You can get goat ribs (and other cuts) from many butchers. I got these from Heritage Foods bitly.4emv.com/HF_Goat). They are often sold out (except during their big Goatober promotion), but it's worth a try because this stuff is amazing.

Goat meat is most preferred for grilling(nyama choma) over any other meat in Africa, and Middle East. Beef is popular with stews and a whole lot of mixed dishes.

    • @BehindTheFoodTV

Yes sir! I can’t for the life of me figure out why it’s not more popular here in the US. Thanks for watching, Cyrus!

@@BehindTheFoodTV Maybe it's because livestock rearing is largely commercial in US, while where goat is more popular, they rear them for subsistence. A goat produces less than 20kg of meat, while cattle gives way much more. This makes goat seem not to be commercially viable as beef.

Just wrapped my chunks in foil with apple juice after searing the outside. Will be trying their recipe for sure. Oh instead of soy sauce I used fish sauce (chef’s kiss) it took the goat to a new level.

This is one of those times I really really wish we could post memes in comments! Go to your favorite GIF system and search for "In My Belly" :-). Thanks for watching, Jay! I have 3 other goat videos on the channel if you want to see what I did with the rest of him! Here's the playlist: th-cam.com/video/9skjkFz6-1Q/w-d-xo.html

Hey I'm glad you tried and enjoyed it. If you didn't like the odor, it was probably just oxidized fat. You can tame that by adding mustard powder to your rub, or using plain yellow mustard as a binder for your rub. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching, for trying my recipes, and for taking the time to comment! -Al

If you’re a Vegan why would you search fir and watch a video about how to smoke goat ribs? That’s kind of silly done you think? Unless you’re really a second hand vegan like me - and you eat vegan goats, lambs, cows and pigs and you’re just trying to be funny? Either way, sending all of the love and hugs your way so you feel better! -Al
