Nice video. I live outside of Chicago Il and have cool season grass. Can you advise on a spring lawn plan. The weather is getting warmer and the soil temp today is 50F and staying +/-5 in the next five days. What should I do this week and the next couple months for weed control and fertilizing my lawn. I have perdiamine powder, Scotts weed and feed (yellow bag), speed zone, regular 30 0 4 Fert, and Sunday liquid 22-0-3 Fert. Let me know how you would use what i have in stock. If needed i can purchase something if you think its needed.

Thanks for watching. Temperatures should be on the rise from here on out. If you don't plan on putting seed done I would be planning to use your Prodiamine within the next few days/week depending on your weather. You could also do the Scott's weed and feed close to or a little after the Prodiamine application. I wouldn't fertilizer to heavy in the spring as it is already a time of heavy growth. Its not going to hurt anything, you will just have to mow more often. The liquid fertilizer would be a good option around June when it's starting to get hotter but not to hot already. All needs watered in. For the other weeds that come up you could either spot spray or do a blanket spray. Depending on your weather you could spray possibly by the middle to end of April. Just read the label on tempature restrictions.
