I wish I had seen this before attempting my first print. I had tried the geodesic, and didn't know it was a horribad choice for them to include. Test prints should Just Work. Instead, I tried two times and had failed prints. And the paper leveling method is too inexact, so I had resin buildup on the ACF film. I removed that, but didn't realize there were still long, thin cured resin filaments in the vat. So, I attempted the rook, and somehow those filaments got adhered to the upper plate and were pointing down. The printer started making knocking noises and I honestly thought someone was hammering on the wall from outside. I stopped the printer in a panic. Drained the resin, and found the bits, but they had done their damage and poked holes in the ACF film. Fortunately, the protective layer covering the screen wasn't scratched. At least, I can't see any damage. Not happy with this. I've ordered a replacement film at $50 a pop, and looking forward to making my first print. I've been reading the Reddit forums on this printer, and growing pains from having to figure out what works and what does not is common. Elegoo needs to step up their onboarding game.
I just received my printer and the build plate only goes up.. What am I missing here? I've upgraded from the Saturn to this one. What am I doing wrong?
It printed fine then after the upgrades nothing works. All I can get is a stuck platform on the reservoir tank, nothing else??? I did the following: Went back to 2.0 now I can send the file to the printer via Wifi. cleaned the tank Filtered the resin cleaned the build plate checked to see if it was leveled re-did the set to zero set the bottom exposure time to 40 Nothing just a small square of resin in the tank Help

Thanks the resistance part I was having issues with. This clarified everything.

But how do you remove the figure from the plate? Any tips?

So… are you going to carry this printer? I don't see it in your shop.
We sometimes like to film unboxing videos for other brands that we don't necessarily carry. At this time, nothing has been decided. 👍
What configuration should I use on the Saturn 3 Ultra with standard 8K photopolymer resin?
How tall is the printer with the lid off?
since you got that air filter do you still need the mask too wear ?? thanks
Why is my print button greyed out even though it's a .goo file? What am I missing?

Hey! Anyone have an Stl or something for an adapter to that back vent port? To 100mm vent duct? I'd be eternally grateful!
"Unboxing a printer" except weve already unboxed and used it so not really
