What’s up Lucky ? How’ve things been ? “Wheelman” here and thought I’d say hello really quickly. I’ve gotten back into Skyrim for a while now and as of yesterday, I’ve already beaten Alduin. Then afterwards I got a pretty decent start on the Dragonborn DLC. Just finished the Kolbjorn Barrow quest and I must say, I had almost forgotten how cool that quest is since it’s been a while since I got to Solstheim. Trying to decide whether or not to watch wrestling tonight.
I agree with @tyler Bennett I would love a video on the setup. currently just set up everything and it is telling most of the add-ons are out of date and not applying them. I have hit update on minion and restarted everything but this didn't rectify it...

Hey man, I'm new to ESO and I'm just BLOWN AWAY by the quality of your videos, as a long-time WoW player, shifting entirely to a new game after a decade and a half of using the same UI/mechanics etc felt like a major challenge, but holy shit, your videos are concise and precise, you present everything in such a way that's simple to understand and quite inviting!

Thank you so much! I had a few of these already but the one that will save me so much hassle is the writ worthy! I have TONS of writs just sitting in my bank and was just checking a few at a time manually to see if I could do them. So the pile kept getting bigger and bigger. Now I can know instantly!
Your videos are so helpful. I have most of these, but I didn't know about some others. Map Pins, Quest Map and Lorebooks are so helpful. Another add-on I recommend is Lost Treasure which shows the locations for treasure and survey sites on your map as long as you have the map in your inventory.
Map pins already does it so it makes those redundant if you wanna ditch em!
@@LuckyGhost You forgot HarvestMap which have 3D pin that show in game where you will find nodes and chest nodes among other things. It can help new player with few skill point to avoid using skill point that high light harvest nodes depending on range of player to each node and have instead a 3D pin indicating what node it is.
Both HarvestMap and those amp tools mentioned from LadyAmalthea have existed since ESO went public in 2014, so other addon have been developed with those add on in mind to avoid possible conflicts like not showing on compass.
I would suggest to also take a look at PointsofColor as it replaces those black and white map pin icon on map with coloured map pin which is easier to see what they are supposed to represent.
PerfectPixel do work wonders for UWD (3440 x 1440 resolution) and seem to not have issues with Azurah which can control ESO UI elements and unlock them to be moved around on screen and locked in place.
Considering how far addon have come since 2014 I have to say most addon doesn't have issues like they had at that time and that is because of their use of Lib (shared library).

Hey, great work! I just got back to the game after over 2yrs off, and it's nice to have you video as a reference. It made me realize that for a new player, maybe having a little explanation regarding dependencies. It took me a couple of seconds to remember and figure out why my addons weren't working, but I think for a new player it might be interesting to have the explanation included, I would say, at the end where you talk about minion? Anyway, love your vid, thanks for the guide :)

Hi there, an absolutely nice list! There are some things however I want to add that can make your life even easier:
- Combat Metrics - an alternative to Hodor Reflexes, an other dps meter, however I don't think it has the limitations of Hodor, though I might be mistaken here. On the other hand apart from the basic dps meter functionalty this also provide analitycs for the previous encounters that you can analyze later to improve.
- Research Assistant - researching traits is a huge part of ESO crafting, this addon gives an extra line to the gear item tooltips that shows if the trait has been researched. It also scans all your characters and shows which characters have researched it and which not.
-TraitBuddy - you need to set a keybind for this and it will show which traits you've researched, whixh are in the process (including time) and which are not researched, an amazing helper.
- Potion Maker - adds a new poition and poison crafting interface that is much more accessible
- Master Merchant - this one is also recommended along with Tamriel Trade Center, MM shows in the tooltip the actual price of any item your trade guilds are selling - note that this addon is really performance heavy, so if you are not planning to do a lot of trading it's better to switch it off (or not having at all)
- Awesome Guild Store - gives a much more detailed and imroved guild store interface
- Warhorn - gives you a little icon on the screen that shows if the warhorn skill (a staple group support skill) is active, recommended for tanks as they are the ones who are mainly providing the buff
- Untaunted - recommended for tanks, shows the duration of your taunts on the screen, so you can track it much easier
- Votan's keybinder - an amazing tool!!! For some reason in the base game if you have a unique keybind set up for a character you need to redo it for a new characters, the settings are not global, with this addon you can select keybinds and make them global, so you won't have to care about it anymore.
- Harvest map - shows you the gathering node locations of your map that you have already found, so it's easier to go back, also shows all nearby gathering nodes on your compass. You can aslo leave 3D markers on the locations you've gathered from for easier discovery if it doesn't bother you immersion.
Honorable mentions:
- Dark UI - an alternative if you don't like Bandit UI, very similar to the original UI, but a sort of cleaner dark version, I've been using it since I started playing ESO, to me basically this is the vanilla UI, and vanilla is the strange one :)
- Votan's minimap - Dark UI doesn't have minimap in it so this addon provides a highly customizable minimap
- Inventory Grid View - makes your inventory a grid view, like all other mmos, rather than the liines we have NOTE: for some reason right now this addon bugs the ui of the game, so don't use it now, but an amazing tool if it's fixed.

