You mentioned ghost grinding issue, that is exactly what we are experiencing with our e80. It grinds along fine and then out of nowhere it still sounds like it's grinding but it sputters to a point where no grounds come out even though it sounds like everything is still spinning and operating. Do you have any insight on how to resolve this we have tried almost everything. Thank you

Thank you, this worked perfectly! I do have a different topic question on the e80 though. What should a consistent temperature be when the grinder is working through a busy order rush? Also when I do a fan test on the e80 when Im doing service cleaning, it says it's running at around 50%, is this normal? Thanks

I'm not sure about a consistent temperature number, but the the passive fan that runs when the motor does and the two active fans that come on occasionally during higher volume use work to keep the grind chamber temperature below 37 degrees Celsius. HEMRO claims that they have never been able to exceed 36 degrees Celsius on the E80. I think it was determined that you start to run into issues when a grinder chamber exceeds 38 degrees Celsius. The fan run percentage and any sort of fan underrun notification is just a software bug and should be ignored. The original intention was to create a diagnostic tool that could measure the electrical impedance of the fans and report back, but it doesn't work as intended. The fan test is just an on/off test as far as the current firmware stands.

Hello! Thanks for the video. Could you tell me whether this is suitable for a pop-up espresso bar? From a supplier I heard that movement/vibration might trigger an error mode and I'm unsure whether this is the right choice now... Thank you!

Grind By Weight is possible for a mobile cart, but the cart would need to be very firm and stable, and we'd rcommend putting a rubber mat under the grinder to help speed up taring/dosing. The timed grinding version (E65S) is not susceptible to these issues and would be a great choice.
