- Here is a Classic 1984 Episode of The $100,000 Name That Tune Enjoy!
In honor of the Return of Name That Tune Coming This Wednesday Here is the Finals of The $100,000 Tournament of Champions on Name That Tune Enjoy!
He was my favorite! I am thrilled he won!
I always loved the set for this show.
Coliseo font in the logo and Tune Topics - I always keep a copy on my computer to this day!
Taped at the same studios "Face the Music" was.
That was the most dominating golden medley I've ever seen.
I have always loved this version of "Name That Tune". The set, Jim Lange and the band...classic!!!
Thank you so much for sharing these rarities! This one is so nice and clear! :)
This game show probably had the most noise for a championship victory.
LOVE the big balloon/confetti/streamer drop at 18:52.
But listen to what he said to him at 10:24
18:52, Michael Lagmay Wins $100,000!
Possibly the most one-sided Golden Medley I ever seen.
18:52, I Love those Beautiful Balloons! ❤
I'm so happy that Name That Tune is coming back!
Me Too I am DVR it.
I like all previous versions of Name That Tune much better than this new one.
@@JIMOTOOLE1949 Be respectful to Name That Tune (2021-present)!
@Marsden All previous versions, yes, but not this one.
@@JIMOTOOLE1949 You still have to honor everyone!!!!!!
This episode is going to stream on Tubi soon.
R.I.P. Jim Lange, Tommy Oliver, & John Harlan!!!?
So fun to watch him Win with his lovely family there. I wonder if he still has the timeshare !
Yeah, that "Pass Trick" ain't gonna help you out here now!!
Before the Balloons, Streamers, & Confetti was dropped after $100,000 Jackpot Winner on Name That Tune!!!?
16:01 to 16:12 plays a nice song!!!!!!
This is an R.I.P. song @ 3:21!
Would have aired on USA between Fall 1990-Sep 13, 1991, as USA didn't have the network bug until at least Fall 1990(the 9/10/1990 airing of Chain Reaction recently posted by Memory Lane doesn't have the bug, and Sep 13, 1991, the last day Lange NTT aired on USA)
On Family Channel airings, they eliminated the prize package plugs completely due to the “Play Break” segments with Wink Martindale.
@@Musicradio77Network They also edited them out in 1995-96 airings after the "interactive" game shows ended on 12/31/1994.
This is Starbucks' favorite song @ 7:42!!!!!!!
Runaway winner.
Adam Curry can you upload more episodes of the 100,000 name that tune because they are awesome.
hap trout tries to press the buzzer in the last second but he knows by that stage it's already graffiti time
Have seen Hap on an earlier show, and he is BEYOND intense!
Plus, he cheats, not putting his hands at his side a lot of the time.
Well Michael taught this cheater a lesson. Lol.
18:09 dixie
lol
Those Roulette spins were definitely edited.
the bid a note round was highly edited too, got to fit in the dominant performace in the golden medley.
Was this done by the Family Channel? I seem to recall this show airing in reruns as well as on USA.
@@blindsportslover Wouldn't surprise me. All those Trivial Pursuit Playbreaks
Adam I can see the picture a lot better
18:51 The balloons were beautiful, but were the streamers supposed to fall in one big, ugly, gross-looking heap like that?? 😖
good evening Adam
Hello there!
I wonder if in the new show they’ll bring in one of these guys for an old school vs. new school battle.. as someone who might survive an incarnation of the new version, my curiosity is piqued.
I don't think they will. The first season of this new version will be taped in Australia. If they do another season and it tapes in the US, maybe they could locate MIchael Lagmay as he's only about 60 and may still well be alive, ditto Les Gould who would be about 70. Eric Kaplan who would also be about 70, won on the Kennedy version and lost to Elena Cervantes on the tourney of Super Champs on the Lange version , and was on Jeopardy in the last couple of years.
@@zachhoran The other $100,000 winners of the Jim Lange version were Pat Chialtas, Kirk Moore, Carol Klein, and Tommy Simmons.
@@zachhoran Second season is supposed to be taped in Ireland. COVID
@@LogoMan7777 It was taped and will debut
on March 29th
big white guy was a bully
What is with these weird banging sounds on this show?
