down the hill...the falls were beautiful...I could sit n listen for hours...stay safe, Jimmy
Jimmy, our Oregon when I was growing up was pristine. You can still fine it some of the time, but so much of it is now spoiled. Just to many people. I grow up in southern Oregon, it was fun to see you go to places that was in my backyard. When my husband and I retired we moved to La Grande, Or. not so many people over in northeastern Oregon, but just as much beauty.
That water fall was loud but beautiful!! All your videos are so beautiful and amazing... Stay Safe Enjoy Life and God bless you forever and always!!💙💗💙💝💙💗💙
Very pretty Jimmy. I am glad you are adventurous enough to try the hot springs. I had some very similar experiences in Iceland and love to hike to hot springs here in the states..
That was definitely a hike to the hot springs. When you said lost I got a knot in my throat. Clearlake waterfalls so pretty and the name is perfect. Good video . 👍🍀❤️
Wow! Wow! Wj, you so brrring it. Left me breathless the waterfall. The trails. The trees. Ohhh. Awww. Hot springs so cool. Sad to see graffiti and hear about loud music pumps into air from scuzzy vehicles. Hearing about poop in waterfall from doggies reminds me of a family experience. Took my adult son to Slippery Rock in Sedona. In 70's was a natural rock side setting a small amount of people slid down on their backsides or blow up mattresses. Pooped in pit toilets. When we went recently admission was being charged. Line of cars carrying people from around the world waiting to get in.State of the art toilets overflowing and stopped up. Paved sidewalks with handrails led to the natural waterfalls. Crammed with people eating shish kabobs and discarding into the water currents. Shoulder to shoulder humanity. With the watery currents rushing over the reddish colored rocks Sedona is known for.
Hello my friend !! those springs were in such a beautiful setting I would Of stayed for hours Sorry to hear about the jerks in the parking lot glad you enjoy you visit and thanks for take us with ya have a great day ( Kev )
Thanks for letting me tag along virtually, you make every adventure fun, interesting, entertaining, and educational. Your videos are a respite I can count on to hang out for a break from hectic goings on and feel renewed by the experience. Safe travels.
Thank you for sharing such beautiful places! I live 29 miles west of Portland, in Hillsboro and and have never been to alot of these places u are going. Just awesome.
After seeing the trail to the hot springs, I wonder how anyone could get through the "dread and terror" section of the trail! Thanks, Jimmy, for showing us natural beauty that I, for one, will never see in person.
Thanks for the tour of the hot springs. I have wanted to visit them but haven't gotten to it yet. But the good news is I start my journey in about a month. Want to be on the road by the middle of Nov.
I've been going to the hot springs and waterfalls since the 1970s. Untill the 90s there was no foot bridge to cross the river so you had to go east about 1/2 mile slide down the bank then walk across a large fallen wet tree then climb the cliff. It was not for the faint of heart.
What a gorgeous waterfall! Very nice video and editing job. The dread and terror section of that trail was named by 2 rangers in the early 1900’s who didn’t relish the possibility of having to fight a forest fire in the thick whitehorn brush in that area.
Jimmy love your sensitive heart❤️I've been to toketee Hotsprings twice but there wasn't the graffiti when I was there😣still breathtaking though! Thank you so much for sharing it!
Such beautiful surroundings. Its a shame that a few idiots ruin it for everyone else. Keep doing what you do. I absolutely love your videos. Take care and safe journeys.
Beautiful area, I do not understand why people feel the need to deface public things grrr. That waterfall YES please, how beautiful was that! I would love to picnic by the falls. Great video and once again thanks for taking us along. Prayers for continued safe travels and adventures. Now go south before the snow hits lol I know you're probably already heading that way or there.
Thank you, Jimmy! That Umpqua Hot Springs has been on my bucket list for THREE years now! As well as that whole area. Living vicariously! Were the hot springs crowded? I need me some HEALING hot springs!!! 😀🐶
Wandering Jimmy. You did a good job with your pronunciations, Pa lina Lake and Um kwa for Umpqua, an almost silent “p”. As for the hot springs, that’s a sad topic for us. Years ago we all used and cared for them. Oregon like other States struggles with travelers, mixed with transplants who live here working the markets, joined by local addicts and dealers. They hang out at the hot springs, vandalize and out graffiti on most every thing. Murder at Cougar Hot Springs, OD deaths not uncommon. So if you come to Oregon again check out some privately owned like Belknap Springs on the McKenzie. A resort but they allow folk to use the springs for a small fee. Very beautiful. Sorry could not capture link, but google should get you a photo, especially of the small more private pools.
Thanks, Jimmy, for doing that steep hike to the springs 👍 So beautiful ... yet I'm saddened to see much graffiti in such a place. Glad you enjoyed your hot soak☺ Stay safe and be happy 💕
Oh Pretty Boy that was so Beautiful. Thank You for taking me along. Honey I think your feet were really hurting you need a new pair of hiking boots. Love Donna 💞💕💓💖💝💞💕💓💖💝
It’s pronounced ummm-qua! I am extremely fortunate that I have enjoyed the springs long before they were well know, back when there was only one pool at the top in the 80’s. Unfortunately, from overuse and people being pigs it’s highly regulated now, you use to be able to hike in at night and enjoy a soak! People absolutely trash this place!!! My family pioneered Douglas county, 8 generations worth. As a teen I worked at Diamond lake resort, one of my best summers ever! Did you check out the pictographs by Toketee?
Thank you for a beautiful morning. Your camera must get awfully heavy, carrying all of us to wonderful places we can no longer reach on our own. I think I could manage the level hike to the Falls. Travel Safe
Your videos are always so peaceful. While still peaceful, this one had some added dimensions of challenging paths and hazard avoidance, i.e., the "really bad" parking lot and pit toilet, the trail of "Dread and Terror," Graffitied Outhouses, Contaminated Hot Springs ... lol, plus the Mount Bailey blooper. I'm still smiling. Thanks for that.
My husband is going to have carpal surgery on both his arm's so what better time for a road trip. I'll be in charge of driving. Going to drag him along.☺️🤣
Clear Water Falls was beautiful. Now for that hike to the hot springs, well that’s for the youngins😂 I sure hate to see spray paint and that type of graffiti in the great outdoors! Those types need to be prosecuted. Some of the young folks these days are questionable, tribal anger and brainwashed. I’ve seen other tubers film graffiti in the most pristine natural settings and it’s heartbreaking. Thanks for sharing some of the views and especially the sounds of the life flowing waters! Safe travels😉👍
Defacing the park with Grafitti should be against the law! Stay safe! You are braver than me. I would be afraid to leave my vehicle in that parking lot.
JIMMMMMMMMMMY...THE SPRINGS ??????? FUGGEDABOUTIT! Fkn FUGGEDABOUTIT! Uk yuk muk? All else is fine! ITS JUST SAD THAT SOME PEOPLE DONT APPRECIATE NATURES GIFTS...AND SPOIL IT FOR OTHERS! 😝😝😝! KEEP ON KEEPIN ON MY FRIEND! 👍😎
Mt. Thielsen rhymes with my name. Beautiful video. My favorite ice cream, Umpqua Vanilla Bean.
It's the best ☺️

