    So cool to see your printer as a kit. Super excited for you! Congrats!

    Mirror tiles are a great alternative build surface, although you will have to cut and polish them, and if you dont want to buy a whole pack ask at the store if they have an opened or damaged pack that you can purchase just one or two tiles from, I managed to do this for mirror tiles for my Ender 3 printers.

    I've made my voron 0.1 mini after LGX lite work with a trianglelab hotend with one of those round heat blocks, they're awesome. Just had to slightly mod the mount part so the nozzle would be at the same height as a dragon or anything else would have been.

    I’m so glad I ordered this right when it went up. I didn’t even know what a rook was or anything about your other printers or discord community, it just looked cool.
    Now the kit will be my second rook. It is incredible how much value they stuffed in this box for the price.
    It’s offerings like this that show you Hector and the folks at fabreeko are enthusiasts first, the profit has to be RAZOR thin on this and they did it anyway because it was COOL.
    Congrats man, looking forward to the assembly videos so I can see how badly I messed up assembling my rook 😂😂😂

    Do you allow remixing of parts from your printers? Like the Rook for example, would you allow someone to credit you if they remix a part on printables?

    Have one more tweak to double check on model and speedy and I should post a set of files.

      @Rolohaun  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, it depends on what your looking for, this is more of a premium kit it can for sure be built cheaper but it is only for PLA

  • @hunt0583
    @hunt0583 ปีที่แล้ว

    is the printer big enough to be justifiable to build?

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think so but only you can decide that. This is a great sizer for printing stuff for kids or learning Klipper / building. There are lots of uses for a 120x120mm printer

    This is a very affordable Core XY Kit that may be pretty popular but it you want to make a great build video DO NOT Make it a LIVE stream. Way too many distractions during the build and takes much longer overall. Make a video from a live stream if you like but cut (edit) out all the bull shit so someone without a lot of kit experiance to follow and run the video along with thier build.

    • @Rolohaun
      @Rolohaun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes I agree I will make a real build series then a live stream at the end
