    Great video mate, I know this takes a little extra time but if I don't get a good flawless off the gun finish I've always just chopped the whole lot with 1500 wet then skimmed over it with the buff. Good to see that everyone has the own methods 👍👍

    Love your channel, love your videos. Do you think you can do a video on when paint wrinkles and how to fix it?

    Mate, your videos are great! I recently painted my motorcycle (Ducati Scrambler Icon) using spray cans that i got custom mixed. Actually bought them from VG Auto paints.
    I referred to a few of your videos and your information was SPOT on!
    Bike came out really well and i was extremely pleased with it. I do however have a tiny bit of bubbling around top edge of tank where the fuel cap goes.
    i know i prepped it all correctly, i think i have accidentally put too thick a coat and not let it dry enough in-between coats. Is there any way to get rid of them without actually stripping it all and respraying it all??
    It would be a shame to have to redo all the work. I havent even wet sanded yet it it looks mint! so with a wet sand it will look awesome. I painted it the Range Rover Brittish Racing Green Metallic. Looks Sick.

    Great tips. I have an air assisted spray pump gun (graco) I use to spray laquer based paint and top coats on pool tables and furniture. Do you think this is suitable for car paint?

    Thanks for all the great videos. Do you do one batch and let it sit in the gun for the colour and clear coats?

    • @customspraymods
      @customspraymods  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      CRAIG BERRY yeah it's ok to leave the primer base and clear in the gun while your doing the coats. Unless your using a fast clear. In which case do your coats quicker or the clear will dry in the gun or spray poorly.

    when you're spraying the base coat on an undamaged surface, do you do it straight on without any preparation?
    is there any risk of the fresh paint on the old unprepared paint not matching with a primed area?

    If you are filling dents and repainting a panel (the same color) on an a car, do you need to sand the original paint down to the metal? Can you use your method and buff the original paint with 800?

    • @customspraymods
      @customspraymods  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Minute Masters no you don't need to go back to metal.

    I know you've covered this before but, if I want to completely repaint a vehicle do you sand down the clear a little then prime or base? Or just shoot straight over the clear?

    • @customspraymods
      @customspraymods  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Squirrel Killa it's better to prime first.

    Always like your videos. Went to look at a shirt.... Ended up being $52 delivered.... Wasn't that keen. Have you sold many? Any chance you could paint a bicycle frame one day. People spend over $1000 to get a nice job on there road bike.

    WOW! That overspray! I've never sprayed cars but I do finish my own woodwork with a Kremlin gun and the overspray is nothing comparative. Obviously you know what you are doing Im just so surprised, I'm curious how my gun would spray automotive paint, it's a $4g setup which makes me extra curious.

    PDR my friend. Dent would be removed to 100% in less than 20 minutes. Otherwise great video to show traditional body shop repair and paint.