Thank you for the vid bro, quest map addon was what I was looking for.
As a note 2 things I found with which I had problems after installing his recommended addons.
1. If text overwrites other text, there's some other addon that conflicts and needs uninstalled.
2. If Bars or stuff does not look like in his video, Bandit UI has the option Move Frames, so one can move them to look like his or otherwise. His bars are from the setting Player Frames Bandits : Vertical instead of Pyramid.
I was wondering this and figured he moved the bars but good to know for sure!

Like "Auto Recharge (and repair)", I find "Grubmaster Food & Drink Auto Consume" essential as I always used to forget my food before. :p
I also like "GridList" in addition to "Auto Category" as I like to have a more compact inventory.

if anyone's confused about the "item set tracker" that he mentions after the "item set collection tracker" not appearing in minion, it's because it's not called "item set tracker" it's called "set tracker". It's the one by Elephant.

I'm brand new to ESO and completely lost and I've been using your videos a lot. One thing major thing that is missing in this video is the dependencies. Almost every single mod was red and was missing a ton of videos and spent another 10 mins downloading all the missing files. It would just make it easier to add a section without all these. For some reason Minion was not opening for me while the game was running so I had to start the game, take a screenshot of what was missing, start the game, and double check if there was anything else missing. I had 5 screenshots of missing files I needed to download for these things to work. I haven't played the game yet with these add-ons but I'm sure they are going to be amazing as the rest of the videos helped me understand what character and build I was going to choose and basic information about the game.

Hi, thanks for the video, I'm a completely new player and I discovered ESO addons after about 5 h of playing (my playing time is only something around 12h), and I'm glad that similar videos exist, it's completely different to play with and without addons.
Question outside of the video, what does your character look like, is it a skin from the shop or a combination of something? It looks great!

So I got my pc, down loaded all the addonds you recommended, but then when I looked at them 90% are out of date, is there a way to fix this.

i like this video and was wondering how to move some of the ingame stuff around from the addons. for instance i have a bar on my screen from one of the addons that sits halfway down the screen and it limits what i can see. for instance in this video the bar on your left of screen at about 14:02 in my game sits further inward and up, so how would i move that or other bars. thanks in advance

Could you make an in detail guide on how to make the categories for auto category revised? It's confusing for a guy like me but I would like to make a category that holds all my gear that I switch to for different builds within the armory
So is it better to get just Map Pins and not Skyshards, Lore Books, Destinations & Harvest Maps? I know Map pins does lore books and skyshards but what about the other 2?

Great video, it made eso wat better! I was wondering how u made ur ability bar move upwards?. Mine is at the bottom of the screen by default.
Without the Beam Me Up mod, you don't have to go searching through the list looking for whoever is in the zone you want. Just teleport to the first person on the list, then use the wayshrine you are now standing next to to go wherever you want for free.
Love how the alphabetical list has Wizards Wardrobe as the second item :p
Great Video :) however have a question where do I get writ worthy from ? The Minion add on search doesn't have it in it ?

Hello, great videos! I was wondering if you had a video on how to set some of these add on up for noobs like me. Also how to troubleshoot? Not sure which add on is controlling it but when I right click in my inventory now, can't see the options so can't add to junk for example...

Installing these addons, will they have negative effects on your fps? I only ask because your running at 60fps :( I didn't even see how to adjust fps mine runs at 100 by default I'm assuming? LOVE YOUR CONTENT!!!!!!! I'm console player new to PC community and you've helped a TON!!!!

Hey lucky, I was wondering if you had a fix for one of the issues I have with a library that is needed for some of the addons... The lib custom menu addon causes text overlaps when I right click in my inventory. Is there anyway past that?
Hey man! When I open my Inventory (I) it show's it like it normally would in Skyrim which Is big and clunky on the left. However when I go to Addons -> Perfect Pixel, it displays just like yours in the video. I have bandit installed and I have Accessibility Mode OFF but it still is showing like that. Do you have any tips / Ideas on why this is happening? It makes it almost unplayable that you can never see important information easily. is there any other addons that can affect it? Thanks mate

