The one detail that is an absolute standout to me is the gradient on the wings. The beautiful subtlety of the layered feathers starting black/gray at the base and gently fading to white at the tips is incredible, especially when you can see it in the middle of the wing with the layered feathers. Favourite part of the whole build in my eyes

Gosh the wing, the feathers looks like blades. Very futuristic looking.
As a beginner watching you make your own additions to the model kit whilst you were building it was honestly pretty crazy. Plus I finally learned what using primer does.
primer goes for all painting, not just gunpla.
And its not just for color issues. It literally "primes" the surface to accept new paint. Its good and quick option to see blemishes before main paint because it makes everything matte and light does reflect off it super hard.
The point of matte coating is to neutralize light reflection actually, from either gloss coat or an otherwise original shiny surface of the model (which is why military vehicles are a flat olive drab or grey). If anything matte coating will help blend minor imperfections making them less noticeable.

FF7 was my all time favorite game ever so this is absolutely incredible!!! I miss building these and I want to do a few soon hopefully. I just wish I could do the small details but can't since I no longer have steady enough hands to do so. But again. Amazing work!!!

Wow this is awesome love it man! Sephiroth has always been one of my favorite characters in all of final fantasy's right beside Cecil and Kain.
Okay, I'm so fucking impressed with the result that I find it difficult to put into words. Absolutely amazing. Maybe the only things I'd change is make those little green accents with a paint that glows under UV light and make the sword longer, but that's really it. This is so damn good it deserves to be in the official Gundam or FF related media. The choice of colours is simply ideal. Honestly, can't praise you enough for creating such an eye candy. I'm a massive fan of everything that's stylish and beautiful and this easily takes one of the top spots among the best things I've seen. Love it!

im highly impressed with your skills . im just getting into gunpla and this has inspired me to try my hand at making a custom gundam
I randomly mentioned wanting to build a gunpla to my wife, telling her that the only one I ever built was a Deathscythe Hell well over ten years ago. She decided to surprise me by trying to find a Deathscythe, Instead she found a HG Wing Zero, which I really enjoyed building. I built a MG RX 78-2 v1.5 shortly after that, and just picked up a RG Wing Zero, what can I say, I'm hooked :P
Just recently came across this channel, can't thank you enough for the tips, tricks, and inspiration :)
if you wanna slowly get into customizing your kits, I suggest learning to panel line -> water decals -> painting your kit -> scribing -> adding PLA parts. slowly learn to master each step before moving on to the next step, I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I did.
@@andrepond4470 This is actually a really helpful tip, as much as I want to try and develop many skills at once, I'm trying to develop them one at a time. I'm getting really comfortable with scribing right now, and starting to dabble in painting. I bought a super cheap RX to try different methods of primer, top coat, painting on each limp so I can see what I like best. Thanks again!

When you separate all the parts in tubs - how exactly do you do it? Do you do one tub per part? Or like one tub contains all the arm pieces?
I think each tub was the pieces from each sheet of parts, but I may be mistaken

Love the videos, relaxing and informative not to mention your customizing is top notch. Love it. The primer is not only to get a uniform base, but also promotes the paint to adhere to the plastic better. Other wise you get paint lift while taping.... been here done that. Sucks.

Nope that's not Sephiroth, the sword needs to be at least 10 kilometres long.
when you have actual beam sabers the sword can be as long as you want

Agreed, should be at least 1/3 taller than the height of the MS for it to be Sephiroth's sword.

Putting a Wing Zero custom together right now but its no where near as detailed as yours is so very nice, great music too!
Just amazing truly beautiful the only things missing for perfection were for the katana to twice as long at least an maybe customize the wings head by adding the Nadleeh wire hair extended and painted silver for Sephiroth's luxurious locks.
this is so awesome. if they do make another gunplay based gundam anime, this has to be the main rival of the protaginist or the villian's gunpla

It looks really good for what you're going for. The paint is especially well done. I can't stand the the one wing and have never been able to and I don't think it looks much better here. That less to do with you and more to do with what Sephiroth's character design has shifted to.
