On the circle setting you showed for the crosshair you can actually turn down the dot opacity to 0 to get rid of the dot.

You can't turn the dot off for the reticle but you can remove the opacity completely so it's not there. Just thought you'd want to know. It's what I do. I have a really tiny yellow circle.

Scroll wheel down to reload isn't a crazy as I thought it would be. I still sometimes hit R just because of years of hitting R, but having it on scroll real makes me feel like my movement is better.
In other games scroll wheel might be needed to adjust scope zoom, so I'm not used to mapping scrolls to stuff. But since that's not an issue even with GM Sniper, it sounds like a good idea.
For me, I set my reload to pushing my mouse wheel to the right, it's easier for me since all I have to do to slide my trigger finger over without lifting it

Has anyone got frame drops when there is just everyone in one area?? Back in the beta it ran fine but its so hard to play when it just drops a lot of frames in team fights

I understand that you did say subjective for FOV. I just wanted to add that the lower the FOV, the smaller the heads. It's not as prominent in this game, but it is still something people should be aware of

HIGHER fov makes heads smaller. Pushes your view out therefore thongs around you are smaller.
Maybe in future you can do a video on best settings for controllers. Since you're a KB&M guy, maybe ask those who you know that use controllers for what their settings are and base your video off of what they say. Or have them on the video explaining why they have those settings themselves. It'd be helpful for those who do use controllers and for console players who plan on playing the game when it's released for consoles.
When console version releases I would definitely be down to do that

And differences in playstyle for console in general would be awesome too, I've noticed that mobile suits like GM Sniper are probably much less effective despite aim assist since precision aiming with a controller is much harder vs kb + m

so my PC screen atm supports 75HZ. I have the game on 90FPS and it sometimes drops to around 75 or 80 when there's a lot of fire effects. Is it worth enabling VSync. (For specs I have a 3060 and an AMD 5000 Series)

This is all helpful information and also we thank you for showing us this and let me just say this is straight off the bat Gundam evolution is the best game ever OverWatch goes straight in the garbage because it's not going to get any better than this and I'm going to definitely love the new Gundam that's coming in on season 2 nu Gundam they say his old generates a shield barriers which protects us from all four sides which is pretty dope but unfortunately we have to make sure to keep our distance and make sure to protect our team because we don't want anyone getting close and getting through the barriers like a zaku melee two Gundam extra or barbatos those those are the three characters we have to be aware of since they like to get close and personal
There actually is a reason to have your fov lower than 110 and that is that it makes aiming slightly easier.

Surprised you didn't mention mouse acceleration which the game has on by default. There's no setting in UI to turn it off (weirdly enough) but you can change it via config files.
I was wondering why my aim felt really off so I started looking around and now my aim is WAY MORE consistent. Unfortunately it won't save the update to the file so you have to edit it before you boot up the game each time but it 100% made a difference for me.
I have heard about that, but idk how sus editing the files is right now. So I didn’t really want to suggest doing that yet 🤔
For it not saving u sure u pressed file then save after editing?
@@davidkwan9906 it saves and works but after you close that session of the game it resets the file to empty. You could make it read only but EAC really doesn't like when you do that so I wouldn't recommend it.
How much accel is it doing in the first place and is it in game or menu's only?
I tend to immediately notice when smoothing is on, but I'm also not a pro player by any means either.
(I've been tempted to go 25,600 DPI via 4.6875 sens to fool around, but that's moot if there's smoothing game side.)

Probably depends on your mouse. My mouse has a software you download that lets you change each of its buttons to whatever you want

This is telling me my sens might be way too high. What's your DPI? Mine is 800 and all my sens are at 400 lmao

You have to have the cursor on the spot where it says to choose your key bind or whatever
Everyone wants to mention the dot opacity, but is nobody going to expand upon about what Dunmir said about frame rate and Vsync?
Vsync should be enabled if you notice different parts of the screen refreshing at different rates, the phenomenon is called screen tearing.
Frame rate should be set to what your monitor/tv will allow. Setting 120 FPS on a 59.9hz TV or 60hz monitor won't make the game run any smoother, instead it's rendering frames your monitor cannot display.

I heard that lower FOV is better if you have bad aim because the models are larger. I'm still experimenting with it.
I wouldn't go this route, but I can suggest what some people did in Siege.
Purposely using the wrong aspect ratio, such as 4:3 on a 16:9 monitor, to make the models wider.
Now this will help with horizontal flicks, but you're probably better off just using Aimlab/Kovaaks. Effective practice is usually the best ROI compared to destroying the look of a video game.

i do think this is offset is certain games, in siege i think it’s fine
however in this game, people can move really fast and a wider aspect ratio will make them move faster

Yes because using a controller on a PC FPS is not anywhere near the best control option. His video title would be a lie if he told you to use a controller.
