Listen…I can rip on a guys technique all day but each person has his own style., at the end of the project is when it’s gonna show and from what I see it is a good job… You got the coverage, you got the tone, tint and effect…that’s what you’re going for… What I would do to make it pop would add 8-1 silver base and house of color pearl to the second coat to give it that deep resonate look…you can go candy with almost any paint and it’s only one step…I would also use a 75% cover instead of 80% and set my pressure for 22 psi on the first 2 coats and 16-17 on the third to blend in any overspray.

How can you tell?? I see plenty of dry spots...a good wet sand and buff will show the body work needed. Photos/internet videos can make a average paint job look good. He's a good painter but........

I've had my 2000 Honda Accord in the works since last year. I been doing cars for over 30 years but been "down on my luck" for quite some time now. Anyway, if nothing happens I'll be laying some color next month. I'm down here on the coast of SC and it's starting to get hot and humid. I'm in the process of putting the fenders and front clip back on. I have a hood coming in next week too (I replaced the radiator support). Since I got my "shit back together" I bought a new gravity gun (LVLP by, Spray It). I bought a new Iwata Eclipse airbrush and a 36 colors by Createx. Not sure what paint scheme I'ma go with but it'll be slamming. Well, I'll stop here; if you don't mind is there anyway you can hook me up with a website or something for custom paint, etc?
