16:01-16:03 they just skipped the prize plugs there which came from the Family Channel. Thank goodness! This episode is now on Tubi and the prize plugs are completely restored and the quality is way better compared to potato quality. If you want to see this episode uncut, go check it out. It’s on Tubi.
Virgínia, Fernanda, Ellen e Patrícia dublando as mulheres. Mas,as vezes era o contrário. Na ausência de um,o outro tinha que se virar pra dar conta do recado.
I used to not watch the $100,000 tournament of champions final on this version of NTT because the ballon drops scared the living daylights out of me when I was kid. The ballon drops on Sale of the Century was never this frightening or scary like the ones on this version of NTT.
+Sultz Z. Wolf I felt the same way. I had to plug my ears when I was little due to the noise. I agree with you about $ale of the Century--they treated the balloons properly without popping.
There were a few times when the confetti kept shooting out even during the necklace cash and car presentation and the 2nd balloon drop happened as the car rolled in
The way the balloons and confetti go flying everyone, it makes me think of Regis shouting " *HE'S WON A MILLION DOLLARS!!!* " on Millionaire. Which around this time, $100,000 was kind of a BIG prize to win!
Best, i agreed. It's my best "My GROW Notebook Diaries" Year 2017 celebration ever. A huge celebration. From the end of 2017, like Christmas. It's aired on December 22, 2017. Prizes: Tesla, Lexus SUV, Caribbean cruise, $100,000 cash, Best Buy gift card & Apple gift card Drop: confetti/streamers/balloons
After Kirk won the $100,000, they set off the fireworks sounds, but were a bit delayed by about 25 seconds in playing the PRE-RECORDED Name That Tune Winner's Theme. Usually as the blizzard of confetti and balloons fall, the music and fireworks go off at about the same time.
The flaw in this game is that you're not penalized if you buzz in early and miss -- even though the other contestant gets a chance to guess, they don't get to hear any more of the song. That allows someone in the lead (even a small lead) to be an ass and just buzz in the moment a song starts just to make it difficult for them to have a chance to catch up... ;)
Good episode, but sadly, the prize plug was cut out, WTF???? I remember when the Family Channel (now ABC Family) cuts out the prize plugs during the $100,000 win. I also prefer the USA and CBN versions a lot better than this one, but it had the prize plug intact during the $100,000 winner. And BTW, sad to say, Jim Lange has passed away today. RIP :(
The problem with this episode, is because of “Interactive Playbreak” segments where Wink Martindale was hosted at the time during the commercial. Whether it was “Trivial Pursuit”, “Boggle”, and “Jumble” which were all “Interactive Playbreaks”. The same episode that has all the prizes that one of the same contestants have won is included here. The only thing missing is the first 2-3 minutes of the intro. th-cam.com/video/GJKHNf7cj-8/w-d-xo.html

THey had to get the Trivial Pursuit playbreaks in. Even in 1995 and early 1996 when FAM cancelled the interactive shows, they still edited stuff out of NTT, Face the Music, and LMAD.
This was due to wiping animation at 16:02 which cause the prize plugs being edited out from this episode. Here are the prizes that were removed from this episode: 1. Schafer & Sons grand piano 2. Hitachi home entertainment center 3. A Caribbean Holiday from Costa Cruises 4. A week’s vacation at the Desert Breezes Resort 5. A watch from Jules Jurgenson 6. Polynesian Spas

Probably due to copyright issues (I think that's why TPIR doesn't do plugs for all the things that contestants price).

Thankfully, the CBN Cable Network and USA Network repeats from the mid 1980s to early 1990s didn’t edit out the fee plugs and the prize plugs!
The part with the late John Harlan announcing all the prizes for 2 or 3 minutes wasnt any less important. Bad cutoff.
good show
Sadly, this is from a Family Channel airing. I can tell, by the wipe animation effect at 16:02.
