The most difficult part of replacing the spark plugs is the 3 spark plugs in the back that I don't see it in this video 😕

I'm guessing he didn't show the back plugs because youtubes swearing policy in videos.....

      He didn't actually do those

He knows damn well its hard to do the back side, so he skipped it. That makes the video null and void.

Never leave the oil cap off while working on an engine, you never know what may fall down that open hole

You have to lay on the engine to get the back ones. Cover the engine with a couple layers of cardboard for comfort and engine protection. It worked for me.

Why didn’t you transfer the heat shield over to the new wires?

You made a 1-hour video showing how to replace the LIM gasket, yet you intentionally avoided showing what it takes to change the rear plugs on this engine. A ten-year-old can do the front. Everyone knows it can be quite challenging to do the plugs at the firewall and requires removing some components. Man-up and show us what you got.

Everybody is saying the exact same thing in the comments. This video is very weak because he intentionally skipped the back side. He knows damn well it's difficult. Like you said, a 10 year old can change the front wires. Heck, the only reason I'm even watching this video, is because I just came from outside changing the spark plugs on the (front) side in about 15 minutes, so I came to see how he did the back side.

Understand one of those cars today and he already had made a mistake when I started watching him put wires on the metal end that were only old wires them are heat shield covers they're supposed to be pulled off the wires and put on the new wires changing the spark plugs on the back of that engine is not that bad it's pretty straightforward it's tight though and a one inch extension and a 5/8 spark plug socket and Ratchet is what it takes to change them it's about an hour job as long as you got some patience the front ones are easy the back ones it's a little tight back there but it ain't too bad the hardest part is getting the wires free

  • @bluekarnage1985

Is there a reason you left the heat shield off the new wires?

Your video's usually are a great help but I'm very disappointed in this video because I've been struggling to replacing #2 & #4 plug (old man w/big hands) and evidently others are also ...
Obvious I'm going to have to keep searching for a complete wire & plug changing video .

Thanks for sharing this, I've never done it, on a Buick. All I really needed was how to get the top cover off. But you made my day.

Them wires are just generally a little stiff after they've been on a while they take a little bit of force but they will come loose now number two IDs a pair of pliers to pull it off I just use a big pair of channel locks and stuck it back there and grab the wire and Pull and it pop loose but it's not fun but it will come off

I call bullshit. You only showed how to change the front spark plug wires, 1,3, and 5. Those were the easiest. The back ones, 2, 4, and 6, are really hard to get to. You can't even see them when you put your arm in the narrow space in the back of the engine to change them. Nowhere in this video was it shown or mentioned how hard it is to change the back spark plug wires.
