I got my self a gen 2 rx7 That mazda car was my favorite... I pimp that thing out ,gorgeous black,blacked out tint , Kickin stereo chrome wheels Cruisin the streets in the mid 90s
I had a rumble bee resto mod , took two years to build I had it a month and a nodding heroine addict destroyed it, my point is if you love a special auto it’s scary to drive it because people don’t give a s-t about anything anymore sorry I’m still pissed.
I had an 87 and 89 cutty. Super secksy body style. 89 was the first year for the single unit headlights although the previous models with 4 separate lights looked better IMO. Great job bro.
@@davelowets 87 and 88 had 2 headlights...84 had 4 single headlights...89 isnt the same. Im not sure what youre getting at....youre saying what I said just differently lol.
@@aperez613 thanks sometimes I have been asked to go cover at a shop as a painter for a couple days. We are in Ventura county California. And for a job this style with minimum body work light removal of trim. Around 6500 about 2000 goes back into liquid material
BRO if you want to enjoy your senior years you need to wear a PROPER MASK WHEN PAINTING !!! Also seal up the area to prevent dust from coming iN, OTHERWISE A GREAT JOB YOU DID !!!
Thankyou for the advise..you are absolutely correct,,I only sprayed that side of the hood and I didn't have my respirator. I do however wear my fresh air system at work.. my son did all the painting..

Thank you bro I actually did it myself (ima painter by trade ) with help from my pops and buddies. We rented the booth for paint and assembled it at my house.
A few months ago I bought a 1977 Ford LTD Base Model with just under 30,000 miles that looked good on the internet with slightly fuzzy video. It sat in the sun for a few years, and as such after a few rain storms the WD-40 shine got washed away. My main issue is the door and window seals are dry rotted and need to be replaced. It needs a few other things like the chrome trim that wraps around the fenders for example. I cannot find parts for my car anywhere on the internet including those websites that sell parts for classic Fords. Am I screwed, or is there a website that I can go to where I can actually get the parts that I need?
Thanks for watching. All the trim was original I just cleaned them up. No polishing. I did it my self I probably spent about 1200 in material(sand,paper ,tape paper,Primer sealer,base and clear But around here this is probably a 5k-6k paint job if not more
That's great just play some Prince, Morris Day and the time and Sheila E, and go crusing on Albuquerque's RT 66 Cenral Ave to the club. Coming from a White dude, this brings back some great 80s memories. I wish I could go back, times were great people got along.

Paint code 72 from GM mid 80's...as far as the name ,different paint manufactures used different names for it for marketing purposes..rosewood.rosegold,light redwood.rosepink.etc. hope this helps..

The annoying thing on these cars are the carb problem and vacuum lines. Man those days must of been golden enjoying them like that

A 1989 Olds Cutlass would have been a completely different body style, and would be a front wheel drive car.
The G-Bodys only went to 1988..
