Here's how to play 'All Right Now' by the band Free.
I show two ways to play this classic riff, firstly a very easy way (and the way that most guitarists play this riff, without using the little finger) and how to play this riff with the little finger that is generally considered to be how it was played on the recording.

Hey Andy, the third chord in the main riff does not have that D note in it (Which is on the A string 5th fret). The A string is open. D string 4th fret, g string open, b string 3rd fret and open e
Most people agree that it does on the original recording. But live, everybody plays it without the little finger for sure- much easier 🎸
You're right willo, but the pinky also plays the fifth fret on the d string (not the a string) pulled off to the fourth. And another way to play the first 'A' chord is pinky on fifth fret bottom e string. I think that Koss played both types of A chords on the single/ studio version of this track, but live it was the double a in the bass version. Ian
Yes on the recording it's double tracked how this is played in vid .Paul uses the low E on 5th fret and next chord uses A 5th fret etc .

Yeah another youtuber figured the two separate parts that were mixed together on the record. Think it was slightly different than shown here.

I hate playing this with the high a string (top e 5th fret), it never sounds nice. Apart from that I play it pretty much the same way.