Lucky I really wish my UI looked exactly like yours. I believe I could enjoy the game so much more. Could you do an in-depth tutorial on setting up your UI? I have BanditUI by Hoft but it looks nothing like yours. Your chat box, the position your skill bar is placed all of it. How’d you change the position. Whenever I press Alt, I have to scroll up or down through menues with my mouse and use my “E” key to proceed or my “X” key to back out. It’s really annoying. I would appreciate it so much if you could do this for us new players 🙏🏼🥹

Hey I'm having issues with some of the addons you recommended, it says in chat box in game. That libaddonmenu 2.0 is interfering with the game for some reason. Any advice

nope, ESO addons just say they are out of date some times. fortunately this does not mean they don't work. it just means the author didn't go in and specifically say that it does work with the current patch
Lucky i installed all these addons exactly as you suggested and i love them although when i press the P key tp find a group or do randoms i lose most of my UI it just disappears and im stuck with no control I cant even press esc to log out i have to force close and reboot from steam. any suggestions would be helpful other than trying each individual addon to see which one hates me lol

This is a great Video for installing Addons and what to install but I seem to be having a lot of problems with the addon Minion is installing. They seem to either be missing libraries or the libraries that Minion is installing are still showing as out of date. Any thoughts on how to resolve this?
Same jist installed pretty much all these same add ons he did and alot of them in game and libs say "out of date"

Ive bought eso 5 days ago and they help me much so far. 2 questions about addons for u if u can anwer: 1) Which addons show dmg numbers on enemy after a hit? 2) Which UI addon gives this box mentioned in perfect pixel addon? I downloaded darkUI which looks similar but my UI is still default ish.. (i got all libraries needed).
I don't use dark ui just the ones in this list and the numbers showing up when attacking is base game setting:)
hello lucky ghost. i am new to eso and have downloaded most of these add ons, but when i checked them (after making sure all the extra files needed to make them function were also downloaded) a majority of them said "out of date". is there any way to fix this or to download a more recent version of these? i would really appreciate it if you could help with this as i really wanna use them but currently cant.

Have you tried BindAll? It will automatically bind gear you haven't collected when you pick it up.

hello i just downloaded eso and did your add ons. im having issues with bandits ui saving my frames when i move them wherever. i just came from console gaming so this is all too new to me. is there something im missing? any help would be much appreciated ive searched far and wide on the internet for an answer but 0 answers. Thanks for this Lucky! I am returning to ESO after quite some time and I forgot some of these great addons. Even grabbed a couple I didn't know I needed. I'll have to agree to disagree regarding Minion. That program is worse than the CK for Beth games. It's a nightmare to keep open/running. It also doesn't install all your addons to the folder. I found a handful that I had to manually install even though they were showing as installed within Minion. That program needs some tweaking. Otherwise, I appreciate all the work you did on this video. Thanks so much!
P.S. LOVE the angel of death thing you got going on with your character. A sort of dark Tyrial. ♥

if you go to my twitch channel and type "!uisettings" in chat (even when im offline) the bot will give you a clip that shows all my ui settings for you :))

Anyone have this issue? I have 2 chats on my screen at all times after downloading all of these addons, one chat is the default eso chat, the other is in the middle of the right hand side of my screen blocking my minimap anyone know how to get rid of this second elusive chat?
I installed alot of these addons and its completely changed my experience for the better. I guess the one caveat i should add, tamriel trade center doesn't seem to work if you're launching from Steam.
It does work. Make sure to run the tamriel trade center client inside the addon folder. It won't work until you run that. After that you have to run that once every week or two

Hi, how to see armor damage percentage ? and Lvl exp in numbers ? maybe addon as well ? :)
How do you hand in those crafting quests so fast? It takes me at least 2 seconds each, and I seem to be subject to the GCD for pressing E to hand in each quest. I use Lazy Write Crafter too. Just wondering if my high ping from Australia is affecting the game that much.

My inventory insight is not opening up when I open my inventory. It all looks current and installed correctly. Any idea why?
So confused. When I press “M” to open up my map, I don’t get any of the widgets above my map like his at 23:03. All I get is quest options on the right side, no filter at all.
Anyone knows the fix for the problem with the craft store addon? I can get it to work and got both the req for it. Tho it wont show me what I already reserched when I am on my alt :/ I remmber it could do that before? (just cameback to eso hehe) and it gives me an errror pop up when I have it open and click my characters mine in it. Any ideas? or any other addon that tracks already reserched items across all your characters?
I am brand new to ESO less than a week in, I only have the base game, is that the reason I cannot really use my mouse? or is it add ons that open that up? I really want the ability to grab and drag things or even point and click to select items in inventory.

I had this issue trying to get the add on menu up if u haven’t found out already it’s ecs button that will bring up some menus on the left where u can click on add ons I hope this helps