I thought the same!! Steep mountains around there. Thanks Lisa!
I thru hiked it in 2013 but went downhill from Maidu Lake. The hotsprings were a nice reward aftwer the dread and terror.
Magical!!!
very nice images!
Great hike & video Jimmy!
"Dread and terror" musty be swinging on vines over crevasses....quite a climb, thanks for taking us with you Jimmy. :)
Thanks for the tour of the hot springs. I have wanted to visit them but haven't gotten to it yet.
But the good news is I start my journey in about a month. Want to be on the road by the middle of Nov.

Shucks I wanted to see some of the “Dread and Terror” section. I am happy to see that you made it out safe though. 😜
wow the clouds on the top of the mountain at the end of the vlog looked like smoke. Great vlog
Beautiful!!!
I was in that area four decades ago and it appears nothing has changed. I was glad I went yet have never gone back.

Jimmy as always, you find the most beautiful places. Continues to sadden me to see how people are so disrespectful to nature
Hi Barb! Thanks!! Yes, me too.
Umpqua is a forest and river :) I use to live on the North Umpqua, thus the name. Beautiful drive along the river all the way to the coast.
The hike up to the hot springs and the hot springs themselves was spectacular. The waterfall was also amazing.A great video again Jimmy 👍😃
Thanks Kat!

That sure is a steep path down so will be a chore to get back up, but you can do it.

Um, like you are saying "Um, Um". :) Um(light p)kwa :) Good try! Spent early childhood near the Umpqua rivers! Thank you for your video!
What time did you go?
Thank you for a beautiful morning. Your camera must get awfully heavy, carrying all of us to wonderful places we can no longer reach on our own. I think I could manage the level hike to the Falls. Travel Safe
Thanks for the tour, but I don't think I'll go to that hot spring anytime soon. It's not PEOPLE that spoil things; it's A-HOLES.
I hear ya!
Wonderful excursion. If you come to Phoenix area this winter you should check out the hot springs in tonapah. Be safe friend. 🦇🕸💀👻🎃🍁🍂🚐🌝
Oh yes! Thanks...I will!
I’m going there one day
So beautiful 😍
Hot spring then a waterfall? That's a "soak and shower". It's extra for the mud bath and Facial scrub.
That'll be $274.95 please. :)
The correct name of the pointed mountain is Mount Thielsen.
The falls!!
OOMPkwa?
Hi Jimmy. Beautiful scenery, especially of the hot springs. What camera were you using? ... Future "erections?" Did you mean "eruptions?"
Thanks! I replaced my camera with the same. Canon G7x. I hope i didn't say erections!!!

he said eruptions.
Beautiful waterfall. Such a shame about all the graffiti. Thanks for the video!
Are those the same Springs the other you tubers died at? I'm not trying to be rude or mean. I read about them in a newspaper, just a very sad story.
oh yikes, I didn't hear about that.
All I found on Google was a TH-camr died diving off a waterfall in Canada and one that died getting into a hot spring at Yellowstone.
My husband is going to have carpal surgery on both his arm's so what better time for a road trip. I'll be in charge of driving. Going to drag him along.☺️🤣
i wanted to go here last summer and after walking a couple hundred yards we got too freaked out and turned around...way too sketch for me
Umpqua is pronounced Ump (like the referee) then qua. This is my neck of the woods.
Good morning Jimmy
Good morning!

Beautiful, but batheing in someone else's filth and bodily fluids isn't my bag. LOL 👍
Take it down. It’s not yours to share, She obviously didn’t want you inside of her if you can’t say her name
Take it down white man. UMPQUA AHO!!!!!!’ One of the oldest tribes on Earth we are. Don’t share what is not yours.
Beautiful💦💦💦🌊🌊🌊🌲🌲🔥🔥🔥
U really shouldn't hike alone.. People disappear.. You know.. Be careful..
For the solo traveler it's a choice between hiking alone or not hiking at all...I'll choose hiking alone every time.

Mornin Kat 💕. Someone asked if there was a reward for being 1st. I replied it's a new international game, to beat Kat 🤣😂
