I replaced the slipping clutch several months ago & it just never seemed to engage properly .. well i figured out my mistake ..cant wait to try it out after im finished
I have the same problem on an 84' 200es where it slips from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th pretty bad 5th is fine until it gets into power, also it takes about 2 seconds for the rpms to drop and the clutches to engage when i shift. I had just assumed it was slipping bad because the clutch was bad but now this is making me wonder, I'm just going to take it apart and see what happened myself because the adjuster does nothing to help. thanks for the insight on what it might be 👍

I currently have ot hooked up to a huge trailer pulling it outta its resting spot ... Its working great now to tackle brakes then its perfect

My 200s is doing the same thing feels like it’s almost slipping when low in the gear mainly 1st and second
Well all them parts are very reasonable replace both clutches and enjoy it
