Merci. That’s a great looking setup you have. I like the simple highway peg setup. That’s given me motivation to do something similar for my 2013. Cheers!
Bonjour! Nice job, love your innovation and making those Dewalt boxes work as luggage. Need a video on how you made those boxes fit on your luggage rack.
Hi, glad you like that setup, it was cheap and effective ! Take a look of my French video version here: th-cam.com/video/wjLooFTHRY0/w-d-xo.html The info you are looking for starts at 7:00 Have a great day :)
Glad you enjoyed, i removed the abs because i like to have full control of my motorcycle, also because front brake lever was very spongy and soft, i would have like to keep ABS but you can't upgrade brake lines with abs ( in my knowledge ) because there is no place to screw the new lines, i kept the parts in case i decide to sell the bike
Love your mods! Can you tell me which MR16 bulbs you used in the turn signals? (mr16 or mr11?) Also, what are the amber bulbs you are using for the parking lights (near headlights)?
Thank you These are T10 led bulbs for the parking lights amzn.to/3Y90c2a And MR16 Bulbs but you will need to do soldering and modification to the end of the wiring in case you still want to do the mod They also fit very tight in the turn signal housings amzn.to/3hgTG8Y
@@MathieuTechMoto Thank you for the quick reply. I will try the MR16 mod this winter. I have a 2014 and the turn signals are so dim! (no reflector and black plastic housing doesn't help)
@@MathieuTechMoto Hello again - When fitting the MR16 bulbs, did you cut the pins off the bulb and solder directly to the circuit board? The bulbs are about 2" deep but the vstrom has about 1.5" of space. Also, do you think dimmable bulbs are necessary because of the voltage fluctuations on the bike? Thank you.
@@c.meyers2882 I had very slim profile 6w mr16 and had to shorten the electric pins flush to body to fit, they should have internal drivers to keep the voltage constant, i had non-dimmable LEDs
@@MathieuTechMoto Unfortunately the Handguards are very expensive from Suzuki and and like a lot of Suzuki accessories over priced! They are just light plastic and not Robust. I will replace mine eventually with better and less expensive ones! I like what you have done with the Vstrom. I like the side pannier boxes and the top box. You have improved the bike considerably! You have done an excellent job, I like it!
My 2012 Vstrom came with panniers, but it didn’t I would definitely make them like you did. Very ingenious. I just subscribed. Thanks
Thank you :)
Great that you made two versions of the video my friend, nice job! 👍
Thank you !
Any suggestion to improve my next video ?
Stay tuned !
Awsome idea with the toolboxes! GIvi and other top/side boxes are way too expensive - adn there is very little alternative.
Yes they should make plastic square cases copying the aluminum design

Glad you enjoyed , have a great day !

Glad it helped !
You remind me of BEAN…a talking version! 😂very, very ingenious, succinct, and practical….good video!
Glad you enjoyed :D

Love the boxes you have set up. Can you tell me what racks you are using? I'd like to build a similar set up.
I dont know the brand of the rack as it came with my Vstrom when i bought it, you can probably do this on any rack
Excellent video my friend, very informative and innovated ideas. well done. Ride safe 👍😊🏍
Thank you :)
Also what are the brand of fog lights?
Good morning Lee , this is the fog light used

Awesome vidéo men!
Yeah marci
Did you drill and raise your front finder
Nope, didn't do that !
Thanks for the english version. One question. Why did you have to eliminate the ABS when adding the Stainless Steel lines?

Did the hand guards come standard?
I bought it used and it was already installed, however, if you buy new , i think they are sold separately
