@@giridhars339 i can promise you that your kia has had from factory full synthetic oil. i would 100% recommend 5w-30 full synthetic oil if your temperature is average 38c (100 f). 0w-20 is more for cold environments and to answer your question or to confirm about your car does not say anything about synthetic oil recommended, any 20 weight oil will be synthetic or synthetic blend. never will be a regular conventional oil. hope that helps

@@Haituk1 im saying YOU DO NOT have to use the oil the car manufacturers say. take for instance on 0w-20. most recommend that weight so they can get the EPA rating and also the government pretty much enforces this so the vehicle gets the government MPG standard. if you live in a very hot climate such as phoenix az then i would never ever run 0-20 in the summer. don’t believe everything car manufacturers say. they only say that because they are strong armed by the government

Not a hundred percent true, 0 -20 5-20 (also Toyota 0-8 and 0-16 oils) aren't for cold climates, they are being used for hot climates more in modern cars, so I will use my 5-30, 10-30 for cars and 15-40 for my diesel. The engines are quieter and cooler running, with only a 1-1.5 mile drop in economy.

If i get 15 years out of my current vehicle like i did with my last one, all the better.
The Pennzoil Platinum series oils due to being made from natural gas, (Gas To Liquid Technology) flow at -48 % F. I use 5w30 and would highly recommend using it year round. I personally like the Ultra Platinum, it has a more robust add pack and rated for extreme use. No need to mix for a personal blend.
All great, but 95+% of cars on the road today cannot take these new oils, as they're not made for them. Don't pretend it's 'the best' as often it is not, putting wrong info in many people's heads. Everything depends on the make, the engine, year built, the climate and way the vehicle is operated, it is definitely not a 'one fits all'.

I would run 0w-20, the oil will flow faster and if you have a cold winter it can be beneficial and it will cause less wear on start up
