best way to make goat is wrapping with heavy duty foil for about 1.5 hours, get it out when tender and finish it off good. juicy and tender. goat doesn't go good with bbq sauce either. looks yummy!

So far I haven't had the opportunity to eat any goat meat. It seems the food in Thailand is a little to spicy for me. Dang it looks good and I'm hungry. To spicy I'm thinking it's the cooks fault. 😁 Best wishes Bob. 🌴

The cook might have had something to do with the spice level...lol
Goat would be impossible to get here where I live, easier to buy a live goat that goat meat, but some areas where there are a lot of Muslims you can get it.

Goat is good if cooked right, it's probably not easy to get where you live, sheep or lamb would be easier.

@@catfishkitchen4203 You know Paul, this Rack of Goat Ribs must taste as good as the Cabrito Norteños that Monterrey is famous for, and just as spicy your ribs as the cabritos(still on milk)are.

I make curry goat for special occasions. But they always run out at the Halal market. But they always have ribs at half the price. I may have to try some of these now! Thanks!! :)

Low and slow... fantastic. I love goat as well. We don't get a lot of it over here. Wonderful looking crust on it. Nice work mate.

This turned out good, I should have cut the heavy fat off before cooking but overall this was a success.

messed it up when you put bbq sauce and the rest of the spices. Goat meat does not require any of these just salt and pepper will suffice. Reason being goat has a distinct taste and adding anyhing other than salt (pepper is optional) you defeat the purpose of the taste of goat meat. To drizzle it all you need is some water mixed with salt and rub it when needed

That looks Yummy. No kidding about goat fat. It is definitely not pleasant...lol Thanks for sharing.

Goat fat does not add flavor, I should have cut most of the fat off, did not realize it was so thick.

Thanks for sharing! It looks just delicious! But I would never go with too hot spices with goat meat, since it in my opinion take away the special Goat taste. Same with Sheep, Deer and Moose/Elk.
Sheep and Goat have normally a stronger taste than Cow or Pork, even if they only eat grass and grain. More strong if you let them roam free in the hills and mountains eating wild flowers and bushes, which is the ones I like. But never butcher the Goat in the mating season, since they get an even stronger taste. That can taste on the Cheese also.

Yeaaa, finally Catfish Kitchen vid!!! My husband harvests those Sika elk (they call em deer, but their really elk) they are relatively small and remind me of goat, lol. But they are extremely tender and delicious, by far my favorite!!! It’s that season again here in the states so can’t wait. I may talk my husband into Sika ribs on the grill!! Thanks Paul!!
