  • A review of the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 3 (AMD) business laptop. (AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U, 16GB DDR5 6400MHz, 512GB PCIe Gen4 NMVe M.2 2280 SSD, AMD Radeon 680M GPU)
Lenovo’s ThinkPad T14 range has always been a popular business laptop. The T14s Gen 3 is the slightly slimmer sibling of the T14. New for this year is the new AMD Ryzen 6000U and Intel 12th Gen CPUs, USB4.0, 16:10 displays options including a 2.8K OLED 90 Hz panel and a redesigned case. Does it hold onto its crown as the best 14 inch business laptop?

thank you for the review and suggestions regarding the Lenovo Thinkpad T14s Gen3. as well as giving its competitors from other trademarks that made me glance at the Dell Latitude 7420 before, but the current generation of Lenovo uses embedded / soldered RAM more often, this makes us hold back on saving until we can meet higher RAM because it's only done once before purchase.
However the USB gen 4 port is very tempting.
    Thank You For your information

I've found the keyboard on my T14s Gen 3 to have a very unforgiving, loud and harsh keyboard, have you found your laptop to have these problems with the keyboard?
I've sent it back to get it replaced under warranty, hopefully its just a problem with mine.

Yes it does have an OLED option but it forces a 300 euro upgrade with the fibocom modem. Also it has an option for a 1920x1200 400 nits 72% NTSC. Mine arrived today with the 72% NTSC.
But I just checked and at the moment there is no option to select those on the order page. I assume they are currently out of stock. I ordered mine with black friday.

there have been mulitple users (including me) having rattling trackpad on T14 and T14s gen 3. Basically what happens is there is large gap between the trackpad and the laptop frame, so the trackpad makes noises when your fingers just touch on it, not even click down. Very annoying!
